The headboard is 64 inches tall including the crown the footboard is 30 inches tall. The mattresses are 73.5 inches long and 34.5 inches wide. LET’S TALK CONDITION: Excellent condition for the age. Much better than what is typically found beds of this type and era, ready to use very clean and with a wonderful patina to the wood. With the original slats, no replacement wood no discoloration no significant or structural damage. The head side of the rails on each bed have a missing part of the decorative designee and the other rail with one intact and one repaired(see the third photo) One of the footboards has chips on the base of the columns(see last photo) and this footboard also has some loose joints giving it some slight pay, less than typical for antique bedframes. He was 6'6" tall and said in never bothered him to bend his leg every night: This furniture is a family heirloom passed to be my my grandparents. It is all original and has never been refinished(excluding the small foot stool wihich was dismanteled and strippped) The furnitue is in EXCELLENT shape. All pieces are perfectly complete. This is a very nice. Well made, sturdy, solid, vanity set from the 1920's or 1930's I think. The mirror is nice& clear, there are a couple minor scratches that could be polished over easily. I don't know what kind of wood it is or what the style is called. The vanity with the mirror measures approx 57" tall x 34" wide x 21" deep. The matching chair measures approx 36" tall x 15-1/2" wide x 16" deep. There is no makers mark or tag that I can find on this set. The wood on the vanity surface is a beautiful wood grain design. Marble Top Victorian Antique Bedroom Dresser with Mirror and decorative top
This is an antique dresser with a beveled marble top(marble recently replaced) and candle-stands flanking the large mirror in the middle. The greatest thing about this piece is the decorative top that attaches via pegs to the top of the mirror(see pics) It has rolling wheels on the bottom. So it's easy to move around. The top can be removed from the bottom via screws on the back of the mirror. All in all. I'd say it's in good condition, but has been stored and of course needs a good cleaning. What a beautiful set you've found! It’s a neo-classical high-quality mahogany five-piece bedroom set by the Northern Furniture Company of Sheboygan. Wisconsin, dating from the 1930s or‘40s. If this was period neo-classical, you’d be looking at paying in the high thousands, but this is a very unique copy, complete with the ebonized pillars, the simulated brass ormolu trim, and the diamond point ebony inlay, with brass ormolu style stars. A hard. Close-grained wood, mahogany can be strikingly veined or mottled, as observed in these pieces. The set consists of a four-drawer tall chest. Two single beds, a matching three-drawer chest, and a matching mirror. All finished in a dark reddish-brown color, with two glass tops, and the whole set is all ready to find a place in your home. The set retains the feel of its original neo-classical style ... morehardware. The gilding and black ebonized paint is intact. It’s really stunning. The overall sizes of the pieces, beginning with the tall chest, are 36 inches wide, 21 inches deep, and 46 inches high. It has the brass ormolu style trim across the top of the picture-frame molded top drawer, and the bottom three drawers are gold stenciled, and all drawers are dovetailed. The pillars are all intact, and there is a little gold star is down at the base of the French ogee foot and also has ormolu trim. Antique Hungerford of Memphis Mahogany Furniture Bedroom Set. Set consist of a gentleman's dresser. A double dresser with mirrow, end table, and a full size canopy bed. The gentleman's dresser and double mirrowed dresser and stenciled on back with one having a 1919 date and the other 1916, the stencil has 09/30/19, so I assume that's date of manufacture. Overall the set is in very good condition, with some scratches on the sides of the end table, and maybe light scratch here and there. I can provide better pictures if sincerely interested. and the end pegs for the canopy bed are not pictured but stored in one of the drawers.
