Large wood case 8 day New England clock. German movement has been cleaned and oiled. Runs and strikes good. Matching set of 1800 gram weights runs the time and chime. Pendulum is a fabricated from a battery clock, but is adjustable weighted correct, and has been keeping good time for months. Has nice deep bim bam chime that is louder than the door bell. Clock strikes on the half hour and at the top of the hour for the appropriate amount of hours. I have had this clock running for a few months deciding if i was going to find or make a door and what to do about the chimney. Case has a few nicks and scratches, but almost all have been touched up, and are hard to notice. Was a painted metal door at one time, but clock looks fine with it open. The porcelain dial is in excellent condition with no cracks, hairlines, or breaks of any kind. A beautiful Herschede Westminster Canterbury Electric clock. The model is"Queen Anne" circa 1929. The clock case is in near-pristine condition. The carved wood detail around the edges of the clock is beautiful. The silvered dial with its raised numbers is in excellent condition. There are a few very small paint specks on top of the case. The finish has some crazing that is almost undetectable. Unfortunately. The clock does not function properly and will require a clock maker's expertise. At some point, the original cord was replaced. When it is plugged in, the clock chimes but will not stop chiming. The clock ticks for a little bit and then does not continue. Other than that, this is a beautiful Herschede. This exceptional wood carving is from my Great Aunt's estate. It most likely belonged to her mother who emigrated here from Germany. It is a figure of an old man with what appears to be a bunch on flowers in one hand and a basket in the other. He's smoking a long pipe and has a knapsack on his back. The overall measurement is 4-3/4" tall. The base is 1-1/2" square. No chips or cracks. Nice!

GERMAN BLACK FOREST ANTIQUE WOOD CARVED TRUMPETER CLOCK CUCKOO VERY RARE
This auction is for a German Black Forest Cuckoo Clock. The clock has a sticker that reads Quality Clock Von Hagos Hrastnig K.G. Furstenfeldbruck. Made in Germany 114 AM 8/1960. The movement is a Thorens movement. It also has a small music box to the side and the sticker for that is Wein, Weib und Gesang Faust Chorus. Made in Switzerland. This clock is the trumpeter flute clock the flute is by the side of the clock and it has a fan that blows through the flute when it is attached, which is a very hard clock to find with all its intricate carvings. I purchased this clock from an estate and it was stored in a plastic tote so it is in pretty good shape. It carries 3 large weights and the cuckoo is a bird in one door and a german boy reading a book in another door. Measurements are 13 1/2" tall without the elk and gun plate. the elk and ... moregun plate measures 4" tall by 12 1/2" wide. The width of the main cuckoo clock where the bird and rabbit are is 12" and measurement of the roof width is 10" wide. The number 10 is missing, The trumpet bell has been reglued a long time ago so it will be easy to clean it off and reglue it. One gun sling has been broke with a clean break all is there and easy to reglue. There are 2 pieces to the side I think one is the flute. I do not know if the cuckoo clock works or not. There are side windows through which the movement and the pendulum can be seen. A new glass window has been installed because the old one had some scratches on it. The full body of this beauty is made of NUT wood and the pendulum is an artwork on its own. The"roof" has 3 ornaments on it. VINTAGE GERMAN, FREDRICK MAUTHE WESTMINSTER CHIME 8 DAY WOOD WALL CLOCK!
I have tried to date this Fredeick Mauthe Wall clock and I have been told it is pre-war era. There are the lightest remains of what looks like numbers on the back so I took a picture. I received the clock with the pendulum disconnected. I took it to a clock man and he replaced the link that holds the top of the pendulum rod to the mechanism. He also oiled and serviced it. I hung it and over a few weeks have been adjusting the pendulum for accuracy and believe I have it pretty close to being within a minute over a couple days. But its an old clock and you may have to fine adjust further. The Pecan wood is beautiful and I haven't even polished it. If you look close and at the right angle you can find a fine scratch but I think it can be polished away. The two glass pieces are in great shape with no cracks. Upon close inspection the metal ... moredial has some small spots which also may be polished away but I will leave this for the next owner.The pendulum brass disk could also use some polishing and has a small ding. There is a key included. The clock is 16" high 13" wide and 4.5" deep. Aside from the beauty of this clock I am most impressed by the sounds. It chimes typical westminster every 15 minutes and rings the hours out, for its size the sound is rich and full.

