The top plate is 4 ¾” wide x 6 ½” long. These casters are great for using in primitive furniture projects such as coffee tables and flower carts. These casters are very heavy. Only one swivel assembly fits in a large flat rate USPS box; one rigid assembly fits in a medium flat rate USPS box. Consequently. Four separate packages will be used for shipping. Lot includes 4 matching plus 2 matching antique brass cup/ swivel casters. One of the larger casters is locked up- both the swivel and the wheel. The larger ones have wheels that are just under 1 3/8" wide and 5/8" thick- the cups are 1 1/2" wide to the outside edges(inside is just under 1/4" wide and it tapers down) the cups are 1 1/4" tall. And the entire piece is about 2 3/4" tall. Here are 2 sets of 4 vintage casters. One lg. 1 sm. The large are 2" high and the wheels are 2" in diameter. The smalls are 1 5/8" high and the wheels are 1 1/4" in diameter. All 8 work fine, wheels all turn and they all spin around a complete 360 on ball bearings. Each has 4-hole hardware for attachment. Condition on all is very good, all 8 could use a light cleaning, I'm selling these right out of the garage I found them in. Wheels for Antique Dressers Washstands Tables Anything Requiring 4 Wood Casters
Here is a nice little set of replacement casters. Made just like the old ones which were on the antique oak dressers, washstands, and all sorts of furniture of the time. The little wooden wheels are 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter, and the stem is 1 and 1/2 inches long, and the caster sleeves are just under 1 and 1/4 inches long. Regarding the caster sleeves, some of you may not need to replace this part(which is usually in your favor) as long as the casters will fit firmly in your existing sleeves. You will receive 4 casters and 4 sleeves, as shown in the photographs. These are a nice way to replace old, damaged, rusty, or simply lost ones. Up for auction are these 6 antique furniture casters. The 4 smaller casters are not a set. Two match and the other two are the same size but have different bases and wheels. Three have metal wheels(brass) and they turn freely. The other smaller caster has a rubber type wheel. Looks like a replacement. They measure over 1 1/2 inches high(total) and the wheels diameter is about 3/4 of an inch. They need cleaning. The 2 porcelain wheeled casters measure about 2 1/4 inches high(total) The wheels measure about 1 inch in diameter. Included with these are the furniture metal inserts. Antique Cast Iron Cart Wheels 13-3/4" NICE Industrial Machine Age
Great SET OF 4 cast iron cart wheels. Though they are not marked Wheels measure 13-3/4" in diameter Edge/rim of wheel measures 2-1/2" Center hole is just a hair over 1-3/8" Wheels are quite heavy weighing 26 lbs. each- OVER 100lbs. In great condition no cracks/ some rough spots. Shown in the next to last photo is an area on one side of the wheel where there are some rough spots in the casting otherwise great set Would make great ornate wheels for an industrial style coffee table Thanks for looking.
