This item is made around 1870. Its dimension is 14-1/2"H x 9"W. This clock has a double weight driven movement with half hour and hour striking. while the clock is running. The original painted lady on the dial is blinking her eyes. moving from side to side. You can read the time from a set of Roman numerals on an excellent condition porcelain dial. There are some beautiful inlaid on the front case. When the clock strikes, the little window on the top will open and the bird comes out and sings with animating wings. This clock is totally in original condition, not like some others you might have seen before with restored case and repainted picture ... moreframe around the dial. This is the real deal. It's really rare to find a such German Black Forest cuckoo clock in excellent original condition. Black Forest Hunter Cuckoo Clock in excellent condition. This clock runs very well and has a bird. Which pops out of his door every half-hour; he cuckoos once on the half-hour and counts the hours on the hour. Prior to his familiar“cuckoo” song, the clock chimes on a gong. When the cuckoo sings, the bird bobs up and down, then goes back in and slams the door! Also you can see the carved maple leaf pendulum swing with each passing second. The best thing about this clock is the beautiful hand painted colored front! Also rather rare is the signed maker"Bachmaier& Klemmer"on both the case and the movement. In hundreds of cuckoo clocks I have worked on or sold. I have never ... moreseen another one by this maker! The weights are heavy and shaped like pinecones– making this cuckoo clock run a full day before you need to pull them back up! The case. Dial, and movement are in great condition and the clock keeps excellent time. The handmade case is made of solid wood in great condition with the original multi-color finish. There are lots of large carvings. Complete with leaves, rabbit, pheasant, crossed rifles and a deer head on the front. These carvings make up the“Hunter” style cuckoo clock. The dial is in excellent condition with original numbers and signed Germany. The gong is original. As is the entire clock. It includes the colored leaf pendulum. Also included are the two weights to the clock. You can adjust the time to slow and fast from the pendulum. The signed(Bachmaier and Klemmer) movement is in perfect condition and has just been cleaned. Oiled and checked for proper operation. The clock looks to be all-original. I don’t know the exact age of this clock. But it was made before plastic was put into the movement and bellows. Probably made in the late 1940's or 1950's. Antique German Clock / Unusual Wall Clock / Maybe Black Forest or Otherwise
An unusual slender German wall clock; constructed of primarily walnut. Possibly oak and either poplar or Linden secondary woods; appears hand done in a small shop; but origin of the case is unknown. Very slender case measuring 27-1/2 tall,10-3/8" wide by 5-1/2" deep. One of the pc's of molding on the upper left hand side appears that it may have been replaced some years ago. The clock has the absolute mellowest gong- rings on a single chime rod- on the planet. The movement has been cleaned to ensure reliable operation and this is a fine clock. You will note some wear and tear but minor in nature' the most notably being a small gouge which although appears minor because of the way it blends in- in the area of the upper left hand side carving near the face. I did not make note of any particular markings on the movement but ... morewill check again and update the auction. There are some dents to the pendulum as shown. You'll like this one.

Antique German Dutch Black Forest Wag on the Wall Shield Clock Wood Work 18"
I'm not sure how to date this for sure but it is at least mid 1800s and may be early 1800s. A really large piece and you don't see many survive this big. The face is 18 inches tall and 12 3/4" wide and has some cracks from age. The pendulum measures 34" in length and the round bottom is 2 1/2" across. The adjustment nut is missing. When you rotate the large hand and it gets to the hour it does ding correctly and the hour hand moves in line with rotating the large had as well. When I swing the pendulum it will tick tock for a few strokes and you can see the gears are moving as appropriate. I'm sure it will need to be cleaned. Adjusted and maybe the wooden box straightened since it appears to be part of the mechanism. A great piece! Thanks for looking!

