Campagnolo Crate Strapping Seal, Vicenza, Italy, Vintage, Ultra Rare.
Campagnolo. The most iconic name in cycling history. Back in the 1970's as Campagnolo was establishing a presence in the USA they would ship crates of componentry across the ocean from Vicenza. Italy to their USA office in Houston, Texas. These crates would come strapped with steel bands and every band was crimp sealed from the Campagnolo factory with special Campagnolo embossed seals. For years these steel straps hit the trash. I was recently cleaning out a box that had relocated from the Houston Campagnolo office and I found two of these straps(I am auctioning off one of them) I don't know who had the forethought to realize that these were pretty special pieces of Campagnolo history but I have never seen one prior to coming across these and I seriously doubt that I will ever see another. This one is a Crate Electa, I do not see these around to often, and they are often over looked, but dont let that fool you it soundss and plays great. I do like how this one sounds, and the overdrive distortion is heavy. I just put New Strings on it, but it will need to be tuned when you receive it, cause I always loosen all the strings for traveling, storage or shipping. Has several great tones. Bright, Brown and when volume knob up high it has heavy Metal Distortion. Also it has really nice sustain. Everything works The guitar has a beautiful glossy sunburst finish. The neck is striaght. The fret board should be oiled again when you get it was a litle dry when I pulled out. There are a couple dents and a small chip, and a few scratches as pictured. Up for auction is a Crate Vintage Club 30 combo amp model VC3112 with a single 12” Crate E12 8 ohm speaker. In excellent like new condition. The black Tolex is spotless with no tears or scratches, the speaker cloth has no tears or pulls, all the electronics and reverb work perfectly. Made in the USA and recently serviced and modified by Chrome Dome Audio(Sharonville, Ohio) in January of 2013(invoice pictured in ad and will be sent along with the amp) Numerous solder joints were reflowed, the input jack signal path was corrected and 4 new JJ EL84 power tubes were installed in place of the stock EL84s. With these JJs you can get a nasty over driven sound without having to crank it up very much. I have owned solid state and tube amps of the same and slightly higher wattage(30-50) but none has been as loud as this amp. Vintage Wooden Cranberry Box crate Ocean Spray 1962 MA Cape Cod bog
I am putting up for sale this A ntique 1/3 Barrel Wooden Cranberry Box/ Crate with the words Ocean Spray 1962" printed on each end of the box in black ink or paint. These types of boxes were used to hold 1/3 of a barrel(33 pounds) of freshly picked cranberries during harvest season back in the day and were not used for shipping. This same size and type of box is still used to this day although some people perfer to use burlap bags when dry picking their cranberries because it's less labor intensive. It measures about 23" long x 16" wide x 9" tall O.D. This box is in fair but solid condition. Fair" because someone at one time had repaired the box by replacing the broken slats of wood with newer wood in various places on the box. Also it has some nicks. Chips& scrapes& it's weathered from age as can ... morebe seen in the pictures. I have reduced the price of this box because of it's defects. Please read the following paragraph carefully before making carefully before making your purchase: Please keep in mind that these boxes are pretty old and they have been abused over the years by hard working cranberry growers during the harvest season so they are not in the best of shape-some are better than others and vise or visa. Before we(my brother& I) send out these boxes-we make sure the ends. Sides and bottoms are intact, do any nessasary repairs and clean out the old dust hidden in the cracks with an air compressor-then package them very carefully and send them off to the customer. This is the reason that our handling time is more than one day. Some of the boxes have defects due to the events that may have taken place in the box's history. If we were to replace the minor defects with new wooden pieces-these boxes would be considered 3/4 antique and 1/4 new thus taking the value down. Up for auction is a nice lot of 2 vintage original Brass Shipping Crate Stencils measuring approximately 17" x.2.5" NEAR BROAD ST. ENTRANCE TO ROGER WILLIAMS PARK) 15.5" X 3.25" 90 ALDRICH ST. The Aldich Street Stencil has been well utilized& retains some nice old paint from applications. The Boad St. Stencil appears to have been used little. Condition of both is very good- these have folded edges& are of good quality. Both have manufacturers marks near the hanging hole indicating they were made by AA White Co. 114? Westminster St. Providence R.I. These would make a nice addition to a collection or cool decorator/ conversation/ accent pieces. This speaker is a clone of a Vintage 30 Celestion and it sounds great. I have a cab with real Vintage 30s and they sound almost identical to this speaker. This amp packs a punch. Excellent Vintage Crate PLACERVILLE FRUIT GROWERS ASS'N wooden label intact
