Antique German Black Forest Hunter-style Cuckoo Clock~ Late 1800's - Early1900's
Beautiful large(24" x 16" x 6.5" Black Forest Hunter Style Cuckoo Clock. Dark wood tone, very nice patina. Nailed numerals look to be original to this clock. The hands are not(we replaced the broken bone hands with reproduction hands) The numerals and the 5" dial are in excellent condition. The carvings(Including the deer's amazing antlers) are wonderful and distinct. And look to be original and complete. NO signs of breaks or repairs that we can see. There is a small age split on the rear corner of the roof tile. It has not been repaired and is hard to see. It's not visible at all when the clock is up on the wall. On your wall this clock will look beautiful and present and dramatic profile when viewed from the side. The old. Wooden cuckoo bird looks to be original to this piece, with it's original paint. Lovely Small Hunter Style Black Forest German Cuckoo Clock
Up for auction. We have a restored small one day Black Forest German Hunter cuckoo clock. Decorated with hand carved leaves, birds, a rabbit, a pheasant, and a satchel, it's a very pretty clock! The carvings are just exquisite! It is complete with chains, weights, and a pendulum. We cleaned and oiled the movement, adjusted the gong, cleaned the chains, and tested it for several weeks in our home. It now has a new lease on life; looks beautiful and runs and cuckoos perfectly on the hour and half hour. It has a one day Regula movement. There are no markings on the clock, so we can't tell you who the manufacturer is, but it doesn't look very old and has a date stamped in the back that is faint, but appears to be something in the 2000 range. The dimensions are 10 1/2" X 6 1/2" X 6" including the crown. It would make ... morea wonderful addition to any cuckoo clock collection. This is an old clock. I was told its not antique form a fellow on ebay, but he wasnt certain of the time period exactly. The clock was on a wall since I was a kid( im in my 30's) It is German Black Forest made GK(Gebruder Kuner) Quail Hunter Cuckoo Clockwith a Beautiful Bird and squirrel. There are also antlers and other carved designs. This comes from my grandmothers house so I dont know exactly what it is. Its an 8 day clock and it has worked for as long as I can remember. It has been sitting in storage for about a year and hasnt run since than. This clock is a beautiful antique and very rare to find one in such nice condition and made of solid wood and has great carving detail on the bird and leaves along with its rich natural colors of beauty. The cuckoo bird works and has a very classic sound, its quite wonderful and a very nice ... moremovement on the bird and its sound, very southing and beautiful. Bird Hunter - German - Black Forest - wooden hand carved
This is a wonderful and beautiful wood carving from Germany. It is a classic German bird Hunter. He has a small double shotgun in his right hand and a loose staff in his left hand. He has a rather large size bird strapped to his back with the wings of the bird spread out nicely. This is a rare find and definitely hard to get a hold of. It's in excelent condition. It measures 33" High.17" Wide.13" Deep. It weighs 20 lbs. It is made of solid. And beautifully colored, wood. This is a special piece of wood carving and would enhance any collector's gallery. You won't see many like this anywhere on the internet. XL VINTAGE GERMAN BLACK FOREST HUNTER STAGG MUSICAL CUCKOO CLOCK
This is a beautiful Black Forest hunter cuckoo clock. It is probably an 8 day clock but I am not sure. It has two doors. One with a cuckooo bird and one with a sitting man. When his door opens it plays the Weigenlied Brahms(lulluby and goodnight) The clock keeps very good time but the cuckoos don't engage. When the little man is opened manually he comes out and the song plays then he goes in and door closes. The cucko engages when the string is pulled. The clock is disassembled for storage and shipping. The dial has some shiney spots where the numbers were glued on. One antler shows it's been glued. The back side of the carved hunting frame also shows signs of repair. The beautiful blonde wood was beautifully carved. The works were made in Germany- US Zone which dates it 1945-1949. The clock measures 11" tall and 7" wide ... morewithout the frame on it. With antlers and hunter's sack it's 22" tall. NICE OLD WORKING GERMAN BLACK FOREST CARVED WOOD HUNTER CUCKOO CLOCK CIRCA 1950!

