Condition: Used Location: Charleston, United States This listing is for a Antique Quarter-sawn Tiger Oak Victorian Glass Ball Claw Footed 2-Tier Parlor Table. This piece stands 30 inches tall~ approx 2 ... more1/2 feet. 22 3/4 inches across the top/ square. The bottom shelf. At the narrowest point, measures 15 inches across square. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. Local Pick Up is best for this large. Beautiful and well taken care of item. It worries me to ship it as I have seen very few table such as this. However. The way this is constructed, it appears it can be taken apart ~ legs removed and lower shelf removed, for possible shipping. Because of its size and weight. It may need to be shipped Freight~ atleast the top of the table, which I do not have an account or shipping association to do. I can check with UPS and see what would need to be done. This is certainly one of the best quartered oak carved washstands manufactured during the late 19th century. A fabulous piece that can be used as a dresser in a bedroom. In your living room or entry way, or? Please note the super carved crest in a rather organic motif. This piece was created with large oak stock and is quite substantial. Both the drawer and the two doors are serpentine with original brass pulls. A shaped and beveled mirror in very good condition. The piece is in very good condition with a couple minor veneer repairs on the surface and also some checking to the veneer-neither of these is significant-please see photos. An older refinish in very good condition with a smooth and even finish. Overall size of the washstand is 40 wide, 22 deep, and 85 high. Super extra high quality piece. This beautiful antique American quartersawn oak dresser has lovely carving across the top above the mirror and serpentine front two over two drawers below. It stands 81 inches tall and measures 44 inches wide by 22 inches front to back. The dresser travels easily in two pieces as the mirror top section is 48 inches tall and the base top surface is 33 inches tall. There are two smaller drawers across the top with two larger drawers below. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design. Disguised as a dresser. Beautiful tiger oak markings. Throughout. Item appears to have been refinished. At one time. The top front board has hinges. And when lifted, the complete front swings around, to expose the bar section. Item measures approximately 43 and 1/2 inches wide x 34 and 1/2 inches high.
