Lot includes 4 matching plus 2 matching antique brass cup/ swivel casters. One of the larger casters is locked up- both the swivel and the wheel. The larger ones have wheels that are just under 1 3/8" wide and 5/8" thick- the cups are 1 1/2" wide to the outside edges(inside is just under 1/4" wide and it tapers down) the cups are 1 1/4" tall. And the entire piece is about 2 3/4" tall. Up for auction are four matching metal antique Victorian era hardware furniture pulls recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice cartuche form and retains original screws in two of the four pieces. A cleaner pull is on one piece, but one with the original patina is included. This is what was found and all will be included to the winning bidder. The backing is tin and the pull is brass. The backings are approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Pulls extend approximately 2" from the backing. A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed on any steampunk style project. Five Matching 19th C - Early 20th C Brass Ornaments, Furniture Embelishment
A nice set of five brass ornaments. Likely used as embellishments on fine furniture. They have a lovely silhouette and the front of each piece is attractively incised with a decorative meander; the backs are plain. Each piece is 2 3/8 inches long. And just under a half inch at the widest part. Two of these decorative pieces have a small ring through one of the nailing openings at the tapered end which can be removed. UP FOR BIDS Vintage Brass Swivel Furniture Casters Set Of Four Complete With Stems These vintage rolling swivel style brass casters are in good working condition and were used on our vintage upholstered chair. These casters worked great on our rugs but when we removed the rugs and refinished the floors. They were too hard and scratched the finish so we replaced them with a set of soft rubber casters. All are in good working condition and are solid, weighing 6 oz. each. The one caster stem is missing a side piece that locks under the lip but the remaining side piece will hold the caster in place. I would eventually replace it though. All show signs of cosmetic wear and will look nice once cleaned and polished. The last picture listed will show all four of the stems with the stem that is missing the side being the last stem in the pic.
