Original quartered oak 3 glass dresser mirror
This is a really nice three tier dresser mirror or shaving mirror. As good of original finish as I have seen-smooth. Even, and with a nice aged patina. Piece is completely original in every way. Mirrors are also original with some minor losses-not enough to justify replacement. Drawer in the base for your stuff. Note the beautiful quartered oak used in construction. Circa 1910 I would think. VTG 3 pc 50'S Black Art Deco Wood Bedroom Furniture Set Chest Dresser Mirror I remember these pieces in my aunt's bedroom many years ago. Pretty sure they are from the 50's. She always had"modern" taste back then. No idea who the manufacturer was but back of the dresser reads"WMB 8862 8864 T. DR. and then"90 Blue Mink" Pieces are heavy and seem to be made of oak. The grain is visible with a shiny black stain on it. Which sort of gives it a blackish, blue color. The handles are gold metal, but not sure what kind. There is a routing line around several drawers that are filled in with a gold finish. It has been used so there are some nicks here and there, but she was pretty careful with her things because at that time they needed to last a life time. There is s faint line around the top where she must have ... morehad some sort of cover over it to protect the top. Both pieces are slightly more narrow at the top and then get wider at the bottom-pretty neat with interesting lines, modern lines. Legs are attached at an angle. Drawers are dovetailed and made of what I think is oak. Description: Chest-45" tall; 20" deep; 40" long with 5 drawers- Note on the back there is a surface nick on one leg. But does not impact the piece. Dresser-32" tall; 60" long; 21" deep with 3 sets of 3 drawers(the 3 large ones are in the center) Mirror attaches to the top with screws in the back. Mirror-50 1/2" long by 33" tall(including 1 3/4" wood piece at bottom) Beveled(some clouding& some slight silver loss typical for it's age) Attached to wood which then sits on top of the dresser and bolted to 3 pieces of wood in the back. Here up for auction is an antique vanity/ make-up table I found in an estate sale here in our Great Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. It measures 45 inches wide and 18 inches front to back. It has a desk top 31 inches tall with all the room for the chair you will have to have. It also has the original mirror that is a three piece. It measures 31 inches wide and 35 inches tall. The mirror has the original tarnish that most antiques have. It could be replaced but the original has the personality that matches the desk. Here again I will not change it so not to take any value out of the piece. It's missing one leg and with all antiques I will not replace it so not to take any value out of the piece so if you want to find one you can go from there with that. TRUE ART DECO 3 DRAWER DRESSER BUREAU WITH MIRROR
This is an old Art Deco dresser from the late 1930's. It has three drawers with chrome drawer pulls that are original to the dresser. The drawer4s have a nice grain pattern typical of the era. The mirror has Deco style stepped side panels. There's no exceptional wear on the dresser beyond what is normal for a 75 year old piece of furniture. The drawers do stick occasionally. But the finish on the piece is nice and polished up nicely. The top doesn't have quite the same shine being the part that has seen the most wear over the years, but Old English works wonders on it. Vintage art deco 3 drawer dresser. Good condition. Please review all pictures closely. Couple of things I noticed on the dresser. It has couple of l areas of blue paint on it one on the top corner and other small one the side. top has your average wear. Mirror I noticed when cleaning is starting to have haze marks. it has two spots of chips of the wood missing. front drawer and spot on the side bottom. On the left side I see some stain drips. See picture 6. Size is Dresser 43 3/4" long x 18 1/2" deep x 34" tall Mirror over all is 32" wide on the bottom and is 33 7/8" high Mirror itself is 24" wide x 29 1/2" high. No cracks in the mirror. This is a really nice piece. It measures only 14 3/4" tall, 7 1/2" across the widest, and 5 3/8" deep. There is handwriting in pencil on the back of the mirror, I cannot make it out, though. There are 2 drawers, and a real mirror, which shows some discoloration. On the right side of the mirror, it was either made this way, or the piece was broke off years ago, since it is stained. Antique Oak 3 Drawer Dresser w Swivel Mirror local p/u only LA, CA
This furniture is believed from the early 1900s. We have owned and used it since 1995 when it was purchased by us from"Country Cottage" in Monrovia. CA for $644. The dresser has claw feet and no defects or scratches. The mirror surface does of course exhibit"antiquing" and as a result the reflective surface is not perfect as new glass would be. Very Neat Folk Art Antique Miniature 3 Drawer Chest Of Drawers&Mirror"DB 1923" American. Probably Pennsylvania Circa 1923. Found in the Ephrata, PA area. Signed"DB 1923" on the inside of the uppermost drawer. Please viwe the slideshow here: Neat little chest of drawers comprising of three nail constructed drawers with hand chamfered drawer bottoms. Resting on turned feet, and a mirror in classical empire style frame. the entire chest is washed over in a red wash stain or paint, and the drawers are outlined in a gold or yellow paint banding. the sides of the case are painted with the same yellow/gold painted banding. the drawer fronts are sold walnut, and the rest of the case is constructed of pine. 100% original condition. great original aged patina, in a warm red colour. no hurts or major damages, aside from minor ... moredings associated with 90 years of use.