Vintage-Antique Placerville Pony Express Bartlett Pears Placerville Fruit Growers Assn. Crate- El Dorado County. CA This crate was owned by my Grandma Stewart in South Sioux City. NE. many years ago. A single parent who raised my mother through the depression(after Grandpa died) she had a large, locked shed that was kinda"magical" with its musty smell, cool old stuff, and(with two locked doors) was alway"intriguing" When she died back in the 70's, Dad and Mom cleaned out the shed and somehow this made its way into our basement. Among many things Dad gave me, he gave me this to sell or do as I pleased(he was trying to clean out the basement, I think. What I know: the crate measures 19.5" x 13" x 9" my answer to a question didn't come through at end) all boards are there and none are loose- the painting ... moreon the back looks almost as if it was"impressed" into the wood. But not deeply. Since I don't know how they did this back in the 50's or before, that is a subjective observation and I may not know what I'm talking about. the label is not peeling. Has a few chips, and is cracked along the seam because a wooden box expands and contracts. I don't consider it a defect and its part of the"heritage" or patina of the box. As to the label itself, please study the photos. I attribute that to good American craftsmanship and the box(once in my Grandma's possession) always kept in the shed or down in my Dad's basement.both non-smoking areas. I presume these to be the original nails and boards because there is no evidence of anyone gouging wood trying to pull the nail or any head movement. WHAT I DON'T KNOW: the actual date of manufacturer or usage of the box. I've seen online people saying the labels themselves are from the 30's.the 40's.the 50's. I really don't know and Grandma is gone. I didn't find much info other than the warehouse burned down in the 1970's.but I remember this in Grandma's shed in the 1

I am putting up for sale this Antique 1/3 Barrel Wooden Cranberry Box/ Crate with the last name"Wainio" printed on each end of the box in black ink or paint. These types of boxes were used to hold 1/3 of a barrel(33 pounds) of freshly picked cranberries during harvest season back in the day and were not used for shipping. This same size and type of box is still used to this day although some people perfer to use burlap bags when dry picking their cranberries because it's less labor intensive. It measures about 23" long x 16" wide x 9" tall O.D. This box is in fair but solid condition. Fair" because there are various places on the box which are damaged. Also it has some nicks. Chips& scrapes& it's weathered from age-all of which can be seen in the pictures. Please read the following paragraph carefully ... morebefore making carefully before making your purchase: Please keep in mind that these boxes are pretty old and they have been abused over the years by hard working cranberry growers during the harvest season so they are not in the best of shape-some are better than others and vise or visa. Before we(my brother& I) send out these boxes-we make sure the ends. Sides and bottoms are intact, do any nessasary repairs and clean out the old dust hidden in the cracks with an air compressor-then package them very carefully and send them off to the customer. This is the reason that our handling time is more than one day. We have sold hundreds of these particular boxes and most people are very pleased with them. Then there are the very few who want perfection-please don't expect it from these very old cranberry boxes. This box has many creative and decorative uses including shelving. End table, display cases, bookcases, holding potted plants or fire wood and much more for that old New England/ Cape Cod look. Antique Wood Egg Crate for a Gross(12 dozen) 144) Eggs. Chicken Hen House on Farm to Market Original Pressed Cardboard Dividers Is Vintage Free shipping included in the Buy It Now price! This FARM EGG CRATE is as complete as seen on E Bay today! I will say it is UNIQUE. Eggs collected in the hen house were gathered each morning and cleaned up. Then packed in this type of egg crate. Each layer holds two dozen eggs and there are 6 layers. For a total of 12 dozen or 144 eggs(one gross of eggs or a dozen dozen eggs. A common term in farm to market goods) The wood, type not known but likely a soft wood, like cottonwood, available nearly everywhere, was cut into small slats and and a wire at each corner with some keenly placed nails held it all together. It had to be sturdy to protect the eggs! And these carriers were! Pressed light weight pulp ... morepaper formed to shape to hold the ends of the tops and bottoms of the eggs between layers and light carton dividers to separate the two dozen eggs on each layer really did protect the eggs. Image the gravel and dirt roads. Flat tires very common in the 1920's to 1950's! Roads were rough and trucks bounced often. We lifted the lid off carefully(slide top to one side to clear the opposite edge, then tilt up and out) and took out the dividers and layers. They show use and some dirt but no rats, gold nuggets, etc. were found. The pressed paper layers were in very good condition for an estimated 60 to 90 years of age(hope I do as well) A couple tears in horizontal dividers were noted but these are hard to see and hopefully, the buyer will respect old age! Most compatible crates had no dividers at all! We did not try to clean anything due to this respect for its age and still in tact! But we judge it a danny!Chickens laid eggs or were dinner the next day! The farmer sold or traded directly with the little country, town and city markets. But stickers indicate Camp Osceola BSA which is a Boy Scout Camp. Based on the hinges and look of the box. It has to be circa 1950's or 1960's. Inside the box has circular outlines of what could been originally used ammunition or bombs at one time and was transformed for another purpose This is a camp box for camping at the H Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. In Osceola, Mo. in the early days the first camp was named Camp Osceola but has since expanded and changed, now three camps, Lone Star, Sawmill and Piercing Arrow. Was found in the old Timpsom. TX light plant. I have no idea how old this crate is. It is less from age snd exposure, however its a great piece. When I found it I cleaned as much of the old oil and grease off the end as I could. The brace on the right side of the lid has come loose and lays inside the crate. The crate is about 17"X9"X7"

Front, and inside of the lid white and there are signs of storage(moisture) discoloration.this does not affect the sturdiness of the box. The latch is still in tact but does not seem to catch.
