This auction is for a Vintage Wooden Coca Cola Carrying Caddy. This wood case is about 12" wide. 18" long and 4" tall, this has 4 sections to hold 4 six packs of coke. This is a good, stout crate, it does not wiggle or feel flimsy at all. The inside of the crate is marked 1972 Chattanooga This has been stored in the barn for years, it does show some age and has some wear to the crate but Overall this is in good condition. the crate is red with white writing, there is a part of the metal on the bottom side that is curled up shown in photo#8. measuring a petite 4 1/2 inches high by 6 5/8 inches long by 4 1/8 inches wide here is a very nice wood crate with a very nice aged patina that once held 5 drops medicine that purported to cure rheuthmatism. Neuralgia and catarrah, with the remnants of a fargo& co express label covering part of the graphics on one side and on the sliding top there is a faded adress that looks like it was shipped to ben lukhart in wans pass tex. and the initials wfr there is a small piece missing from the bottom as shown in the photos but this does not at all detract from an object that more likely than not was delivered by stagecoach in the old west, go ahead own this piece of history. Up for bid I have a vintage 1956 Coke wooden case. This case is divided to hold 4 six packs. 8 oz bottles. The case was manufactured by Temple MFG. Dallas TEX 5-56. This case apparently was stored upside down. Because the damage is to the top of the dividers and some to the end boards in the form of dry rot. The boards are stable at this time and should not deteriorate any further if kept dry. The bottom of the crate. And the metal strapping are in great condition. The graphics and color are good. But there is a hole broken in one of the side boards. I have shown the crate from all sides. Feel free to ask questions. This would look nice filled with old six packs of coke.