Be sure to have a look at our other items! This is an outstanding find of a very nice. Working, handcarved, hunter cuckoo clock that was created about 60 or so years ago in the Black Forest of Germany. It is a very old clock with remarkable blended walnut finish. The clock is made entirely of cured and aged Linden wood that is grown almost exclusively at certain altitudes of the Black Forest. The case is adorned with six carved wood oak leaves on the front and another is found on the wooden pendulum. The carvings are exceptional, deep, intricate, and wavy. There is a large carved wooden game bird to the right of the ... moredial and an equally impressive carved wooden rabbit to the left. There is a game bag near the bottom of the case in front with a carved shot gun alongside it and a large deer head at the top complete with antlers. I don't think the deer or antlers are wood but they sure look real. The dial has a back backdrop and features raised white Roman numerals to mark the hours and fancy matching hands to point out the time. There is a hinged wooden door on the right side of the case that secures quite well yet opens easily to allow access to fine tuning the cuckoo mechanism should adjustments ever become necessary. The clock has a fitted wood back and latches securely. It easily removes to allow access to the weight driven, old rack style mechanical movement inside the case. A weight driven movement simply means that the chains need to be pulled occasionally to wind the clock and cuckoo activity. The wooden bellow tubes are in good shape and the tops work and sound good too. At the bottom of each hour, a colorful bird opens the small door above the dial and stands in the doorway. He gives off a single cuckoo sound in tandem with a nice sounding chime inside the case before retreating

This item up for bid is a BEAUTIFUL EARLY 1950'S GERMAN MADE 1 DAY(30 HR) HUNTER STYLE CUCKOO CLOCK with a stag(deer) on the top with TWO LOVE BIRDS. I think it was made in the Black Forest according to other pictures I have seen but not sure of that. This clock has been gone over by a clock person and is in great working condition and keeps good time. As you can see in the pictures there is some damage to two of the flowers and damage on the top right hand side by the stag. However this would still make a great addition to your collection.The clock cuckoos on the hr and birds kiss on the 1/2 hour. Vintage Black Forest Hunter Cuckoo Clock German Stag/Rabbit/Quail/Guns regula
Here is an old circa 1950's Cuckoo Clock. The movement is Regula but I do not see a maker of the clock itself. It measures about 15" tall for the main body + the length of the weights. Parts that are loose from the clock but can easily glued or re-nailed to the lock include: the horn of the bell. The rabbit, the quail(one of the wings has cracked off and needs glueing too) the left roof piece(has a 2" crack on the edge of the roof) and the stag only has one side of its rack left, the other is missing and there was quite a bit of glue residue on the stags head from the rack being repaired. The hour hand on the clock is included but is in 3 parts and we recommend a new hand. Sounds bad overall but with a little TLC this will be a $350 clock easily. This is a unique used Black Forest Hunter style cuckoo clock in good condition( bellows are intact) but is non working due to chains being pulled into clock works. I am not familiar as to tecnique used to reset chains and get mechanism working. The mechanism is stamped with 25-29 and made in West Germany. The face of the case includes a rabbet and bird figures and a stags head on the top. It measures 16 inches tall( not including weights and pendulum) by 11.75 wide and 5.5 inches wide. Today. I have for auction, a vintage 8 Day, Cuckoo Clock, made in West Germany. It is a Hunter Clock, that comes with two weights, and pendulum. I am offering it for repair since it does not keep time. It does cuckoo on the hour and half hour. There is a small piece of wood missing where the guns and antler attaches. The only other damage is that the top piece is missing one of the brackets to hold it to the edge of the clock. The movement is marked Regula, and E. Schmeckenbecher. OLD 1954 WORKING BLACK FOREST 8 DAY SCHATZ GERMAN HUNTER CUCKOO CLOCK ORIG. BOX
Bidding on a handcarved. Working, 8 day cuckoo clock that was created in the Black Forest of Triberg, Germany" about 60 years ago and signed on the movement and wooden door in front"Schatz 8 day" The clock is complete and shows little wear and comes with its original shipping crate. This clock is hand carved from thick. Cured and aged Linden wood which has been the choice of Black Forest carvers since the early 1870's. There is a large deer head at the very top complete with antlers. I don't know if the deers ears are both original as they are not identical. The detail is extraordinary! The wooden dial features raised white Roman numerals to mark the hours and fancy matching hands to point out the time. The name"Schatz" and the phrase. 8 Day" appear on the small wooden door above the dial in their familiar ... morelogo signature in brass metal calligraphic script. The clock has a fitted wood back and latches securely. The door easily removes to allow access to the weight driven mechanical movement inside the case signed by Schatz. The original wooden crate has its original customs label and cardboard insert. The early clock has tiny white paint specs on one side of the clocks roof.

