I know very little about this trunk. I found it in a foreclosure here in Vegas. It is ROUGH. I can send more pics if you need to see certain features. It was definitely a cool looking trunk when it was new. The bottom is the worst part. See pics. I am taking a stab at the price, so don't shoot me if it is too high. it is large and pretty heavy. Shipping might be possible but I am going to list this as local pickup. Picking it up would be a good Las Vegas vacation excuse. Vintage Wooden Trunk With Black Painted Metal Outer Shell
For sale is this Gorgeous Vintage Wooden Trunk Covered in a Metal Outer Shell. The outer shell is painted black. The trunk body is in very good condition. The bottom is not rusted and all of the wooden parts of the bottom are attached. There are only a few notable cosmetic issues. The paper on the inside of the trunk has some damage to it(there is staining and some tears) It is also missing the handles on the sides. I dont have the key for the front lock and neither did the previous owner. I assume that is the reason for the detached bottom plate of the lock from the trunk's body. The plate is present and the lock is fully assembled and in good cosmetic condition. If you're looking to use this piece decoratively. The key doesn't matter much anyway.
