Charming old wardrobe trunk available to add to your collection of antiques! Since it is super heavy. Local Pickup only. UPDATE! We are willing to negotiate delivery within approximately 75 miles of our home! What's so cool about this wardrobe trunk is that it has features that so many of the other wardrobes you see don't have or they're missing! Also. It was restored approximately 20 years ago and is still in good condition. You may want to repaint or reline the trunk to make it your own, but you don't have to worry about a bunch of repairs because they were already done. For example, the metal trim was not brass and so it was painted. It could easily be repainted to suit your needs. As for the unique, original features, the trunk includes: a wooden ironing board, metal bracket for iron, a pull out holder for the ironing ... moreboard, 6 wooden hangers- one of which holds a cloth laundry bag, a removeable wooden box(holds shoes.lap desk? and 4 drawers- among other features. It's missing the outside lock and original leather handle(handle was replaced with a strong leather buckled handle) The key to the inside lock, the narrow flat bar that slides in front of the drawers, and some material behind the drawers. Some of the material is faded. The hinges and drawer pulls are secure and in functional condition except one outside latch(this doesn't prevent the trunk from closing tightly. The metal rods that hold the hangers extend out to hold the ironing board and are easy to slide in/out. All the drawers are lined with material and are in good/clean condition. The top drawer is divided into three compartments and is in good condition. The two middle drawers are in good condition too. The bottom drawer is deep and has a shallow pull out tray which exposes a cool feature. The feature is a sphere shaped cloth form that straps to the side of the drawer with leather. The original leather is still in place and functional. But somewhat brittle. My guess is that a hat could be pinned to the form to keep it saf

Amazing suitcase with stories to tell! I'm thinking the 30's or even 20's is the era this came from. Several stickers are peeling. Not crumbling easily off, but just little glimpses, remain. enough to make it very unusual. Hotel stickers from Mexico, Rome, Portugal, Italy, and Puerto Rico can be discerned. This might be good to refurbish with another layer or so of shellac, either the amber or just clear to keep images secure. Some water staining inside as shown. Comes with little key to lock. It is a traditional, free standing, sewing table measuring 24ins( 61 cms) high x 1 4 ins(36cms) wide x 12ins( 30 cms) deep. And is constructed with slightly tapering legs with a square sectioned top box having a drawer at the bottom and a hinged lid to the top. Internally it is lined with a mid-yellow satin material and has a small fitted tray at the back. Externally it is finished with the original, dark mahogany coloured, varnish with applied beading to various edges. It is in good condition. With no rot or worm, and the only flaws I can find are minor areas of rubbing to the extremities where the varnish has worn off. Very cool old"Steam Trunk" suitcase with CAMP O-TAHN-AGON Three Lakes. Wisconsin and Carolin Zilisch Menominee, Michigan printed nicely on the side. It's the first time I've seen a trunk with this kind of advertising, it's very unusual! It measures 30" x 16" x 12" deep and has the inner removable shelf. We have owned this trunk since the 1940's. But we got it used. Size 36" x 20" 21" Leather cover. We have stored our winter clothes in it for decades. Since we stored clothing inside. For your consideration is a small flat top miniature steamer salesman sample/doll trunk. This beautiful little trunk measures 9" x 5" X 5" It has been completely refinished to it's original look. This is a wood trunk with full metal covering. The trunk's exterior was cleaned. Painted and sealed. Hardware was cleaned and painted aged brass. It does not have a key. The interior was stripped of it's original paper then sanded. Stained and sealed. Added were new leather side handles, lithograph and new tray. THE 2 HOLES ARE A LITTLE OVER 3/4" DIAMETER AND IN A HEAVILY REINFORCED AREA ABOUT 1" THICK. THERE ARE 2 LEATHER STRAPS MISSING ON THE SIDE WITH THE LATCHES. A HANDLE WAS INSTALLED WITH WOOD SCREWS ON THE BACK ABOVE THE OAK TRIM LEAVING 4 HOLES 1/8" DIAMETER. THE FACE SHOWS AN INDENTATION BUT IT IS NOT AS BAD AS THE PHOTO SHOWS. THE