Porcelain convexed dial has some chips, cracks and repairs. Porcelain columns. The case has white paint over spray on it. Mostly on the right side of the case. The right side door is missing 1/2 of its hinge. The back of the case is missing. The time and strike movement is complete, but filthy dirty. It needs a complete servicing. The pivot holes are full of old green gunk. The mechanism strikes when the hands are turned. The clock has been lightly oiled and has been running for a number of hours. It may have been made as a clock shelf, but is nicely suited for displaying any small objects. It's a simply carved design of stylized scrolling leaf forms. The wood is beautifully darkened to a warm, deep brown. It's 15 1/8" high, 12 7/8" across and 6 1/8" deep. It has normal wear from age, including an old chip that blends in well, and a tight crack on one side of the shelf. The shelf is stable and sturdy. What you are looking at here is a German wag on wall clock. This clock is from the early to Mid 1800's. And comes straight from Germany by a collector who lived there in the 50's. This clock features a very unique Gothic black forest design to it. The dial is porcelain, and in good condition. There is a couple of missing pieces on the clock, but nothing to major. Included is 2 weights and a pendulum, I am not sure if these are original or not, but they appear to be period. The clock will run without the pendulum on, but will need to be adjusted to run with the pendulum. So please look ove r all the photo's to get a true grasp of the quality. And condition. Rare Antique Quarter Hour Chime Black Forest Bird Cuckoo Wall Clock 30 Hour
What you are looking at here is an absolutely gorgeous German Black Forest cuckoo clock. This clock is just amazing both in size and design. Dating from the turn of the century this clock is a very rare example of black forest clocks. Most German cuckoo clocks that you see date from the 30's or later. And finding on from the 1800's is very uncommon, and this clock is in amazing condition for being from the 1880's- 1900. Featured on this clock is amazingly detailed carvings of birds, and vines sprawling all over the case. 3 birds are shown on the case, two on the main clock, and 1 large bird on the crown, which is amazingly perfect! There is also a scene I have never seen before, with the 3 baby birds in the nest resting just under the dial, it also has wooden cuckoo birds. The hand appear to have been replaced at some point, but ... moreI cannot say for sure, and the case has had some past repairs, as seen in the pictures. The birds nest appears to have fallen off at one point and been glued back into place, and the bird on the right also appears to have fallen and been glued. Nothing you can really notice without looking at the clock very closely. The movement in the clock is a large 30 hour, time and strike. But this is not you're ordinary movement, it strikes not only each hour, but on the quarter hours as well. There are 3 bellows, 2 for the hour chime, and 1 for the quart hour, and two gongs as well. All bellows are good and work perfectly, and the movement has been tested for weeks without a single problem, chimes and keeps great time. This clock comes straight out of a collector of German clocks, and was purchased from Germany when the collector lived there in the 50's. He paid $1,950 for this clock in the 1950's while in Germany! Here is a unique piece of horological history. This petite wooden shield wall clock would have hung on a wall without a case. The pendulum would swing below the movement. Hence the term Wag-On-Wall clock. It has the original enamel dial and most of the original brass decorative attachments. The hands appear to be original. There is no pendulum or count wheel, and the strike chain and both weights are missing. This could be restored or used for parts in your restoration project. The overall dimensions of the shield are 5-3/4" tall by 3" wide. If the shield were intact it would measure about 4" wide. The enamel dial has a 2-1/4" diameter. Black Forest 8-DAY HUNTER Cuckoo Clock in excellent condition. This clock runs very well and has a bird. Which pops out of his door every half-hour; he cuckoos once on the half-hour and counts the hours on the hour. Prior to his familiar“cuckoo” song, the clock chimes on a gong. Vintage Paico Black Forest Style Wood Owl Wall Clock Moving Eyes 1930s Needs TLC
