Sweet little pin with a tiny carved angel skin cameo. Pin has finish wear and the straight pin doesn't latch properly under the curved clasp. Lovely old carved angel-skin coral branch. Still has the label from China on the underside. It is carved with flowers. Leaves, and a delicate bird in flight, rendered with great skill and detail. It measures approx. 2&1/8" x 1" x 3/8" Weight is 18.3 grams. The underside appears to have natural inclusions and some old tag residue. It would make a beautiful brooch. There are 5 carved open compartments for organizing and a hidden drawer that opens the full length of the desk with 4 divided sections inside. The top center includes a compartment that incases the original clock. On the lid is a hand carved cupid. A walnut wood weight is attached. The desk is in very good aged condition without repairs. The only thing I see is two tips missing from the delicate finials. Located on left side underneath the desk and on the right side bottom between the legs. You will need to really search in the pictures because they are very hard to find. T he desk measures 52" high x 34" width x 21" depth. This is Italian workmanship from the old days that can not be found in modern times. CUPID measuring 9" height and 6" at the widest part attached to the top that covers the compartment where the clock sits. Very good aged condition. CLOCK T he clock has 3 different hand designs and incased in bronze? solid brass. The face is a natural cream ivory? porcelain with black Roman numerals. The face is aged with some hairlines but the numerals are bold without any color loss. The clock has 2 front legs and a weighted bronze pendulum that you can view from the photo. It does move side to side and I hear ticking but is in need of adjusting. The clock is original and fits perfect to view from a circular opening made for it

Scholar or Teacher This is a stunning work of art and craftsmanship. The entire body. Head and book are carved from one solid very heavy piece of wood. I cannot identify the type of wood it is made from. I believe my parents brought it here from Poland when they immigrated to the U.S in the 1940's. The wings are intricately carved as a separate piece and uniquely inserted in to the wood to make it look as one piece. It is amazing! This has been very well taken care of throughout the years. There are no chips. Cracks dents or dings. There is one small indentation on the left side of the book and it appears to be a part of the makeup of the single piece of wood that it was carved from. Rare Antique Polychrome Carved Wood Winged Angel/ Cherub A rare antique carved wood polychrome and gilt decorated Angel or Cherub plaque with wings. This spectacular piece is being sold as found with damage and losses throughout including the tips of her wings and nose. It is at least 19th Century and possibly earlier. It is wonderful addition for any Santo/ Santos collector. This piece has been in a private collection for over 50 years. It measures approximately 26" wide and x 9 1/2" high. The plaque has a hole in each wing where it was attached to a wall and still retains one of the primitive antique nails(see last photo) There is a later metal bracket attached to the back for hanging and an old moving sticker still attached.
