Antique Pine Dresser Bureau Handmade Primitive Needs TLC Pick up Only
My grandmother made furniture. Or rebuilt pieces from parts she found in thrift shops. She was born in 1886, came to this country when she was in her early 20's, died in her 90's. I was told by my mother(also gone) that my grandmother made this dresser in the 1940's. The dresser is approximately 38" wide. 18" deep 34" tall. Give or take here and there. I uploaded a lot of pictures so that you can get an idea of the many scratches and other signs of wear. One of the drawers has a hole in the bottom of it from a knot in the wood. The wood is very dry. There is wear around the pulls. The wood has a nice patina for the most part, but you can definitely see the age. The keyholes were not positioned perfectly(no, I don't know what happen to the keys. The backs are separating from the bottoms of two of the drawers. ... moreOne of the photos shows the inside of a drawer front where the keyhole was installed.you can see the cuts in the wood are not professionally made. Antique Pine Dresser with Swivel Original Mirror
This pine antique dresser is a nice piece. It has an attached swivel mirror that attaches to frame. And is in good condition. The two small draws on top and two larger draws below. The top left draw sticks a bit when opening and closing it. The pine is a beautiful golden color. There are a few stains on the bottom piece that runs across the back of the dresser. The dresser is 36.5” tall(from the floor to top of dresser) and 35" wide, with a depth of 20" front to back. Overall height from the floor to top of mirror frame is 62.5" The top 2 drawers are 13” deep x 14" wide while the bottom drawer is 13” deep x 28.25 wide. The mirror is 18.5" wide x 25 Height. Antique Pine Vanity Dresser Brown
Part of a moving sale. This has been in my family for 3 generations and needs a good loving home. I refinished this about 20 years ago with Polyurethane. There are some tiny scratches on the top that another coat would fix. The mirror frame was broke and repaired about 20 years ago. Beautiful piece and I hate to part with it.
