Antique Wood Furniture Part Made Into Wall Hat Rack
Listed is an antique furniture part made into a wall hat or coat rack. I purchased this item in this condition. It is probably a pediment from an antique bed or large dresser. It is made of oak wood with a Victorian design. Someone has placed 3 drawer pulls for the hangers. These pulls can be easily removed if you choose. The rack is 4 feet long and 8" wide. It is in good clean condition. If you choose to use it as a wall hanger you will need to install hooks for hanging to meet your need.

They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. This is a set of 4 new replacement wood furniture casters. The wheels are 1 5/8" in diameter. 3/4" width and the post is 1.5" long making the entire unit around 3.75" tall. Once you install this unit it will make you chair/furniture sit about 2 1/4" off the ground. I do not have mounting brackets for these units as the stem is a little wider than a standard unit so the auction is just for the wheels.

In a sandstone building that was built before the Civil War. The sale was the final liquidation of an antique store(they‘d had one previous auction- so much stuff, they had to have two) that used to operate out of this location- but the building has been closed, as well as the business, for over 20 years following the passing of the previous owners. Now, we’re talking two stories, an attic and a basement PACKED with antiques- it’s hard to imagine, and all of it just sitting for two decades. These folks had amassed a huge antique collection- many many items dating back to the early 1800s and before. There’s some gorgeous pieces of primitive Americana that I found. Antique Oak Carved wood furniture piece Nice Victorian
This is such a great salvage piece. It is a nice size.just the right size to create something wonderful.
