Vintage Soda Crate'Creme-O Coco' Wilshire Club.Globe Bottling-Large. 18x12x10 The Wilshire Club Soda line was begun in 1951(previously a beer brand) in Los Angeles and perhaps San Francisco with some interesting flavors. This Creme O Coco Chocolate beverage is a highly collectible brand for a can. With a mint bottle cap recently selling for $75, here on eBay. They tried to bring their"Chocolate Carbonated Drink" to a national audience with the reassuring slogan"No Sterilization Needed" in 1966. They went out of business the next year so the crate could be from as late as that. 1967. There's no other examples on line to compare it with. This crate is in amazing condition as you can see from the photos. The reason for this is that it was at some time covered in pink vinyl for some other use. The remnants of that ... morevinyl can be seen on the bottom of the crate. It's a metal strip construction so the box itself is not THAT interesting but those graphics sure are! One end had some weather damage and the other looks like it was left exposed so you can see what the whole crate would have looked like by now. Instead we have those long sides of fresh looking wood and bright orange graphics. This is one of those rare and amazing finds. Condition Notes: Considering its age it's something of a miracle-there is dust. Dirt and weathering on one end with some discoloration on the other that looks like it may have been built like that. 1971 Raleigh Chopper mk1 bicycle bike vintage Sturmey Archer Schwinn crate rare
Up for auction is a rare 1971 Raleigh Chopper MK1 bicycle. I am not an expert on these bikes but I have done a fair amount of research. It has a 5sp shift with a Hi-Lo shift also. The bike appears to be all original with the exception of the tires. It has not been cleaned or restored in any way. This bike needs a good cleaning. Polishing, touch-up, and tune-up. It seems to have all of its original hardware with the"R" logo on the acorn nuts. This bike is a rare piece and should be a great project for a bicycle inthusiest. This is for a vintage Cabell's wooden milk dairy crate. It is marked on two sides with. Cabell's 9 54. Not sure if the 9 54 was the date the crate was made but it looks like it could be that old. The name on the two sides can be seen but are worn. The wood on the crate has some cracks and looks old but is still solid. The wood under one handle has the largest crack. The metal around the edges and corners has some spots of light rust. The metal bottom has light rust over alot of it. The metal edge on top is slightly bowed on one side. The crate is fairly heavy and well built. Please examine all the photos carefully and ask any questions before bidding. The crate measures approx. 13" x 13" and 11" high. This is a vintage wood crate from Sebewaing Brewery in Michigan. The beer used in the crate was Old Syle Beer and sides of crate featuring the flying Mallard duck symbol of the comapny. It also states since 1880. One of the ends also has readable print stating Sebewaiong Old Style Beer Since 1880. Made from Sparkling Well Water. Sebewaing Brewing Co. Sebewaing, Mich. the opposite end has no print. Both sides have a wood split but the integrity of the box is maintakined. The bottom has some issues as 2 of the 3 pieces are nice while the 3rd one has a crack and some small pieces missing and small split as a full length narrow piece has fell off. after the pictures. One of the sides has small chip missing at the top. The inside has the wood slits where dividers were once used. The cornmers and ends have metal trim. Vintage 1800's United States Baking Company Cracker and Cake wood crate Robinson Bros Branch in Cleveland. Ohio. Type of crate used in general stores in the 1800's. United States Baking Company was one of three major baking companies which merged to form Nabisco in 1898. Aged labels on sides of crate are very nice and bright but have has some parts peeled away. Made with antique nails. Size approx, 23 1/2 inches wide x 11 inches high x 14 inches deep. The crate is in very good condition, the lid has had something spilled on it and one of the two cross pieces of wood on top of the lid has cracked.

Probably dates to the early 1960s because the address has"CAL. instead of the 2 letter state abbre v iation"CA" that came into usage in 1963. Overall very good condition. All joints are tight. Vintage Wood Hinged Wine Box/Crate-Bolla-IL Vino Classico D'Italia-Dividers
I have a vintage wood hinged Bolla wine box crate that hols 4 bottles. It has brass latches and hardware. A rope handle and measures 13 3/4" by 13 1/2" and is 3 1/2" deep. It has inside dividers that are completely intact and says IL vino classico d'Italia and has a pic of the Italian flag. The only flaw is at the bottom of the red stripe, there are 4 inches of wood that had pulled apart and has been reglued and the back hinges could be cleaned up a little. Up for auction is this vintage BORDEN'S BORDENS METAL WIRE MILK CRATE CASE. The crate has 4 divided sections to allow for either gallons or half gallons. The crate measures 13 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 12 and is made of steel/metal and has the traditional wire sides. This is a bigger one and heavier, weigh's about 10 pounds. There is some minor surface rust and a bend or two here and there(see pictures) Nice solid container. Great collector piece believed to be rare. Each corner metal plate has BORDENS 8-64 which I believe to be from August 1964. I am a milk man by trade and they don't make crates like this anymore. These are good for display, storage, collections, and you can stand on these and not have to worry about falling through it, like you can with the common plastic made ones.
