It has some patina on the metal hinges. One of the legs has a missing supporting piece(about a 1 inch long little piece of wood) This piece can use some heavy cleaning. This table would have supported a lamp. This lamp is not included. Pleasingly solid brass trays are supported by a folding base to produce a two tier table. The piece is suitable both for permanent location or as on occasional table. When in folded position the table assumes very little space and can be slid under a sofa or such; in addition the gorgeous solid trays may be used on their own for serving and display purposes. The base is a six leg folding design with dragons head carvings to the upper. The trays display wonderful scense with floral and foliate detailing to the perimeter and a central engraving featuring oriental characters in traditional dress. Overall this peice of furniture is in good condition and will make a great addition to any setting. 20" tall approximately 17" width 10" wide lower tray 14" wide upper tray We are a non-profit store and this was a donation. We are fairly certain this is not a reproduction piece and is truly from the 1930's. This lovely vintage Art Deco Japanese kyodai. Or mirror stand& vanity dating from the early Showa period between1930 and the early 50's boasts an adjustable 3 way mirror that creates multiple reflections, made in a beautiful extra thick quality glass with beveled borders that still has a very clear reflection for its age. The center below the mirror is adorned with a textured glass surface reflecting a pale blue colour. Its Art deco lines, adorned with a lovely stripy grain veneer in a golden shade are accented by silver tone openwork handles. Small drawers offer space for accessories or make-up and it can easily fit on a night stand, chest or work top making it an very useable and versatile piece. It is in excellent overall condition for its age with no major damage. This bow fronted section has two wooden small doors to the bottom and bow fronted drawer above leading to two bow fronted glazed doors. The glazed doors have the most wonderful bevelled glass which is a really good feature and original. Behind the doors there are shelves for storage and we have fitted new locks and keys to the doors. This bedroom was set was purchased at an antique store in Eureka. California for $3,500 about 8 years ago. Made by Morris Furniture Manufacturing Company, Los Angeles. It includes: Nightstand. 16 in wide x 13 in deep x 27 in tall- Vanity. 48.5 in wide x 18.5 in deep x 30 in tall without mirror, or 65 in tall with mirror attached- Stool with original upholstery underneath a layer of modern fabrics. 22 in wide x 12 in deep x 17.5 in tall- Dresser with five drawers. 32 in wide x 19.5 in deep x 49 in tall The set will require some polish. There are only two pieces of the original glass left(on the sides of the vanity) and the hardware is not original. There are some watermarks on the top of the nightstand. All in all the set is in good shape and is very lovely. The construction is fantastic.

VTG 3 pc 50'S Black Art Deco Wood Bedroom Furniture Set Chest Dresser Mirror I remember these pieces in my aunt's bedroom many years ago. Pretty sure they are from the 50's. She always had"modern" taste back then. No idea who the manufacturer was but back of the dresser reads"WMB 8862 8864 T. DR. and then"90 Blue Mink" Pieces are heavy and seem to be made of oak. The grain is visible with a shiny black stain on it. Which sort of gives it a blackish, blue color. The handles are gold metal, but not sure what kind. There is a routing line around several drawers that are filled in with a gold finish. It has been used so there are some nicks here and there, but she was pretty careful with her things because at that time they needed to last a life time. There is s faint line around the top where she must have ... morehad some sort of cover over it to protect the top. Both pieces are slightly more narrow at the top and then get wider at the bottom-pretty neat with interesting lines, modern lines. Legs are attached at an angle. Drawers are dovetailed and made of what I think is oak. Description: Chest-45" tall; 20" deep; 40" long with 5 drawers- Note on the back there is a surface nick on one leg. This interesting full sized bedframe dates to the 1930’s and is in good condition with mostly original materials that would benefit from restoration. Other pieces in this Art Deco suite are also currently for sale in my other listings. This and all pieces in the suite are numbered 4135. The headboard features a solid dark wood base(possibly Black Walnut) and blond(possibly White Acer) combed wood accent. There are six holders that would accommodate a 1x3 support trim and hold a mattress on top. Judging by the holder hardware, the support system was never used to secure wood trim. Please take the time to review the photographs and ask questions. This piece shows wear and needs some restoration. Most of it is original; I suspect that two casters are replacements. The footboard has decorative brass nail head accents with some missing and the Fabrikoid seems a bit stiff. The upholstery also needs some TLC. The wood base has natural scratches from use. The right cupboard also has a single shelf. This is an old Art Deco dresser from the late 1930's. It has three drawers with chrome drawer pulls that are original to the dresser. The drawer4s have a nice grain pattern typical of the era. The mirror has Deco style stepped side panels. There's no exceptional wear on the dresser beyond what is normal for a 75 year old piece of furniture. The drawers do stick occasionally. But the finish on the piece is nice and polished up nicely. The top doesn't have quite the same shine being the part that has seen the most wear over the years, but Old English works wonders on it. I just finished a complete strip. Sand, and refinish on this beautiful waterfall dresser. Hello.up for auction today. Fabulous Vintage 1920's-1930's Art Deco Waterfall vanity with center drawer. Large round mirror with tiled copper mirrors beneath it. Gorgeous hardware. One side has 2 drawers and the other side is a cabinet, does also have rollers. Vanity measures 63" in height to the top of the mirror, 48" in length and 18 1/2" wide. Nice vintage condition, the mirror is clear with no cloudiness or spots. Sides of the vanity has some splits in the veneer along the edge and the other side has some rippling in the veneer, also on the top the finish has smudged along the front edge( see last pictures) A unique piece, thank you for looking and please feel free to email with me questions.
