Vintage Primitive Woodenware FIRKIN Nice Patina CLEAN
This is a very attractive. Vintage wood firkin with a nice rich looking patina. It measures 15" tall counting the handle and 10" not counting it. It is 10" in dia. It is in excellent condition except one small crack on the lid rim that a drop of glue will take care of. It is very clean inside so could easily be used for any storage items. This is a Footed box which I believe is a writing notepad or Desk memo Calendar box of some sort which has the Brasil Insignia from 1889. It states under the star Estados Unidos Do Brasil 15 de November 1889. This date is significant because it is when Brazil became a Republic. It was no longer ruled under an empire. I don't know the exact age of this piece. It is brass and wood. It has a compartment inside. The wood has split on the right corner of door due to age but it is still intact and displays beautifully. Smells Great Size about. 9 inches tall. 9 inch belly 7 1/2 inch base. 8 1/4 inch outer edge.mouth. 8 1/2 inch lifd to otter edge. Wood Looks to be aged Oak. Metal Bands do not look old. Age un known I am guess made to look antique but still real nice work and solid wood. Nice Deep Red" Burl Wood Look" Finish. Lid crack matches the bowl crack real nice. And are both solid made. You can see light at the crack in the bowl to outside. Lid fits real nice not tight. Weights about 5 lbs. when full of potpouri. Take Lid off for nice fresh Potpouri Room Scent or leave lid on for mild scent. Bowl smells like fresh potpouri when empty. What you see is what you will get and sold as is. This woodenware piece is well made from Mahogany wood and is pegged together for easy movement. It has great patina. The nut is cracked is a carved opening area between the legs. It is not new. My guess is that it does have more age than most similar nutcrackers I have come across. This piece measures approximately 7 1/8" x 1 5/8" Fully extended. It measures approximately 13" in size. Vintage KENNEDY Brothers Wooden HANDLED BOWL Woodenware Oval Shape Vermont
This is a vintage Kennedy Brothers wooden handled bowl. It measures aprox. 8 1/2" across. And aprox. 7 7/8" wide. It has a raised handle. Aprox.7" long; the entire piece measures 14 1/2" from the tip of the handle to the opposite side of the bowl. The bowl stands 1 3/4" high and the handle rises aprox. 5" high.It has a slightly oval shape to it as opposed to a completely rounded one. It's in great condition, with a few marks here and there, and a small nick on the handle(see photo) Please use photos as part of the description.

Up for auction is a set of two VERY RARE Mission Beverages delivery crates. They are from the missions beverages. Grand Rapids Michigan. I have seen very few coolers and some cardboard carriers but these are very limited. They each have four compartments where each one would store a six pack of bottles(you can still see the outlines in some compartments) 18.5" L x 12" W and about 4.5" deep. They are very sturdy and well made. Normal antique wear for its age and purpose, which makes for the excellent patina that they hold. They will only be sold as found, A SET. Vintage Primitive Antique Firkin Style Bucket/ Container Unusual Locking type lid on this one. The top is designed to lock down the top( however due to age and some possible shrinkage it does not really catch the little slots well) A lot of thought and work went into the top design it has the turning locking part on top but if you look at the last picture the top was also made thicker on the edges graduating down the thin to make the whole design work. It also appears to be missing one the bands that goes around to hold it together. However it still holds together fine but it may have to be replaced at some point, the lid has a crack as shown by the pencil tip. It has the older reddish brown type paint that is worn in spots. It is approx 8" tall and 7" across. I do not see any nails used in the construction other than the one used ... morefor the locking handle to spin on, not even on the twisted band around the outside. Vintage Woodenware Syroco wood "Rise n' Shine" Rooster wall hanging Thermometer
This vintage woodenware rooster wall hanging thermometer is from my late grandmother's cabin in Northern WI. I believe it is from the 1950's and was on her kitchen wall since I was a young child. It measures approximately 5.75 inches tall. This thermometer is a large tailed rooster atop of a weathervane arrow. One side of the arrow says rise and the other side says shine. The arrow is atop what appears to be the front of the house with a tree and flowers. So retro and so Northwoods cabin like. This piece is made of a wood composite that is called syroco wood. The paper behind the thermometer says Blue-Fair. Lavender-Change and Pink-Rain. The paper is a little crumpled. However the print on it is bright and vivid! Up for auction is a vintage antique painted woodenware tool tote or box recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition and has a rod attached for easy transport. Primary color is orange, but there is several paint stains throughout, as well as losses to the paint. Please see the photos for details. It is quite sturdy and healed together with screws. This primitive box or tote measures approximately 19 3/8" x 8 1/4" x 9" in size. The box is 2 5/8" tall on the sides. Great for tool storage, a great display box for flowers or flower pots or any other projects you can think of. Lobster Woodenware Hand Painted Folk Art Bowls
Four woodenware bowls with gloss finish are unsigned and unmarked. Age is unknown but as a second or third generation estate item these are likely from the 1930s to 1950s. Three bowls have Lobster decoration only and one bowl has four additional sea creatures. All have shallow circular bases. Measurements are approximately 5 1/2 inches diameter and 2 inches height.
