I have for sale a Hawian print skim board. I don't know the exact maker. I've never seen one done in this exact style. This board looks awesome and I think it would look really cool hanging on the wall too. The board is completely functional and can be used for skim board surfing. It's a lot of fun. Authentic Australian Didgeridoo Hand Painted, Signed and Dated 1989
I bought this Didgeridoo directly from the Aboriginal man who made and painted it in a Aboriginal Community in Northern Australia. Near Cookstown. It is signed Conrad MicHael, 1989. There might be a tiny J in front of MicHael. It is beautifully painted with what looks like a crocodile on one side and a large bird on the other side. It measures about 36 1/2" long with the holes measure about 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" None of us can play a didgeridoo, so we have no idea of what key it is. It has always been in a smoke free home. I do not know what the wood is, it wighes about 3+ pounds on my bathroom scale. Unless someone wants to pick it up, I will take it to Fed-X or UPS and let them make a box for it. And only find similar items listed as Chinese. the vase is@ 9.25" tall. the landscape scene surrounds the entire vase, and the detail is extremely fine and raised in places. the only defect that I find, is that the bottom has been cut out. I would imagine this was done in order to convert it to a lamp? This is an original Consolidated Art glass chandelier shade. The bottom of the shade(bowl) measures 12 inches across and 5 inches deep. There are only little flea bites to the glass they are hard to see in the pictures. There is one bubble in the glass on the outside. The applied paint finish is good with only very minor variations. This is a beautiful smaller Victorian cabin et plate with a mark I don't recognize right off. I'm assuming it's Europea n. It has a print of leaves and flowers with hand painted gold highlights. On the wheat flower and the bugs. Also three birds in flight. Signed with a 4 digit number and embossed with another number, and the maker's mark is 2 hammers? and a crown with ribbons. It is very fine porcelain. Has NO damage. Was basically used for display. Measures 8" in diameter. This MIGHT have been part of an elaborate dinnerware set, I'm not sure. A wonderful set of Egyptian Revival cast iron painted bookends from circa 1925. They have a Hubley style. But they are not marked, so I do not know if they were made by this maker. The worn paint appears to be original. Each base measures about 5 3/4" by 2 1/4" and they stand about 5 1/4" high. Again, could not find any marks or signatures.

AEF 26th Yankee Division Painted YD OD Combat Helmet w Liner British Model D/04
This listing represents a first for me. Here you have a painted WWI British Model Helmet issued to a member of the American Expeditionary Forces. 26th Yankee Division. The Doughboy's OD Helmet features a painted YD to the front. The helmet is complete with liner and chisntrap. The helmet has the OD Green, Pebbled Combat Paint with dabs of paint that could be construed as a crude attempt at camouflage. The British Model Helmet is stamped D/04. The interior retains the felt padding. The British rubber donut ring to the crown, and a very dry leather liner. The leather is stiff and delicate, so please be careful. The chinstrap is present and intact with the buckle. The strap is buckled. It is dry and crazed and, again, must be handled carefully. The crown retains the brass rivet and features a pebbled combat paint finish with what I believe ... moreare dabs of a different color similar to mud or earth. The pebbled finish was achieved by mixing sand with paint. There are no gouges and the rim is in place with about three inches of separation. There are a series of dents to the crown. There is normal rust to the exterior and interior. The swivel bales are nicely intact as is the liner. To the front of the helmet are the capital letters YD for the 26th Yankee Division. The YD is subdued and faded but can definitely be made out. Also the helmet is a good size and fits my 7 1/4 cap size head. The photographs with my hand holding the helmet has created an optical illusion. Something that has happened when I have photographed caps and helmets while holding them. Rest assured, it is a normal, full size World War I Combat Helmet. Under the command of Colonel Edward Logan. The 101st Infantry of the Yankee Division was the first National Guard outfit to enter the lines in France during World War I. The 101st launched the first raid against the Germans by American Troops. It was the first attack supported by American Artillery. The Yankee Division went on to fight in the following campaigns; Lorraine, Ile-de-France, Champaign– Marne

The inkwell is a square bottle that is 1.5" on it's 4 sides and it's nearly 2.75" tall. The rim and hinge are brass. The under plate is shaped like a napkin with the ends folded over. As in photo#5 the center of the pair of flowers together have a raised dot center. The gold accents on the"folded" corner is worn and completely worn off in the photo#4 which a nick in the glaze. Otherwise all is in nice condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be many decades old. SHOREBIRD SANDPIPER WOODEN HANDCARVED FOLK ART LARGE 15" LONG PAINTED VINTAGE
This listing is for a vintage handcarved sandpiper bird that was bought at an estate sale auction and is being sold"AS IS" This bird sculpture is a in very good condition and appears to be handcarved. It has a folk art appeal and look to it. It is a rather large bird measuring approx. 15" long and 71/2" tall. It has a nice appeal to it and the colors are brown orange and tan color with the beak being a dark shade of brown. This really is a nice bird sculpture with no apparent cracks that I can see. There are a few little scuffs here and there. Nothing major IMO. There is a hole in the bottom of this that I think may have held him up on a stick of some sort but that is not included in this auction.Just FYI on that.see photos. Questions welcomed. VINTAGE BRASS PLATE WITH BEAUTIFUL PEACOCK ~ INTRICATELY ENGRAVED & ONCE PAINTED
Look what I found in Elly's Closet! Elly saved Everything! I just found some Old Bottles ~ Candy Molds ~ Ashtrays ~ Tools. There is even an Oil Can straight out of the Wizard of Oz! And some other Fun Vintage Collectibles. I found this Great Old Brass Plate engraved with a Beautiful Peacock. You can see that the Peacock was painted or enameled in Blue and the tips of the feathers in Red but only traces of the colors remain. There are no markings to indicate where or when this Plate was made but it has been in the'Closet' for over 40 years. The Peacock was the pet bird of Hera. Queen of the Gods and only had a few feathers. The Queen had a garden that held the a tree that bore Golden Apples and after the apples were stolen a couple of times, Hera transformed her Peacock and gave her 1000'Beautiful Eyes' She watches the ... moreGarden with ease and ever since All Peacocks have looked this way. The plate is only for decorative purposes and I have not polished it but it looks like it may have some residue from previous polishes to the brass. It is almost 12 inches in diameter.
