Vintage Antique Dresser Drawer Pulls 3 Set of Large 1 Set Smaller Matching
I thank you for taking time to stop in and having a closer look at my auction item. It was purchased at an estate sale. For your consideration to bid. This is a complete set of drawer pulls. Three pair of larger. And one pair of matching smaller pulls. They are cleaned and do have WD-40 on them. Some of the back screws were a little tight, so the WD loosened them. They are now all finger loose. The larger pulls are 2 3/4 inch long. The round open work back plate is 1 3/4 inch across. The screw is 1 inch long, and it would take a straight tip driver. The center final on the back of the plate is 1/4 inch long, but it is sunk into the plate. On the small ones, the screw length is the same. The length is 2 and 5/16 inches. Up for auction are four matching metal antique Victorian era hardware furniture pulls recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice cartuche form and retains original screws in two of the four pieces. A cleaner pull is on one piece, but one with the original patina is included. This is what was found and all will be included to the winning bidder. The backing is tin and the pull is brass. The backings are approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Pulls extend approximately 2" from the backing. A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed on any steampunk style project. Genuine Period Antique Carved Wood Table Stand w/ Drawer Drop Pull
A genuine early period antique wood table stand. I am in a slight dilemma as to which period it is from. Could be Colonial but cannot say 100% although could be Colonial Revival/ Victorian as well. It does have the appearance and the hardware fits but I am not an expert at furniture so will leave it up to your discretion after reading description and viewing pictures. The table is 20" tall x 21 3/4" across x 12.5 deep, weighs approx 17-18 lbs. It has one drawer that pulls out from the bottom that has a flower carving on each side of it's drop pull. Drop pull and plate appear to be iron with pull itself having a pointed end with rough side surface and smooth faceted, roughly made, pointed tip(somewhat like an old handmade nail look) The drop pull is secured with a staple fastener. The drawer has the triangular cut dove tailing ... morebut odd in that the back side of the drawer's dovetailing is round, see pics. The back of the drawer are carve marked with"+L" The two sides are carved with medallions in a flower design. The legs are turned and the feet are an onion style bun feet, slightly flattened. The wood has the grain of Atlantic White Cedar but will admit I am not great at identification of various woods but when comparing some pictures it looked closest. It is in VG condition, one foot does have a crack in it, there is a small crack on the edge of one of the carved panels on the drawer, and the panel above the drawer where two side by side pieces of wood meet has a very slight space in between them. There is a small light scratch/ scuff here and there. Very nicely kept and cared for during it's 100+ years(as I don't believe it to date early then late 1800's, this I am rather sure of) I acquired this at an estate her in Charlotte where I also purchased an 1880's Minton piece which I recently sold. Antique DRAWER PULLS & ESCUTCHEONS - Architectural Salvage - NICE BIG LOT!
Whenever we see old antique knobs or hardware or drawer pulls we always try to rescue them! This is a miscellaneous lot of what we call Architectural Salvage. an assortment of drawer pulls and escutcheons. The big ovals in front measure 5-1/2 inches across and their two screw holes on the back measure 4-3/8 inches on center. Next there are 3 pretty"rosette" escutcheon pieces that measure 2-1/4 inches across. They have a little hole for attaching a drawer pull. There are 6 drawer pulls and 8 separate little round escutcheons and there is one odd dangle type pull that is pretty crusty and needs cleaned. It has an interesting design on it. Antique Ornate Victorian Cast Iron Drawer Bin Cup Pulls Matching set of 20
Set of 20 matching original antique bin pulls. Made of cast iron, these pulls are 4 1/8" wide with a 2 7/8" hole to hole center mounting. These were cleaned of old paint to restore the fine detail, some of the detail shows wear on some more than others. There are no breaks or cracks to any. These were ceramic bead blasted, and coated with wd-40 to prevent rusting until painted. You will need to clean with denatured alcohol or mineral spirits before painting. The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. It’s all farm stuff- household, barn, outbuildings, property- many items from the 1800s and up. Lot of old iron, barn digs, primitives and pretties- I’m so excited to show them to you! Enjoy! If you are looking for that ONE show stopping piece of hardware for your cabinet or dresser door or drawer- this one is for you! It's a large. 3/4 lb heavy antique pull in a gorgeous fancy shell shaped design. It's made from a white metal that a magnet does not stick to- and it ... morehas just tiny peeks of its original shiny silver finish(most is worn off) as well as what may have been a tan finish- it's hard to tell if it's paint, or dirt- see my photos(there's not a lot of it) making it easy for you to refinish, or to leave rustic and natural- either way, it's a beautiful pull. It measures 4 4/5" wide, 3" tall and 1 1/4" deep from the front of the pull to the very back. The space between the screw mount holes(center of hole to center of hole) is 3 3/4. Antique Standard Sewing Machine Front Swivel Pull Out Drawer and Frame
