$195.95 Shipping Condition: Used Location: West Milford, United States Nice Old Antique Trunk. I am not sure of the exact age. But the lock on it is from Eagle Lock Co. Eagle lock was in business from 1833-1954. So the age ... moreof the trunk lies in that time frame. It is adorned with black metal trim and ornate brass accents. This old trunk does show it's age in places. But there is nothing major. A few nicks, and there are a few dents or ding marks in the black metal trim. On the top front you will see there is 2 areas of chipped or worn off wood, a small amount enough to where wood putty filler should be an easy fix if you wish. There is also a very small chip place on the side you can see in pic 6. One of the hinges on the back is missing one button, see pic 9, and there is some separation on some of the brass corner pieces you can see in pic 12. I think I have mentioned every flaw. But please see all the pictures for the best description. For a trunk this old I consider its condition to be normal. Also, this would make a nice coffee table. the top is flat. It is in fair condition, with good bones, but the outer covering is stained, and torn in several ... moreplaces. The metal corners and the seams are all intact. The leather handles on each end are also intact, however, they are brittle and cracking. The latches work, but the center locking mechanism is missing. There is a small break in the wood of the trunk in this area, where the bottom portion of the locking latch would have been located. There is a piece of the left latch that is also missing. The inside lining of the trunk is intact, but it is quite dirty, and there are large stains on it as well. The original label is still present on the inside of the lid but is very faded. The trunk is 9.5” deep, 13.5” tall, 30.5” long, and 22.5” wide.

This is a vintage item that is worn but in good condition for its age. In particular the exterior paint is peeling and chipped, the interior of the drawers is soiled in various areas, the top handle has been replaced with wire and one of the hinges on the front panel is missing. Antique late 1800's Excelsior steamer trunk. It is in as found condition from an attic in New Bedford. MA. The trunk is a solid piece made up with slats of wood. The top has a slight dome to it. The top section of the lock is missing but there is no damage to the area, it looks as though someone carefully removed it. There is a missing wheel and some loss to the metal strapping. Antique victorian blanket box trunk vintage wooden chest pine coffee table old
An old original Victorian blanket box. As its well over a hundred years old. It will have marks, old wood worm holes, small bows and splits but I think it all adds charm. The box was fully treated for woodworm to be safe and secure from any little beasties several weeks ago Inside has the original fish tail hinges and it still has its lock and upper keep in the lid but the key is long gone lost over time The chest has a nice shiny bri wax finish. Its a early example made from pine not heavy very light to lift. Unlike later examples. One side has trim on the edge the other does not see pictures. Could be used as a coffee table or look fab in a room for the old world look. Rare Original 1880's Victorian Half Size Wooden Stage Coach Trunk w/ Liner
A Scarce Antique Victorian Half Trunk In Exceptional condition This Trunk was recently acquired from an estate in Upstate NY This 19th Century Stage coach trunk is crafted of wood(probably pine panels with ash bands) with metal reinforcements at the corners. It is quite unusual in size measuring just 17" at its highest. 16" deep and 16" wide. It retains its original paper covered wooden tray insert as well its original decorative print on the inside of the lid. The Decorative print in the lid depicts a beautiful woman adorned in Victorian style. it is in exceptional condition with no breaks or losses and only enough wear to attest to its age. There are minor dents in the metal at the corners. Some of the paper inside the lid has been worn away as well as the paper covering the insert tray. Striking antique. Oval, wooden lock chest with hand-forged iron hardware. It has the date"1845" carved in the underside of the top with initials ZH and ZVSV stamped on the top and on the underside of the top. I am unsure of the origin but the area of Germany/France has been suggested. The chest was clearly built with the purpose of keeping its items secure, perhaps for traveling or shipping purposes. The chest is approximately 20.25" wide, 15" deep and 12.5" tall from the bottom to the highest point of the dome top. It weighs approximately 14 pounds. Being an old chest. It shows expected wear. It is overall very solid but does have its share of dings, scuffs, and some minor loosening of the iron band and wood bottom trim in a couple of areas. Just a beautiful chest. I can send more pictures if you like, I took plenty, I will describe it the best I can without sounding like I am up-selling but it will be hard because this is in excellent shape for its age, All original rivets, locks, hinges in place. The corner caps are all in tact a little rusty but in great shape I think for age. No bends in back or tears. Smells good too, what I mean by that is not that creepy old musty smell they get. The bottom