The bowl appears to be made of one piece of wood and hand carved(the back side is not perfectly flat. But slightly uneven) The finish is very nice and smooth showing a bit of age and wear. The carved surface shows dirt, a little nicking and wear but I love it. This will get more beautiful with each year that goes by! I have had it on my wall for a long time, but I am clearing some things out and am ready to part with it. The oval shaped bowl measures a generous 16" L x 8 1/2" W x approx 2 3/4" H. One of many wood dough bowls that I will be listing. This one is shaped in an oval and was hand made out of one piece of wood. It measures 17 inches in length by 9 1/4 inches in width. Inside measurements are 15 1/2 inches by 8 3/4 inches. The base of the bowl is 4 1/2 inches by 2 inches. On the bottom at each end are 2 notched indentations for carrying. There is also a carved hole on one end with a string through it for hanging. Lots of character with great patina. No cracks in this bowl. It measures 21 1/2" from one handle end to the other. It's approximately 4" deep. It's been well-used. Over the years, and shows it! Some critter nibbled on an edge, which is pictured. I like to think it adds to its charm, as do the age cracks. One in the bowl of the trencher and one by the handle closest to the nibbles. This, too, has been pictured. I'm pretty sure that this is an Antique Red Wing bowl but it is unmarked. It has the distinctive little indentations on the bottom rim that were typical of Red Wing bowls. It is in wonderful Primitive condition. There are no chips or cracks but it does show signs of use as you would expect from a utilitarin piece of this age. It has a top diameter of 10" and is 5 1/4" deep. It has a 2" shoulder. I am listing several old. Bowls today and will be happy to combine them to safe on shipping costs. SHIPPING. This size is hard to find- I believe this WATT dough/mixing bowl is the LARGEST they made. It is a full 14 inches in diameter. It is clearly marked WATT on the bottom. Along with the number 14. Vintage, Antique? Collectible Wooden Dough Bowl (signed Munising)
Oval in shape. It measures 11-1/2" across at the top from the longest two edges, and 10-1/3" across at the top from the shortest two edges. Marked Munising on the bottom. Normal use wear to the bowl. It does have a small chip at the top edge. As you can see in the last photo. It also has 2 cracks on the same side of the bowl, both going all the way through from inside to outside, and measuring 1-3/4 inches long each. From a clean and smoke free home. I just used it as a centerpiece on my coffee table with plastic grapes in it. Only reason I am selling is because I need to sell things to pay some doctor bills this month. Posted with

This bowl is in great condition with a very tight crack and two very early reapaired chips to the rims where the chips were cut out and then filled with pieces of wood that were carved to fit it. This is a signed bowl with M in the beginning and g on the end but I can not make the rest out to be sure! From the Munising ones I see the lettering is different! This one had a wooden spoon we have had it for quite awhile! As I said it is 15 1/4 x 14 1/4 x 5" the spoon is 9 1/4" x 3 3/4" as photoed! The hole for a strap to hang and dry it! It is in great shape with the exception of some scuffing to the varnish on the handle as you can see in the pictures. If you want a better primitive look you could do some additional scuffing. The Magyar bakers in Hungary& other Eastern European used these hand carved antique bowls. this bowl was brought to the states by great stuff by paul. these same bowls are sold by a well known retailer from size 20' 52' for $199-$249 this bowl is 52' tall. The LARGE heavy bowl was turned from a single piece of wood. 1/2" thick. It is slightly out-of-round. M easuring 15 1/2" x 14 1/2" x 4 1/2" tall. It has a beautiful dark aged patina; b irdseye(maple? grain. There is wear from years of normal use. No chips. No cracks, no serious defects. VERY GOOD condition overall. 1940s Primitive Wood Dough Bowl Butter Hand Carved Marked Munising 2nd 10.75 x
This is a a great old butter bowl. The different shades of natural aged colors. In a soft yellow aged wood with the scratched signs of use and a split as shown that hopefully is simple to repair-can be used as decorative in your old country kitchen-would look fantastic with bright green apples or sunny yellow lemons for Spring into Summertime. Typical age and dry old surface cracks. Yes there is that one crack as its old and has been used showing lots of character. The bowl is oblong and not perfectly round measuring 11 1/2" x 10 3/4" measurements taken from the outer most points. It has the Munising 2nd mark on the base in that calligraphy style that dates it circa 1940s. It is about 2 1/2 inches deep, perfect for mixing butter, dough or simply decorative.

Wooden Bowl Antique Treenware Hand Hewn Dough Primitive Paddle Large
Absolutely gorgeous antique wooden bowl with original paddle included. This is a very large bowl measuring 17- 17&1/2 in. X 5- 5&1/2 in. The bowl obviously does not measure perfectly due to the way it was crafted. It is completely crafted out of one beautiful piece of wood. It has about a 1 inch rim around the entire edge. I found this bowl at an estate sale here in good ole Kansas with the paddle sitting in the bowl. It was very dirty and dry so I simply cleaned it with Murphy Oil Soap. I normally leave items in their as found condition, but the piece had been neglected for so many years and I wanted to make sure that it didnt start to crack) As you can see by the photos it cleaned up beautifully. I am not certain about what type of wood but it is fairly light. A beautiful primitive piece of Americana that I absolutely guarantee ... moreto be authentic.