You are invited to bid on this lovely vintage carved wood Black Forest style novelty owl wall clock. Made by Paico in England in approximately the 1930s. It is made of a carved wooden front board in the form of a perching owl, with the workings housed in a metal box on the back. The dial is made of printed paper stuck onto the wood. The hands are metal and still bear traces of luminous paint. What makes this clock so nice is that, when working, the eyes of the owl move from side to side with each tick of the clock. To make them stand out, each eye has a blob of luminous paint in the middle. The clock measures almost 8" tall. By 4" across by 2" deep. The Paico name is on the printed dial. Unfortunately this clock does not work and is in need of some TLC. The owl itself is in good condition. The paper dial is slightly creased. ... moreI haven't opened the back to look at the workings but clearly someone has at some point. There is a quantity of chain hanging out of the bottom, but no weights. A lovely decorative vintage wooden piece despite its faults. And a fine addition to your collection. Up for auction is a vintage Black Forest Animated Water Wheel Clock. This clock is old and when the back was opened I found Stern Germany on the clockworks. The dial is stamped Germany on the the clock face. The color on the clock is fantastic. And has a deer, mushroom, flowers, and a water wheel. The original key is gone, but I was able to find a replacement key to test the clock. When tested, the clock started working and the water wheel moves continuously. The clock measures approximately 5 1/2 x 5 x 4" I believe part of at least one tree and a tiny part of the roof have chipped off as well. Up for auction is a fantastic old antique German Black Forest carved wood cuckoo clock. It has a double weight driven movement which is marked with a letter"A" Carved Roman numerals and hands which look to be made of bone. Painted and carved cuckoo bird which comes out of a little door. Large bird with an orange glass eye perched at the top with branches and leaves surrounding the dial. Beautiful clock. Amazing detail. Please see photos carefully for condition and details. Beautiful wall rack A wonderfully designed and detailed carved coat/ hat wall rack, With four roe buck feet as hangers – the holders of which carved to look like burrs – and roe buck 6 points antlers in the center. The rim of the rack carved to look like a tree limb with knotholes. The branches crossing at the base. Rack adorned with oak leaves. Acorns with cups on wood ... moregrain carving. The antlers mounted onto a realistically and detailed carved tree trunk with oak leaves. This clock is all original with the exception of the replaced front door glass and the key. Age: ca. 1885- 1890 Reference: Black Forest Clocks. Rick Wortenburger, Chapter 13, Page 246 Origin: Germany. Black Forest Size: 34" high x 14" wide x 6.5" deep overall measurements with crest on. The Crest is Removable) Body portion is 11" wide at the front door area. Description: This drop dead gorgeous. Black Forest wall Clock is the much sought after mini size- all hand carved and very ornate. The rose vines in particular are romantic and unusual. German Black Forest RA regulators were made primarily between 1870 and 1900 by a variety ... moreof highly skilled Black Forest clock makers. And as you can see by the photos. This clock is nothing less than spectacular. I have never seen one like it and it will be the focal point of any room. Many Vienna collectors refer to these RA regulators as"Vienna Style" since the case style is very similar. The front door of the clock has the very desirable"Keyhole" design. The clock is very slender and the size of a mini Vienna. And will fit in a small space. The finish is original and has a nice aged patina. There are some small and minor imperfections in the case as follows: There are three leaves that have small chips on the very tips. Two on the very bottom of case and one on the top crest. There is also a very tiny chip on a petal of one rose, left hand side of the front door) There is a small surface crack in the wood at the bottom of the door. This looks so much like it's part of the design, I almost missed it. These small imperfections are VERY minor and hard to find- all shown in close ups- nothing that detracts from the beauty of the clock. Most antique clocks sold on ebay and elsewhere will have similar minor imperfections. But many sellers do

Here for auction is what I believe to be a clock movement dated around the late 1800's. This is probably a Black Forest Wag on Wall Shield Clock. The movement appears to be in working condition with the proper repairs as it has obviously been sitting for some time. It is weight driven by 2 heavy weight drive chains which I am including. The chains alone are very nice collectable parts. The frame measures 9" tall x 6" wide. If anyone out there knows about this clock I would love to know where it is from and how old it is. Be sure to have a look at our other items! This is a rare. Very nice, old, working, wood wall clock that was produced in the Black Forest of Germany about 70 years ago and signed on the movement by"Helmut Kammerer. The clock is made from