is strange it has little metal feet, 5 of them see pictures one on all 4 corners and one in the middle. The leather handles are in tact, I would not lift by them though I did, they have a little give in them but did not pull out. No real dents, just light rust. Happy Ebaying and thanks for looking. Up for offer we have an early blonde antique wooden immigrant trunk. The trunk measures 57 1/2" long by 26" wide and is 26 1/2" tall. While woods are not my forte` we have a consensus that this is white.Blonde oak. Weighs a ton solid in construction and has aged nicely. It appears to have been lightly varnished and the varnish is consistent. This piece has a floral top lining can be easily removed. Dates 1800-1820. All Original hardware with the exception of the interior lock( missing) is intact. The handles are there and solid to lift. The piece must have stood on a wall as the back is not varnished and it considerably darker(dirty) than the rest. Sorry could not get a picture of the bottom as it is loaded with tapestries at this moment solid and secure to say the least. You are bidding on a beautiful vintage wooden wall hanging from a company called Black Lake New York. I don't know anything about this wall hanging except how badass it looks. The wood is a slice of a tree trunk that's about 1.25 inches thick and about 18in tall x 12in wide. The wall art comes with a plastic hang tab attached that you can see in the picture. The art appears to be done on an enamel finish and you can see the immense detail that went into the illustration of a frontiersman and his horse being startled by a lurking grizzly. Vintage Wooden Trunk "The World" in Leather/Vinyl/Wood/Velvet **AGE/Origin? UNK
Up for auction is a Vintage Wooden Trunk"The World" in Leather/Vinyl/Wood/Velvet* The AGE and Origin at this time is unknown. This trunk measures 24x14x14 inches(external) A hat is placed in one of the photos to show scale. I'm not the original owner. Only an individual reseller. I've only had this item for about 2 days. Externally it is made of a photographic fabric that appears to be a vinyl or leather of some type. More on this later. It is apparently held down with glue and genuine leather accent trim. The accent trim is held down by metal stud/rivets. Much of the leather has lifted away but is all still intact present. There are also two very thick leather strap handles affixed on both sides(length) These handles are all very much intact and offer maximum usefulness. There seems to have been a hasp or some other locking ... moremechanism. But is no longer in place. There is one hinge on the inside that is in very good condition. I can support the lid in the open position half way all up to fully open. Inside the trunk is a very pristine velvet/ felt liner. It is wine/ burgundy in color and is clean and immaculate as if never used. In fact this trunk has probably been shut/closed for so long that I had to pry it open. As far as the main picture material. It does appear to be leather. The theme is a continuous map of the world with photos of wildlife(mainly Africa) It is in mint condition throughout the outside of the box and has not peeled away, been ripped, deteriorated, nor discolored in any location. This material extends throughout and also the main surfaces and also the internal edges leading to the velvet interior. Thanks for visiting this auction and for reading all of this. This is a heavy duty gauge steel trunk with an all metal body including the metal bottom and with the wooden inside. It measures approximately 32" x 8" x 10 1/4" tall and that's not measuring the handles. It was very well built it weights about 18 lbs and 10 oz. There are no markings on it who made it. I don't know the age of it. If any one who knows about these can share more info with me about this item, I would greatly appreciate it. Black paint is chippy with some rust showing through especially on the bottom but there seem to be no holes and etc. It can be used for different things including to store carpenter tools as can be seen on pics. H Hoskins and Co marked wooden trunk and/or box. This is a really remarkable piece and I haven't been able to find any other trunks like this one. This trunk has a few markings on the interior of the box(please see pictures) But it looks like it was from Wm. H. Hoskins and Co, which was a stationary company from the late 1800's into the early 1900's in Philadelphia. The box also has a"Penn. R. marking, which makes me think this might have been used on the railroads, but this is just my own speculation. The box measures 37"L x 16"W x 14"H. Large Antique or Vintage Trunk. In good condition. Made of wood painted black on outside and has paper lining on inside. Measure 36" wide. 24" tall, 22" front to back. Leather handles on sides are torn off and need replacements. Has metal corners, brackets, hinges, lock. Lock is an'Eagle Lock' with no key included, and unure if it will work. Has some kind of hard leather or hide like material around edges. Has an identification sticker on top which cant be fully read, but is shown in photos. Can only make out location, Newark NJ, and above that the last 3 letters of name'ard' Paper lining on inside in poor shape and metal bracket on inside, that holds top lid from swinging to far back, is broken and needs replacement.
