Antique Piano Legs Great Carving Nice Corbels or Table Base
Great set of antique piano legs with great carving. One leg is missing a part( shown in pics) there are some joint marks showing but nothing loose. These legs have been stripped. 20 1/4" tall 11 1/2" wide 2 3/4" deep. The legs have the# 10292 missing the 2 on the one that is missing the piece. Great corbels or table base even with missing piece. Here is a nice set of Kenney Bros& Wolkins cast iron adjustable table legs. They would make a great coffee table. End table, or whatever else you can dream up for them. Great industrial look to them. Legs are in great shape with no cracks or repairs. Refer to the pictures for finish condition. There is light rust in places. They could be easily cleaned up and painted or left as is to really show their age. The legs are 11 and 3/4" wide at the base, and 7 and 1/2" wide at the top. A very cool old cast iron pedestal base. Marked on the bottom with Heywood Eclipse. The base is 8 and 3/4" in diameter. It adjusts from 10 and 3/8" at the lowest to 17 and 5/8" at the highest. Antique 1940's Walnut Dining Room Table 3-12" Leave 6 Leg Ornate Dark 45x60
Up for auction is my dining room table. Very ornate with 6 turned legs connected near floor by carved arms. Carved trim on apron. Extra wide for fitting more seats when needed. Has 3 12" leaves(no aprons) finish is not matching. So need to use tablecloth with leaves. Table will open up even more, so if you had more leaves made, you could seat even more. Finish Is in pretty good shape, could use touchup refinish on top. Some cloud areas, one chip in veneer and one small area where finish is worn. Legs are in pretty good shape. Antique 20 1/2" Medina NY Cast Iron Machine Age Industrial Table Base Leg Ornate
Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" Here is another great looking antique cast iron table base or leg– a little bit more ornate than the standard Machine Age Industrial salvage pieces we usually offer. This stand or base stands 20 ½” tall at the top and measures 9” across the bottom of the base. The circular top measures 12” across at the outside edges and between 11 ½” and 11 ¾” across at the inside rim or shelf. One side of that inside shelf is marked SPECIAL and the opposite side is marked SIZE 11 ¾. The center post is topped with an emblem that also tightens up the bolt at the bottom– the emblem or topper is marked ... moreMEDINA. N.Y. W. IDE. Each side has a wonderful scroll work arm to support the top piece. The center post. Pole or leg has a stacked look which attaches to the domed base. I took a picture of how the top is attached with the old original screws on one side from underneath. This stand or table base needs to either have the bolt or screw that runs up the center replaced or tightened up. There is no damage to the piece– no breaks. Cracks, or repairs. There are some areas of old original paint, and some areas of rust coloring. The bottom of the base has the most rust coloring, but there are no areas of pitting or weakness in the metal. We gave this pieces a quick going over with a hard bristle brush and nothing else. With a bit of time and elbow grease, this will be a work of art. Genuine Period Antique Carved Wood Table Stand w/ Drawer Drop Pull
A genuine early period antique wood table stand. I am in a slight dilemma as to which period it is from. Could be Colonial but cannot say 100% although could be Colonial Revival/ Victorian as well. It does have the appearance and the hardware fits but I am not an expert at furniture so will leave it up to your discretion after reading description and viewing pictures. The table is 20" tall x 21 3/4" across x 12.5 deep, weighs approx 17-18 lbs. It has one drawer that pulls out from the bottom that has a flower carving on each side of it's drop pull. Drop pull and plate appear to be iron with pull itself having a pointed end with rough side surface and smooth faceted, roughly made, pointed tip(somewhat like an old handmade nail look) The drop pull is secured with a staple fastener. The drawer has the triangular cut dove tailing ... morebut odd in that the back side of the drawer's dovetailing is round, see pics. The back of the drawer are carve marked with"+L" The two sides are carved with medallions in a flower design. The legs are turned and the feet are an onion style bun feet, slightly flattened. The wood has the grain of Atlantic White Cedar but will admit I am not great at identification of various woods but when comparing some pictures it looked closest. It is in VG condition, one foot does have a crack in it, there is a small crack on the edge of one of the carved panels on the drawer, and the panel above the drawer where two side by side pieces of wood meet has a very slight space in between them. There is a small light scratch/ scuff here and there. Very nicely kept and cared for during it's 100+ years(as I don't believe it to date early then late 1800's, this I am rather sure of) I acquired this at an estate her in Charlotte where I also purchased an 1880's Minton piece which I recently sold. Description Set of 4 antique cast iron and glass claw and ball feet. They are 6" tall with 3" diameter glass balls. The hole at the top is 1 3/8" at the widest and tapers smaller. Three have no cracks or big chips. One has a chip under the face and along the edge of the metal. See photo) Looks like it was factory flaw. Has air pocket in the chip. This is a beautiful turn of the century matched pair of genuine Kenney Wolkins signed thick cast iron table legs. They are in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks and the black paint is in good condition with moderate paint loss. They adjust from 17.5" to 24.5" and are all original with large nut screw adjustments. Screws and slides all run smoothly and they lock down nice and tight. These ball and claw feet were removed from an antique. Likely Victorian era, table but are the right diameter for a chair or stool. They are heavy cast metal and clear glass. The white on our photo is flash reflection. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The cast claws are in beautiful condition, of course not as polished(gold color) as they once were but likely they can be professional polished or plated. They measure 4" tall from the bottom of the glass, i.e. the floor, to the top. The top openings are about 3/4" in diameter. This is the apron f rom an antique table that was about 68"X48" It was an oval table. So some of these are more curved since they were on the ends and the straighter ones were the sides. They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. Please look over pictures) These are almost 6" wide at the widest and each piece is about 23"2 3.5" lo ng. these are r eally HEAVY! They will cost at lea st $35. to ship. Maybe more! They are about 30 pounds before packing! There are a few missing edges. I will include any I have. But I don't know if I have them all. Also include are the pieces that you screw to the bottom of your tab le. T hat slide into the grove on the back of these to hold the apron on your table. I think these are oak. I am not quite sure of the material, they almost look& feel like marble, quite possibly alabaster& maybe even a poly resin. I honestly do not know what type of material they used at the time. These are very beautiful. The pictures show them as they are, but as I am posting this, the grime is wiping right off. I will leave the cleaning to you as I have a tendency to ruin things.
