Antique Vintage Woodenware 4 Tier Lattice Planter Size Trelise Arbor wood
Up for auction is a vintage woodenware arbor trelise recently found at auction in the Lancaster County area. It is found in good used condition with its original gray finish but is missing vertical support. This is still quite sturdy and will be fine with most houseplants. It would have been used for a house plant or in a planter for training a plant. It is constructed on wood slats which measure approximately 3/8" x 3/8" in size. Small nails help hold it in place. It is pliable for manuevering while training your plant. It measures overall approximately8" x 12" A nice primitive for ivys or similar plants. It has a nice classic vintage horticulture look. This brochure is illustrated in color with photos and numbers for each item. Also included is a booklet titled Our Story and Prices with some information about Woodland Studios and prices for the items shown in the brochure. Traditional solid wood Lazy Susan serving bowl. I do not know how old it is. But it certainly doesn't seem to be modern. The top is attached to the foot by a long screw. So it can be turned many times without coming apart! The centre of the top is domed. As you can see, forming a smooth"groove" around the dome. 9 inches across. And just under 5 inches tall. There is a thin protective layer of cork on the base of the foot. To prevent damage to the table. This cork appears to be more recent than the bowl itself. Condition Fairly good. Serviceable condition- please see photographs It works very well- the screw turns nice and smoothly. Some scrapes and scratches. But no major damage. It needs revarnishing. Here's a great little bit of mid-century service ware. A twin bowl piece on a stand with a handle, crafted in wood by the old Kennedy Bros. of Vermont in their Woodenware line. This piece is 19 inches long and 8 inches tall. Each bowl measures 8 3/4 inches across and about 2 inches deep. The bowls are mounted on the stand with phillips head screws. The sticker on the bottom describes how to care for woodenware. It says the piece has the"best dishwasher finish available. but then recommends hand washing and no soaking. Cool. Vintage woodware has expected surface scratches and wear consistent with age and use. Some wear around holes on bottom for screws. Some wear and damage to the sticker on the bottom. A vintage British tie press. Circa 1920s This is an early Everitt's tie press. Marked PROV PAT(provisional patent) The patents for this design were granted in the mid-1920s. The accompanying Everitt's Tie Filler has a design number which was registered in 1910. A very useful piece of equipment for a traditionally-minded gentleman. Simple. Square lines, sturdy, and equally suitable for use at home, or when travelling. The tie filler is made of stout card. And was designed to be used with this tie press. The clamp works very well. And the press functions well, despite its age. The wood lies very flat. And is lovely and smooth. Note: I have included a tie in two of the pictures. Just to show how the tie filler works, and to give an idea of scale. This tie is NOT included with the item. Condition This is a good. A bit battered but still very much intact and his original toothpicks that fit all across his back. There are holes for his tail but no original toothpicks for that area. A fabulous vintage Lazy Susan made by Rio Grande Woodenware in the 1950s. Designed to resemble a desert flower. 7 Ceramic bowls. Rotating wooden table is 18 inches in diameter, is smooth turning on bearings, no damage, with some VERY minor storage marks. These were all hand-made and painted and the artist's initials can be found hidden in the design around the edge. Original sticker still on the bottom. These sold for nearly this much new in the 1950's. Study the pictures. This is a wonderful estate sale find!

Old Primitive salt box woodenware chippy paint
Super nice old salt box. The wood was a bit dry so I wiped it down with Milsek's which gave it a really nice look. Love that stuff! 10 3/4" high 5 3/4" wide and 4" deep I am going through boxes in my storage barn and finding more items all the time. I have collected for over 50 years and really need to start weeding things out. We are empty nesters. And love to travel, go to estate sales, consignment shops and antiquing. Antique Black Forest Style Barometer Chalet Wood Woodenware French (Canadian)
Up for auction is a vintage antique 1920's- 40's chalet form barometer recently found at auction in the suburban Phladelphia PA area. The barometer appears French. Unsigned, but all words in French, be it Continental or French Canadian. Constructed in a Black Forest manor, really well made, of wood. The windows and window boxes appear to be pressed wood. It sits flat or can hang on the wall with a hole on the back for hanging. It appears that one of the pediments on this house has been repaired with a rubber cement glue, which could certainly be cleaned up and reglued. It appears to be in good working order. Vintage biscuit barrel + liner segmented wood old chunky Treen turned woodenware
A chunky segmented turned wood biscuit barrel. Made of vertical sections of different sorts of wood. It has clearly had many decades of family use. I do not know for certain how old it is. But I would guess that it dates from around the 1950s. It is scuffed. Scratched and it certainly looks its age. Complete with plastic inner"liner" There is no maker's name on this item- just the remains of a sticker on the inside of the lid. As you can see. Plastic"pine cone" knob on the lid. The main handle is made of metal- it is a little out of shape. As you can see. Note: I have photographed the barrel with some fruit. Just to give an idea of size; the fruit is obviously not included in the sale! Size: 5 1/2 inches(14 cm) tall(including the lid. But NOT the handle) Condition: Good condition. Antique Woodenware Decorative Arts Empire Era Footed Bureau Box
Up for auction is an antique woodenware empire bureau box recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. In its day, these boxes were sitting on a dresser for storage. It is found in fair to good used condition. Made of veneered mahogany over a pine base. The biggest condition issues include a loss at the end of the top, best seen in photo#3-5. Please see the photos for details. They are several scratches and stains on this piece as well. A crack is on the cover as well. It could have been constructed this way. This crack is best seen in photos#2 and 6. It sits on four bun style feet and could benefit from a good overall cleaning. This vintage bowl and plate set. Are a great find. The bowl measures 8" across(including handles) and is 3 1/2" tall. The plate is a little over 6" wide. Vintage Primitive Folk Art Hand Made Painted Woodenware Duck Bookends
Up for auction is a vintage antique folk art woodenware decorative book ends recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is made of wood, is hand painted and features a young duck on bases. One has a head up, while the other has its head down. Overall, they measures approximately 7" x 3 1/4" x 5 3/4" in size. There is a few losses. The bookend with the head down has a minor loss to the tail. There is some crazing in the paint as well. Primary colors are yellow and black. Please see the photos for details.