But I don't believe it is broken. Nothing looks bent or broke. When I found it the chain that works the music box and the other door was completely off. Which pops out of his door every half-hour; he cuckoos once on the half-hour and counts the hours on the hour. Prior to his familiar“cuckoo” song, the clock chimes on a gong. When the cuckoo sings, the bird bobs up and down, then goes back in and slams the door! Also you can see the carved maple leaf pendulum swing with each passing second. There are lots of large carvings. Complete with leaves, rabbit, pheasant, crossed rifles and a deer head on the front. These carvings make up the“Hunter” style cuckoo clock. The dial is in excellent condition with original numbers and signed Germany. The gong is original. As is the entire clock. It includes the colored leaf pendulum. Also included are the two weights to the clock. You can adjust the time to slow and fast from the pendulum. The signed(Bachmaier and Klemmer) movement is in perfect condition and has just been cleaned. Oiled and checked for proper operation. The clock looks to be all-original. This amazing clock was hand-carved in the Black Forest region of West Germany. This is a hunting style clock with carvings detailing"the hunt" At the top of the clock above a pair of rifles. Sits the deer head with large antlers. On one side of the clock is a squirrel and on the other side, a pheasant. I believe all the animals have glass eyes. At the bottom of the dial is the classic hunter's horn. The clock has a German Regula 8-day Pendell 23.5 cm movement along with a Gueissaz-Jaccard music movement. At the quarter of each hour, a brightly colored bird opens a window and emerges to sing a single cuckoo, then on each hour, the bird emerges once again and cuckoo's the ... morecorrect number of times for the hour. As the bird cuckoos the hour, the dancers rotate on a revolving platform to two tunes, Dr. Zhivago" and"Edelweiss" This is a fairly large clock measuring nearly 19" tall from the tip of the antlers to the bottom. It is 12" across at its widest point and is 6-1/8" deep. The clock dial has a black face with raised white Roman numerals. The pendulum is a chalet style and attaches very easily to the clock. There is a wooden panel in the back of the clock for access to the movement. This is a 8-day weight driven clock which simply means that the chains need to be pulled occasionally so that the weights are up for the clock to operate. As the clock runs. The weights drop. There are three 1620 gram weights with this clock and three sets of chains. Now for the CONDITION of this amazing cuckoo clock. First. It keeps PERFECT time. It has been very accurate and does not appear to be either losing or gaining time. All the functions work just as they were designed. The pictures are deceiving regarding the size of this clock. This is the large 41" bottom to top of atlers) Hunter Theme" case. Measures 26" wide. It dates to about 1910-20. It is the 2 weight brass harp movement. The movement is not marked but is original to the clock. The movement has been serviced and the cuckoo bellows rebuilt. The clock keeps excellent time and cuckoos loud 1/2 hr. and hour! The hour strike is a coiled spring on mounted on the backboard. I purchased this clock from the original family who have owned it for a longtime. I have had this clock hanging in my workshop at about 6' high on the wall and pull the weights up everyday. The clock retains the original finish and is in excellent condition. ALMOST 2 FEET HIGH VINTAGE W. GERMANY BLACK FOREST CUCKOO CLOCK HUNTER CASE
800x600 This very large clock measures approximately 23 ½” from the top of the antlers to the bottom of the case and represents the"Hunter Theme" case. Made in West Germany. In width, it measures 14 1/2" wide and is 11” in depth. Both the case and the movement match with the etching“K11723F” It uses the 2 weight, large acorn weights. The movement is not marked but is original to the clock. This clock has been packed away for 3 years. However worked fine last commissioned and the bellows are original and excellent as are all of the doors and latches. The hour strike is a coiled spring on mounted on the backboard. The clock was serviced some time ago as there is an old Thompson’s Clock Manor. Kansas City decal on the back. The clock retains the original finish and the buck has glass eyes. On the left side of the front hangs ... morea large upside-down carved bird and on the right. An upside-down large carved rabbit. On the center bottom is a carved satchel and rifle. The pendulum features a large carved leaf. The deer crest will be removed for safe shipping(a couple original-to-this-clock hooks will secure it once you are ready to install(and an added dab of glue will permanently affix) There is an old repair to one of the antlers but is presentable and I want to mention that it is also glued into the socket—the other antler will slip out of the socket for safe shipping. Be sure to be extra careful when removing all of the bubble wrap so that you do not disturb the carvings. The clock has a wood dial/face with white hands and Roman numerals. The clock works but it is missing the pendulum and weights(easily found on ebay) The horn above the game sack and the back door. I manually tested the clock and it cuckoos on the half hour and hour at which time it also does a full count. The clock measures approximately 25" tall from the top of the antlers to