Vintage Wooden Cutlery Tray w/ Mustard Yellow Paint
This is nice solid wood tray with a yellow paint patina which is worn away in spots. I took photos of all 4 sides and the bottom. The tray is 13.50 x 9 x 3.5 inches. It has a cutout carrying handle that is 5 inches tall in the middle. The bottom is nailed to the sides. You can see that there are two small splits on the bottom near the nails but they do not go through. I don't know the age but I bought it about 12 years ago as a vintage tray.

4 Antique Wood Wooden Finger Jointed Bin Tray Shadow Cutlery Cigar Box
This auction is for a mixed lot of four different wooden bins and boxes. There is a tray with a small compartment at the end. It measures about 13" x 7" with a 2" x 5" compartment. The one with the angled sides used to be a cutlery box, but the center handle is missing and it is now just a tray. It measures about 7 1/2" x 11 1/2" with a pressed wood design. The small tray has two small holes in the top and was once used as a drawer. Last, there is a cedar cigar box from Carabana Cigars The top has come loose and there are some stains inside the bottom, but it is still in solid, strong condition. All have finger jointed construction except fot the cutlery carrier. Great for shadow boxes. All four for one amount, low minimum bid!

Antique wooden carved handle cutlery tray or caddy
Up for your consideration is a fine antique cutlery tray with carved handle. This utilitarian box would enhance any collection or look just perfect displaying a few treasured pieces of sterling flatware. I am unsure of species of wood. Perhaps walnut or oak. There is a pencil marking on the bottom which seems to indicate initials(CI) above a line and the number 75 below the line. The measurements of this tray are as follows: 13.5" long 8" wide 2.25" high 3.5" from bottom of tray to top of carved handle. This beautiful antique tray has tiny square nails and shows great craftsmanship. There is one flaw: there is a crack in one of the side panels at the bottom. see last picture) I almost did not notice it at first.I would call it the start of a break. In other words, if I were not careful, I might catch the bottom and the ... morecrack would become a broken piece. I won't attempt a repair, although I'm sure that a few dots of the correct type of glue would easily repair the crack. It runs along the grain of the wood, so once properly glued the repair may not be visible. I found this piece in a house built in the early 1800's that is being torn down. I've only cleaned it lightly with Murphy's Oil soap. I think this must have been hand carved. As the oval in the handle is ever so slightly off. I've enjoyed gazing at this for a few months, and now I hope that it finds a good home, hopefully with someone who may collect these, or knows more about them.

A sturdy and practical tool box. With 6 compartments and handle. This is a nice homely item. Which has clearly seen long service, and probably at least one change of use. It looks as if it originally had just two long compartments- perhaps it was a cutlery tray? At some later stage. Cross-dividers were added, to form 6 compartments. I expect it was used for small odds-and-ends like screws and nails. Or perhaps even sewing tools. The outer dimensions are about 14 inches by 8 inches. And the compartments are 2 inches deep. Condition: Very good condition. There is no major damage. But this item has clearly been used over the years, not just left on a shelf, and it isn't quite perfect. It is a very sturdy item. Which is still fit to use, but it certainly doesn't look new. There are lots of scuffs and scratches. And the edges are knocked. ... moreOne of the screw-heads is exposed on the base. The dividers which are fitted across the tray. Don't appear to be original, though they are certainly not recent. One of the nails holding these dividers is at an odd angle. So the point is exposed. This nail obviously needs to be replaced. So that you don't scratch your hand on the nail. The whole tray could do with a clean- it is dusty. And has small white specks, presumably of paint. Very good antique Victorian wooden Oak cutlery tray with twin sections and carry handle. Nice original tray with nice dovetail joints. Base is made up of sections of wood. Tray measures 12 1/2 inches x 8 inches x 4 1/2 inches high including the handle. Condition is great for age some odd marks on the wood. The felt on the bottom of the sections is not original. This nice. Large, antique wooden cutlery tray is probably made of pine and is made with flat nails. That noted, and the wear on it, it's probably from the 1800's. Measuring around the top edge, it's 17" x 11" The handle/ divider has a repaired(I can see glue residue) crack running its length. There is also a chip out of the wood at one end of the divider, exposing a nail. It has scratches, dings, scuffs, and other wear befitting its age. Check out my! Antique Wood Cutlery Tray You are bidding on an antique. Wood cutlery tray which is in excellent condtion. It is divided into two sections with a shaped center handle-divider. We found the tray in a great aunt's attic in 1980 and have had it ever since. The front of the tray is oak, the oak extends around the bottom edge on both sides. We think at one time possibly it was a drawer that someone made into a cutlery tray? Look at the pictures carefully and see what you think. It has dovetailed corners. I am offering this Pennsylvania Dutch hand crafted and painted divider utensil tray caddy. It is 2 3/4" tall x 9 1/2"long x 6" wide. It is constructed finely of wood. With light scalloping along the top front and back. There is an easy grab hole in the center of the divider top. It is hand painted in a colonial barn red with gold and green colored accented flowers going all around the perimeter on the outside. There are also felt tips placed at the bottom, to avoid scratching on your table top. This is a nice decorative piece. That can also be used to store utensils, mail etc. It is in very nice condition. I listed this as between 1800 and 1899 but it could be between 1900 and 1930. Please look at all the picturse of this tray. Pay close attention to the nails and the edges. The finish is very smooth to the touch. There are some raised nails on the bottom that if I was going to use this daily I would carefully pound down so as to not to scratch the surface that the tray would be placed or you could put a piece of felt on each nail head. This is for a fantastic fresh to the market estate find. Out of a Pennsylvania Estate. It is an antique American Folk Art Primitive simple made tray or box. I would guess early 19th Century possibly late 18th Century even. Made for Cutlery or Knives to carry in. Sometimes called a Tote as well. It is solid hand carved and nailed. I believe it is oak wood. But I am not an expert on wood grains. It has small tac type nails in the corners holding it together. It has a great oval cut out handle. With tall hump in the center. Nice angle out edges. Very cool collectible for any country home. Measures approx. 12" by 8" by 3" See condition below. Being sold without reserve& a $9.99 start. Have fun bidding. Vintage Wood wooden cutlery silverware drawer insert Tray. dovetail corners. three compartments. the three long compartments measure approx 10" long I.D. the two outside ones are just a tiny but shy of 2 1/2" side to side opening and the middle one is exactly 2 3/8" i.d. overall the tray measures 10 1/2" top to bottom. 8 1/4" wide and 1 7/8" tall. needs cleaning. Vintage Primitive Wooden Folk Art Painted Cutlery Utensil Tray Caddy Box Hearts
Up for auction is a charming. Folky, wooden cutlery tray. It is hand painted with hearts and flowers. The box measures 16" long by 10" wide and is about 5" high at the highest point of the handle. It has some writing along the top of the handle that looks like ANNO 44 and some other bits I can't read. Perhaps a signature. I think the Anno 44. Refers to 1944 and not 1844. The caddy has a roughly applied varnish that can be seen in some of the photos(streaks) The interior of one side is a pinkish color and the other side is bluish. It is nailed together and is not dovetailed. The bottom is painted grey. I have not tried to clean it.I think it was made to look older by darkening around the corners and edges and time has added to that patination. For sale is a lovely vintage 4 compartment wooden cutlery tray. I do not know what type of wood the tray is made of. It is well made with"box jointed" corners. It is in good vintage condition. The only small fault is one of the corners on the base is a bit damaged. It is 33.5cms x 23.8cms(13 1/2" x 9 1/2" and is 6cms(just under 2 1/2" deep.
