Up for auction is a vintage Pepsi Cola wooden crate. This measures 18 1/2 x 12" and is 4 1/4" tall. It was meant to carry 24 bottles. It does not have the wooden bottle dividers. It is marked Sedalia. Mo. On both ends. It is in overall nice shape with normal wear and tear for its age. It has various spots of discoloration from age and the red Pepsi Cola is a bit faded on one side. The wood is cracked on one end completely across. Please look at pictures closely and judge for yourself. I feel it has a great patina and displays nicely. Shipping is $12.00 within the United States. No international shipping. What I would call the front of the box is the logo for'Standard Oil Company(Indiana) Service' one side says, Bovinol Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. 1 Can Standard Oil Company Indiana' other side has the Standard logo and the number'145' back of box reads, Standard Oil Company Indiana' bottom of box is marked'For' and the logo once again. Box is nailed together and is strong, but nail heads have rusted over time. Light wear and dirt, a little greasy. It appears as though a piece of wood has split from the top of the front of the box, making that side slightly shorter than the other sides, but does not detract from any of the lettering. Vintage wooden milk crate with metal bottom and all edges. Looks like the wood had been painted at one time but it wore off with years of use. The metal has a great patina. One little spoke on the bottom is bent. Can be pushed back if you want to. Causes no problem. Cannot read the brand but it once was on the crate. It is 13" square and 10 1/2" tall. Here is a vintage wood crate/box. Engraved and painted"Monogram Thompson seedless raisins Fresno Cal" and more markings. Scarce item. It is about 19 1/2 wide. 11 inches deep, and 8 inches tall. Weight is about 4 pounds. Made of 1/4" wood with the two sides 1/2" wood. Has a piece of board missing on bottom. Has some split boards. Has some recent repaining. Still in sound condition. I do not see any other breaks. Damages, nor repairs. I do not know how exactly old it is but this is an old one. Some age and wear as would be expected on a used item of this age(see photos for cosmetic condition) It is in as found condition. Presumably.20 gauge shotgun shells(I am uncertain what the 16 signified) Some water mark around base, as shown. It measures approx. 18" by 12" by 10" It has a chip out the wood on one side at top(see pictures) Both sides have Pepsi Bottle Cap as does the inside. Both ends also have Double Dot Pepsi Cola Bottle cap(see pictures) Interesting bottom to this crate. Where you can see where the 24 bottles sat in the bottom of the box. Nice original patina.