cured and aged Linden wood and is designed to look very much like Little Red Riding Hood complete with a picnic basket.and the Wolf, of course; just charming! The front of the case is lavished with colorful flowers and green forest accents. The dial has a brown and black backdrop and features white Roman numerals to mark the hours and fancy white hands to point out the time. The ... moreback has a wooden cover over the movement and a wooden door that slides open to allow access to the weight driven mechanical movement. A weight driven movement simply means the clock chain needs to be pulled occasionally to wind the clock. The clock works just fine and keeps good time too though being an old clock and we don't know the service history, some adjustments or service may be necessary once the clock arrives at its new home. It's been working fine in my office all week and I'm sure it will do the same for you. Nonetheless, we always advise our clock customers to service their antique or vintage clocks at least once every three years. Doing so will preserve a classic clock like this one and keep it running strong. The clock comes complete as shown with one set of attached metal chains, a wire pendulum and bob, and one rather heavy pinecone shaped metal weight. I've looked the clock over fairly well and can't find any damage or repairs though it does show minor wear. It is an impressive old clock that is gorgeous on the wall. It's the ideal size too measuring about 10" high(not counting the weight or pendulum) about 2 1/2" at its deep

LARGE Vintage Cuckoo Clock German Black Forest Linden Wooden Wall w/ Nest
A large vintage German manufactured Cuckoo Clock featuring 3 large birds and 2 baby birds in a nest. The clock is in excellent condition and is made from very thick Black Forest linden wood carvings. The bird's door opens and"cuckoos" once at the bottom of each hour and"cuckoos" at the top of the hour(once for each hour) All clock parts are in very good condition. The bellows(which are like flutes that produce the cuckoo sound) Chime, chains and weights are in great shape. The time movement is working fine and keeps good time. Once moved, the clock may require some adjustments or service(typical for these types of clocks) This clock has a great feel to it with its thick Linden Wood carving and is a fantastic example of German Black Forest Linden Wood Workmanship. It is a rare, head-turning beautifully carved cuckoo ... moreclock that will be a great addition to any home or office. Two pinecone shaped weights suspended on long chains and power the clock. Before the weights reach the end of the chains, simply pull the chains to raise the weights back up the bottom of the clock carving to continue daily clock use. The clock has a leaf carving attached to the swinging pendulum which slides up or down on the shaft(up for faster and down for slower) to help fine tune the time movement. Measures a very large 18-1/2 long by 14 wide by 7 deep.

RARE ANTIQUE MINIATURE STRIKING AND ALARM BLACK FOREST WALL CLOCK Description: This miniature Black Forest wall clock has a wooden dial that measures just about 5-1/4" in diameter. The tiny wooden plated movement measures 4-1/4" 108 mm. by 4-1/4" 108 mm. by 2-1/4" 57mm. has both full striking and an alarm on a small bell. The collets of the wheelwork are wooden which is a sign of an early clock. There are missing parts. Namely the minute wheel and some parts of the alarm mechanism, and there is old woodworm damage to the frame. The alarm setting disc is clearly not original and it looks as though a previous restorer has started to make a correct design brass disk(see image of weights) The three weights that you can see came in the box that the clock was in. So I have no idea whether they are original to the clock. There ... moreare no side doors or chains. The mahogany surround is superbly turned and most unusually. There is a key operated bezel lock let into the surround in the style of a mid 1800,s English dial clock The bezel is cast brass and the convex glass needs to be plastered in. So it may not be original. The painting on the wooden dial looks to be original and in very good order. The typically shaped Black Forest hands are steel. Again an unusual feature that again suggests an early date of manufacture. This clock will make a very rewarding restoration project and the finished result should be a very fine. Offered is an antique wall clock made of wood gear and rock weights. It is marked on the front Anno 1640 and marked Made in Germany on the face. It is one of the first clocks and only has one hand for hour. It is very interesting and unique. All wood gears and construction. It is marked on the back"Cocko Clock Mfg Co Inc, No Jewels Unadjusted West Germany" It measures 15 1/4" long without weights and 6 1/4" wide.