the bottom of the pouch x 15” across at its widest point x 10 1/2" deep. The hand carvings on this clock were done with exquisite detail! Both the hare and pheasant have intricate carvings and measure 11” long and each eye appears to be glass. The face of the clock has a 4” diameter and is in perfect condition. Clearly marked W. Germany. ... moreThe Roman Numerals and hands of the clock are in excellent condition. There are no bends to the hands. The cuckoo, complete with full tail comes out the door when opened. On the top of the clock is the deer head with glass eyes centered on 4 large leaves framed by two large crossed rifles each measuring 11" long. The head dress is wood. The antlers are plastic and two of the very top of the tips are off. Near the bottom of this magnificent clock is the hunting or powder bag that measures 5” tall x 4 1/2” across. The chains are very clean and intact with no kinks having 48 links to a foot of chain. This clock. Even with the few missing parts is just a beauty! As you can see from the pictures, the interior of the clock is very clean. Marked on the mechanism is“the number 3471 Regula, Made in Germany, G.M. 1649JJJ and 1674539, 1704375 and 1705294, E. This is an Antique German Black Forest Quail Hunter Cuckoo Clock from the early 1900's with a Beautiful Stagg Head top. Here is a attractive older hunter theme wooden hanging wall clock which keeps good time and requires resetting the weights each day. This is an uniquely-designed. Full featured cuckoo clock that was produced many years ago in the Black Forest in what was then"West Germany" It features a hunters bag, hanging bird and rabbit and guns across the top. The deer head at the top has damage and is missing the antlers. Both the chimes and music box weights require a bit of assistance to get going(if I pull down slightly on each weight. The is a Rabbit and a Pheasant standing on each side of the Wooden Clock Dial Face. Clock has Wooden Clock Hands. There are 2 Guns. Oak Leaves and Acorns with a Game Bag at the bottom. Vintage Black Forest Cuckoo Clock The body of this clock is in pretty good condition overall. But it needs a bit of TLC. It is dusty and I didn't really try cleaning is because I don't want to break it! One point of one of the deer's antlers is broken off, but other that that, I don't notice any broken aesthetic pieces. Also, these pieces are all included, but are not attached. They just need to be tacked on. I really don't know anything about the mechanism of the clock, but the bellows look like they are in decent condition and when you move them around, they do make noise. So, I have doubles and even triples of the same clock that I no longer want or need. I will be listing a few dozen of these clocks as I received them, some need work, some don't. This clock is signed and id is stamped on movement(Bachmaier& Klemmer) I test ran for a week and it keeps perfect time and looks as if it was recently restored to full working order with new bellows and chains, cleaning, oiling. It's your typical hunter theme clock with finely detailed carvings, Deer head w antlers as a crown centerpiece along with a hare and ... morepheasant to the left and right flanking the dial, along with the hunters pouch at the bottom. The clock has a regula 34 movement. The clock also has new bellow tops and new hands. The front face says West Germany. When I got this clock I was looking for another case but parts for this clock are expensive so I am selling for someone else to fix. I have got the hard work done which is the clock keeps good time.Sounds good and looks good when it is on the wall. The clock is 11 inches tall. 7 1/2 inches wide 4 1/2 inches deep. Large 8 Day Light Brown Black Forest Hunter Cuckoo Clock
This is a really sharp looking 8 day cuckoo clock that was made in the Black Forest of Germany during the 1960's. It is deeply carved and highly detailed. Also. All three animals have glass, or at least glass simulated eyes. The case is in very nice condition. It has a natural to light golden brown finish which is extremely attractive. The movement is in good running condition and cuckooing properly. It is a standard 8 day Regula movement that has been cleaned. It has the original bellows tops that appear in good condition. I left them on incase the new owner would like to have it with these original tops. However. If you buy this clock and would like to have new bellows tops installed for longevities sake, I will gladly replace them for you at no extra charge. As mentioned. This is a large clock, measuring 22" from the antler tips ... moreto the bottom of the game bag, NOT counting the huge weights or pendulum, and 14 1/8" across the top piece. Vintage Restored Hunter Style German Black Forest Cuckoo Clock - Lovely! Works!
Up for auction. We have a restored one day German Black Forest hunter style cuckoo clock. Manufacturer unknown, it's a very pretty clock with lots of woods details; a wooden stag head(the antlers are plastic, but don't look it) with leaves, a pheasant and hare with glass eyes, and a hunter's horn and satchel. We oiled the Regula movement. Oiled the case, adjusted the gong, cleaned the chains, and tested it for several weeks in our home. It runs and cuckoos perfectly. The clock is complete with chains. Two pine cone weights, and a pendulum. It now has a new lease on life; looks beautiful. And keeps excellent time. The dimensions are 15" X 8" X 7" Including the crown.
