Marked on one box Walt Disney Productions Made in West Germany. I cant find a date on any of the blocks. There is some ware to them from age and play and the smallest one has the most damage which I have showed in the pictures. I lived in Europe from 2005-2007. And made it a point to buy tons of stuff from every different country that I visited. For the life of me, I can't remember where I bought these from. There is a label on the bottom of both of them though, I'm not sure what language they're in, but that should be a clue. One of them is missing a screw for the latch. The other has come apart at the hinges. Both the latch and the hinges aforementioned could still be functional though. The reason they don't work is because the screws were either lost or came out of the wood. I am selling this collection of 3 boxes as 1 item. They have a bird theme in common and similar functions. They are so cool and very"vintage" They all hold cigarettes and the birds bend down to pick them up one at a time. One says"SARAJEVO" on the lid that covers the cigarettes. You push the stick. The bird lowers its head and comes up with a cigarette in its beak. Next one is similar. You pish the bird's head or tail and it performs the same function. It even still has the original blue ash tray which is very cracked but all in one piece. It looks great without the ash tray too and shows off all the inlaid wood. The third one is a box. It has beautiful wood design(inlay? on all sides and the lid and the inside has flowers and a black and a white scotty dog! When you open the box.
