Vintage canvas wig stand. Condition: Solid condition. With a lot of staining. Felt face is partially torn away(not sure if that was original or added later-the pieces appear to be pretty consistent from one side to the other though) There is some dust buildup on the bottom edge. The top portion of the head is kind of rough. See photos for details. Head is 10" tall. No markings found. But measured 22" at widest circumference. Vintage hat ring with14. 2 1/2, 7 1/4 and HSH Chicago stamped into side of ring. Is in solid shape with only a few scuffs in the ring. Does have a hair line crack in one side of ring by 7 1/4 mark. See picture) Outside of ring is 10 3/4 inches by 12 3/4 inches. Inside of ring is 6 3/4 inches by 8 3/16 inches. Height is 2 1/4 inches. All measurements are as close as I could get them. Up for your consideration is an Antique Hat Mold/Block/Stretcher that is stamped 7-1/8 on the top side. This is adjustable and opens to 7-1/2 on the brass marker inside the block(which measures 8-1/4" L on a tape measure) This measures 6-1/4" across on one side and 6" when turned over as the hat would gently slope up. Vintage Antique Old Millenery Hat Block Form Mold Wood with nice patina and is marked Hatters Supply House Chicago along with various mold and size numbers. The oval itself is 13.75 x 12 and is marked 2 7/8 7 1/4 and 23; the middle mold is 4.75 x 6 and is marked 4 1/2 7 South. There is the outside crack on the middle old and some light chipping on the inside upper oval from sliding the block in. Very structurally sound. It is a bit darker than what the pics show. Girl Friends Rubber Stamp Rubber stamp mounted on a 2-1/4 x 2-3/4" wood block. The stamp features two young girls walking with their arms around each other. They are wearing long flowered dresses with aprons and one has on a large summer hat. One grasps a handful of flowers and the other a stuffed bunny doll. T he stamped image is about 2" x 2-1/4" Manufacturer is unknown. The wood appears to be maple. The block edges are rounded only on the top two sides and everything else is square-cut. Nice vintage MILLINERY CLOTH MANNEQUIN HEAD BLOCK- HAT/WIG MAKER FORM. Approx 23" circumference(23 is printed on head) 9" tall. Including base. Cloth has a canvas/linen texture, bottom of base of black metal. There is an opening on the bottom of the base to insert the clamp, which is included and is in good working order. The metal clamp has a swivel ball, and screws onto the side of a table or counter- see photos. I got it in a Decorama box(Dallas, TX) but I am not sure of this box is original to the form(there is not a maker mark on the head) No rips or tears. Very solid. Stitching at seams is in good shape. You are bidding on a vintage wooden top hat crown hat block in a very classic shape. A must for every milliner! You can't go wrong with this block! Perfect for the collector or decorator as well. Block measures 5" at center front. Center back and sides. Measures approximately 6-1/4" across the top center front to center back. Hat block is in good condition for its age. There is a slight separation crack in the back of the block but will not effect the finished hat. There is also a very slight dent on the edge of the top. Up for sale are these three accessory items. There's a Gibraltar Mini Boom Arm for an alternate/remote closed high hat set up. Has signs of wear. Chrome loss but is very well made and functional. The boom is 12.7mm and real beefy! The arm is also adjustable for angle and has cymbal angle adjustment like a regular high hat as shown in the pictures(cymbals, hi-hat clutch NOT INCLUDED) This boom arm comes with a Pearl 90º mounting clamp and a DW Multi-Clamp that can be attached to any straight or boom cymbal/tom stand. There is a rubber base that goes with this and it's stamped Norman Kartiganer. Worcester Mass. USA. The form can be used with or without the base. Measures 9.5" tall without the base attached. The base brings it up to about 11" tall. Condition is very good. There are a couple of tiny snags on the top. And 2 little holes where pins were stuck to secure something.
