Lot includes 4 matching plus 2 matching antique brass cup/ swivel casters. One of the larger casters is locked up- both the swivel and the wheel. The larger ones have wheels that are just under 1 3/8" wide and 5/8" thick- the cups are 1 1/2" wide to the outside edges(inside is just under 1/4" wide and it tapers down) the cups are 1 1/4" tall. But as shown in the picture some have tarnished areas. I have a complete set of four ball and claw style feet for free standing bath tubs. These are very heavy cast iron. Each foot weighs about 3 pounds! Here are a couple of measurements for you: Height: About 6.5 inches Width at claw and ball: About 3 inches Width opposite claw: About 5 inches Length of tub mount: About 3.75 inches Length of tub slot in mount: About 2 inches As you can see in pic number 5. One of the feet has two metal pieces taped to the back. These are the only two present. I am assuming that they have something to do with the mounting of the pieces to the tub. I am not certain but someone obviously taped them on there for a reason. I do not think that the finish is original. It appears that they have been primed. 4 Antique Vintage Metal Tin & Brass Furniture Remnants Hardware Drawer Pulls
Up for auction are four matching metal antique Victorian era hardware furniture pulls recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice cartuche form and retains original screws in two of the four pieces. A cleaner pull is on one piece, but one with the original patina is included. This is what was found and all will be included to the winning bidder. The backing is tin and the pull is brass. The backings are approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Pulls extend approximately 2" from the backing. A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed on any steampunk style project. Antique Bronze Set of 4 Art Nouveau Furniture Feet/Legs
Interesting set of four bronze pieces that would act as the feet for a table(or other piece of furniture) leg. Not sure of a date of origin. But these appear to have some age on them. They're in good shape with minimal signs of wear and a nice patina. The feet measure approximately 4.5" tall, 1.75" deep, and 1.25" wide. The opening where a leg would be inserted is slightly less than an inch in diameter and there is a hole on the back for a screw to hold it in place. They are marked on back but we couldn't make it out so w e scraped some of the paint off on the back side and it looks like it reads 1874 not sure. see pic) They need a good cleaning and repainting. These were shipped to the U.S from Germany. Where they originated from before that I do not know. I found a very old looking nail in one of the other Salvaged pieces(not these) Based on that nail I would date these to late 1700's-1800's. Of course this is only my guess and I am no expert. The Casters are 5" in total length and the wheels are 2" in diameter. They are overall very clean and the wheels turn freely. These Casters are very old. There is crazing on the porcelain wheels. These ball and claw feet were removed from an antique. Likely Victorian era, table but are the right diameter for a chair or stool. They are heavy cast metal and clear glass. The white on our photo is flash reflection. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The cast claws are in beautiful condition, of course not as polished(gold color) as they once were but likely they can be professional polished or plated. They measure 4" tall from the bottom of the glass, i.e. the floor, to the top. The top openings are about 3/4" in diameter. Old Antique Solid Brass Claw Foot with 4 Toes, 2.5 inches Long, One Piece Only
If you are missing one of your claw feet on your table. Chair, etc. or if you have one that is damaged, here is an excellent replacement. It is definitely old and not a reproduction. Dimensions are 2.5 inches long by 1.8 inches wide by 1.5 inches high. The opening is 1.3 inches wide by 1.1 inches high. Weight is 50 grams. Condition is excellent.