Here is a cool front drawer for an early Standard sewing machine. It has a very nice attached front wood carved decoration. Inside is a fairly deep almost 1" tool drawer still with its original needle to thread chart on the inside and 7 large circle to store spools of thread and 6 smaller holes to store needles? It is mounted in a 3 sided metal frame with 2 screws. The hole on the underside is where there is a straight slot screw that turns the knurled screw(seen on the top of the drawer) into a drilled hole to let the drawer swing out from under where it is mounted. This can be reused almost anywhere you can drill a starting hole for the screw and have at least about 3/4" thick top to mount it to. Very strong tiger striped oak and patina. Stayed at a fabulous B&B in South Dakota- made even more heaven by the fact that they also had an antique store on the property. I shopped in several other locations in both states and brought home some great primitives. Advertising, pottery, and all in all interesting finds. Before I left, I went to a new farm auction, and an estate auction- so I have a BUNCH of new items this week- I’ll be posting every day, so be sure to check back! Now. I have a customer that buys lion related items, and that's who I was thinking of when I saw this beauty- but anyone will truly appreciate it. What I have is an antique drawer pull in the shape of a lion's head with the round pull handle in his ... moremouth. It measures 2 1/16" tall in all, with the round pull being the widest at 1 3/8" wide/diameter. The ring is made of steel that once(appears to have) had a brass colored finish. The lion is made of a metal that a magnet does not stick to- it's either spelter with a brass finish, or brass, with a very dark patina. I truly can't tell wich for sure, but my gut is the first one. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition. There's a very dark patina, and light surface rust on the pull ring- very ligh. This one has loooots of character to spare. Two- section type case drawer: This antique printer's type drawer is great versitile display case for your treasures. It is divided into two horizontal sections now. But the notches are there to slide in vertical dividers wherever it suits your design needs. This is a large drawer 16 1/2" by 32 1/4" and about 1 1/2" deep. Framing boards are about 1 3/8" deep and 7/8" thick. This drawer will clean up to be a beauty. There is nothing like fine old wood. But the years and heavy use have also graced it with a character all its own so I leave it to the buyer to strip that away. This drawer is sturdy but dirty and very. Very rustic. It still smells a bit of printers ink and old. Old building. When my grandfather and father owned the paper a Linotype was used for most type while hand set type was still used for a few ads. Antique Industrial Wooden Letterpress Print Type Tray/Drawer Home Decor,Display
Here's a unique antique printer's type tray or drawer that would make a nice addition to an industrial or primitive antique decor. Use it as is or use it as a"shadowbox" to display small treasures. Miniatures and/or photos or, re-purpose it as part of a table top. It has strips of copper(or. Possibly brass) trimming the top of the horizontal-running dividers. This trim has a really nicely aged patina. The color of the metal and the fact that there are spots of green-colored oxidation on it lead me to believe that it is copper. The edge of the tray/drawer where the handle is located is covered in painted metal(as is the handle) The handle was designed so that a card/sturdy paper can be slid into it. I do not find a manufacturer's name or any other identifying information on it. It measures 27 inches x 30 inches and is ... moreapproximately 1 1/2" deep(at deepest point) It is being sold AS-IS in AS-FOUND condition with some dust. 4 Antique Ornate Metal Drawer Pulls-Pat Oct 1, 1872-Clean w/Mounting Screws-NR!
This is a set of 4 original. Antique drawer pulls in excellent condition. They were salvaged off and old wooden shop bench or work bench, and has numerous layers of paint on them. They were professionally and carefully cleaned and stripped down to the bare metal, and are ready to paint or use as is. I'm not sure of the metal and not sure if they are prone to rusting. There is no rust, and as I said, they are super clean. They also have all the original slotted mounting screws, and are marked on back Pat Oct 1, 1872. They are 2 3/4in. across measured from the centers of the holes, and 4in. across total. GREAT items to add to your collection or restoration project. 8 drawer handles from antique dresser made in empire style rustic farmhouse look to dresser tbese wood drawer pulls were glued nailed and attached with screws all but one screw included.none of the nails.
