Beautiful little glass angel with what I think is an aquamarine for March birthday. I do not know the age. She's in great condition free of chips. Cracks or repairs. There are 2 little marks on the wood base on the base(see 3rd picture) which I was unable to remove. Measures about 4 3/4" tall. I believe the birthstone crystal is Austrian crystal. She is pretty! For your consideration. A quite nice set of five 2.50" tall angel musician figures that are unsigned- we think they look German. The wood angels all have star tiaras and play different instruments. The angels are hand painted with a glossy enamel. They appear to be in good condition- we could find no missing parts. And the only sign of obvious repair is on one of the drummer's arms. There are several areas on the bases(see photos for example) where the blue paint has allowed the glue used to mount the angels to bleed through. We think this is a result of the aging process and not an indication of multiple repairs. This just an exceptional carving. I think it is mahogany but it is very light for the size. The carving is solid wood as a separate piece and mounted in a frame. You are bidding on a Wood Carving of an Angel blowing a Horn/Trumpet. It has great Detail and a very nice Finish. I think it’s oak but not sure. The Angel would look great on the wall in a young child’s bedroom. It measures about 14 inches long x 5 inches wide at its widest x 1/2 inch thick at its thickest. The Horn/Trumpet has had a crack right at the thin part of the Horn where it comes out of the Angels Hand and has been glued. It’s a very nice gluing job. Hardly noticeable. I acquired the carving at an estate sale so I don’t know its age or history. Check out all the PIX and check PIX 3 for the glue repair. Ask any questions you may have. This beautiful statue is from the De Capoli Collection. It features an angel with large wings standing next to a unicorn. They are depicted as walking through the clouds and they are attached to a beautiful wood base. I have carefully examined this statue and I do not see any chips or cracks. The unicorn horn and angel's wings are in perfect condition. This statue does show shelf wear and the base has some scuffs and shelf wear as well. Statue measurements: 14 1/2" tall from the base to the tip of the wings. 9 1/2" wide(to tip of outstretched hoof) 8 1/4" from wingtip to wingtip. Here is a beautiful vintage Erzgebirge Germany wooden wood figure. This is a C. Blank Kunsthandwerk brand musical mandolin playing angel. She is of natural wood and delicately hand painted and stained. The figure is in wonderful condition. The only flaw I see is touches of excess glue. Which is very common with these figures. The pictures tend to make her look yellowish, in person her actual coloring is more tan& brown. Although still being made, this is an older one. She stands about 2 1/2" tall.