But it is most likely a flute imported from Germany by Lyon& Healy, as picture in the 1920's Lyon Healy catalog- Lyon& Healy imported wooden flutes of similar construction and with similar keys from Mollenhauer, Otto Monning and Meyer. I am attaching a sample from the catalog of a similar(and not identical) flute offered by Lyon& Healy in 1920's. The flute I offer is a 13 keys flute in key of C. Made of grenadilla wood. The keys go down to B, most likely Meyer system, it has cork joints and is made of grenadilla wood. The tuning slide is missing, but the tuning cork inside a head joint is there and it can be moved to tune the flute. The keys work, all springs are in place, the pads are there, but the are quite ... moreold and need to be replaced/adjusted. The are signs of older, previous repairs. The key to the oblong body case. Covered with'Seal Grain Keratol' is still there, but the case is worn out. The total lentgh of the flute is 28-1/8" The length without a head joint is 19-1/4" Due to its age it's being sold as is. RARE German Electromophon phonograph edison bulb wood tone arm ONLY 1 on ebay
I have other phonographs listed and more on the way. This is a super RARE unit this is the only one on ebay and quite frankly the only one I could find on the internet it should probably be in a phonograph museum if you want to add unusual and interesting to your collection and make it stand out this is the one you'll never find another one. This has a RARE all wood tone arm with beautiful grain. The reproducer is unusual it has 2 spots for needles perhaps it plays 2 types of records not real sure it is original to this unit but that's how it is. This is a transitional piece because it is in a hand crank cabinet but it is an electric phonograph. The Edison type bulb still works amazingly I put it in a normal lamp and it lit up it has a cool filament pattern. The socket in the phonograph is the old porcelain type. The switch to the ... moreleft is numbered 0.1,2 and the speed knob is marked Schnell and Langsam for Fast and Slow. The lid label has a woman dancing topless listening to an electromophon I don't know why it would make you take your top off but anyway I guess it was marketing The speaker area has contrasting wood color and it looks awesome. This isn't perfect it has normal wear there is some raised grain on top I think some glue and weight would fix it easy. There is no plug on the end but the ends are soldered like they did back then so you don't get frayed ends but since the plug is gone I haven't tried to plug it in I'm not sure if they used the same volts as we did so I didn't want to burn it up. The record platter spins easily so it isn't froze up but I couldn't test it and am selling it as is. It is 39.5 tall and 18 by 18.5 wide. I would prefer a pick up in person and if you need me to store it for awhile we would gladly do that as long as you pay for it right away. Shipping will not be cheap at all due to size and weight and amount of work to pack it safely and only shipping to the lower 48.

Greetings. Here is a German Model K-98 Bayonet with Scabbard. 15 inches long overall with a blade length of 9-3/4 inches. Blade still retains much bluing, pommel marked with serial number D 14409, with German proof marks on the opposite side. Good working press stud, blade shows no evidence of sharpening. Scabbard is flat black in color with a serial number on the back of 317 G with some light dings and evidence of having been painted at one point. This is a stylish wood cased Hermle wall clock. A Mid century design with awesome wood and a curved glass door. Off square shape that is 9 1/2" across the top and 7" across the bottom and is 11" tall. 2 x Brass loops to top for hanging. Working Hermle movement We purchased this clock at a local estate. The lady had a key that fit this clock. But it belonged to another clock and she could not let us have it. She did wind the clock and it worked and kept time and chimes. I have looked for another key to fit it, but was not able to find one. So this clock will not come with a key. There is no cover over the back of the clock, as seen in the picture.

This is a very nice oak wall clock case. Pendulum, face and chime. The oak has aged well, highlighted by it's even sheen, and dark red color. I has been well taken care of, and has not dried out. It is from the 1930's, manufactured in Germany. It has a beautiful double roman ogee oak skirt, and finely detailed carved accents along the top and bottom. It has it's orginal chime, face, and pendulum. A movement is all that keeps this case clock from being an attention getter in any home. Included is the German clock case.