METAL CORNER TRIM IS ALL THERE BUT ONE RIVET IS MISSING. SOME OF THE OAK HAS SEPARATED SLIGHTLY FROM THE CORNERS BUT ARE STILL INTACT. This antique Louis Vuitton steamer trunk most likely dates to the turn of the 20th century. I would guess the early 1900s based on my research. I do have an inquiry placed with Louis Vuitton to try to determine exact purchase date and price, which they say they may be able to supply me with. This trunk has some old water damage, as shown in photos, but is in very good condition overall considering. The original insert is here and the trunk opens and closes as it should. The trunk is clearly marked LV in many areas and has the original canvas strap, which is also clearly marked. The trunk is marked with a large, red H. This solid wood(pine) carpenter's trunk was made by a carpenter sometime in the 20th century. Carpenters would fashion themselves these trunks with which they could carry their tools. The interior of the lid has pieces to hold a hand saw. The exterior is painted a dark. Hunter green with expected wear and tear and some white paint splatter. The interior is unpainted. Measures 42 inches wide by 22 inches deep by 13 inches tall. This particular trunk is a very high end model. As it has leather edging, Rollers, and brass handles. Has all the usual signed places; lock, handles, wallpaper etc. Great partial interior label CONDITION: This trunk as seen some restoration; it has been reinforced with copper corner supports. There is also a patch on the right side bottom of the trunk. The leather edging is dry and flaking; in many areas the metal banding is exposed. The rest of the wallpaper is in surprisingly good condition overall. The interior tray and key are missing. And the right hand trunk hasp has been partially replaced. Here we go there is so much to say about this vintage Wheary Cushion Top Wardrobe which is fully fitted with key and in amazing condition for its age. The trunk is a dark green with beautiful hardware. I have included lots of photos so you can fully appreciate. It stands approx. 42" tall and 22" wide and 10" deep on each side. It has 5 drawers(1) 4" cushioned with side pockets. 3) 7" lined in Wheary fabric with ties and a large bottom drawer line in Wheary fabric that is 12" The fabric color is a light pink in the classic Wheary design with W's. The wardrobe side is lined in fabric with a fabric curtain that snaps back and has the original hangers and pant hangers. There is also a secret compartment on the bottom of the wardrobe. The fabric while aged is all there in all parts of the interior with no tears. ... moreRather than traditional handles the drawers have stylized clear"lucite" pulls. For your consideration is a ca 1900 flat top steamer trunk. I t has been fully refinished. The originally outside canvas covering was cleaned and repainted. The interior paper has been removed to show the beauty of the pine wood. All hardware is original and in excellent shape. The hinges and lid stay are strong and work properly. All hardware was cleaned and sealed. The lock does not have a key. The leather side handles are new. The bottom is clean. It has the original tray with new bottom. This is one BIG Vintage Trunk! It was made by Besbilt Trunk Company In Newark. N.J. USA Trunk No. 83117 It has a plate so if it were ever found you could contact the company and they would get in touch with whomever purchased/lost it. It measures 26" high x 40-1/2" wide x 24" deep. This trunk could be restored or used"as is" with all its character! Would be a great wide screen TV stand. End table or just hanging around for extra storage. I would say someone has added some paint to the outside. But it is rather industrial looking. The leather handles on both ends are missing. Hardware is in good condition. Corners are awesome! Sorry. No key. Hinges are nice and tight. Latches on the front work great. Inside has the usual wear and tear. But a lot of the fabric is intact. The bracket for the lid is not connected in the ... moremiddle any more. But that may be an easy fix. Inside tray is missing. There is a place on the lid where it looks like a bottle of paint dripped and a place on the front where there is a small split in the outer covering. Bottom is in surprisingly good condition. Paper lined wood inside. Has a removable shelf. Some of the paper is getting old and brittle, some missing along edges. Mostly there and in good condition. Clean but has an old odor in it.
