You are bidding on an antique or vintage pipe cabinet. The Cabinet itself appears to be Walnut or Oak while the sides and the bottoms and front liners of the three drawers are Cedar. The panels in the doors are free floating in their frames. The metal fittings with the exception of the latch are steel or chromed steel. The door latch is Brass. The screws are all steel straight slot that look like they were blued originally. The lock. Antique French Fashion Colored Engraving Print Eastlake Victorian Walnut Frame
Estate sale found antique circa 1880's French fashion engraving in a Eastlake Victorian walnut frame in very good condition. This print is marked at the bottom"PL LXXV Bureaux Berlin W. Wilhelmstrasse" The engraving print looks hand colored and has no stains or blemishes. The solid walnut with gold frame is in good condition except for a couple small areas of chipped off black japanning which is set over a gesso base coat. These minor flaws are all shown up close in the photos. The back shows a one piece this piece of thin wood that I believe is original but has been put back with the original inside surface facing out as the oxidation color is not as dark as the rest of the bare wood. I say this because some layers of old magazine pages are seen under the wood panel that someone put in some years back to pad out the print to ... morekeep it flat and take up the space created by the wood shrinkage from age. The print measures approx. 10" x 8" the frame is 14+5/8" x 12+3/4" x 2+3/4" thick. Displays well, a great addition to any collection. Will be shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking included. This sale is for an ANTIQUE walnut oval frame with a gilded gold leaf inset. This fame is nicely dovetailed and comes with glass. There is no wood back. Aprox 14 1/2" at the longest point and 12 1/2" at the shortest. There is an 8" x 10" cut out on the back to accomodate a rectangular picture. We see no damge such as crack chips etc. The gold leaf show some wear but still very nice in our opinion. This is a 150 year old frame. It has the patina and wear associated with it's age. We have another exact frame with a fashion print. We will include insurance on items over $20 and always include tracking.

There are spoon carvings and reeding on the ornate crest and framing the mirror. The mirror is in good condition with just a little fogging and a dark patch across the top portion right next to the upper edge. It’s in nice shape for a mirror of this age. Pretty antique walnut jewellery box or sewing box with inlay on the top. It has working lock and key. The inside is lined with the original purple paper and there is a tray with comparments(the covers have been relined in purple silk) pine has been polished up and has a lovely colour which contrast well with the purple velvet and silk interior. The box is in very good condition. There is a tiny bit of bruising on the inlay. Left side and a few tiny nibbles to the edge of the top. There are some very well done and very inconspicuous repairs to the veneer, the largest of which is along the bottom of the front. Over all it is a very pretty little box. DESCRIPTION: Set of(4) beautiful antique victorian walnut chairs. Price is for the set. These are hand carved solid walnut with nuts and grapes on the back rail. They date from late 1800's to early 1900's. They have been reupholstered in a tapestry material. Chairs are in very good sturdy condition. One chair has a tiny piece of wood missing at a joint as shown in photos. Finish appears to be original with two chairs having some minor areas where the finish has lifted in a spotty pattern as shown in the photos. But this does not detract from the beauty of the chairs. Chairs are 36 in. high overall. Seat is 18 in. high, 18 in. wide and 17 1/2 in. deep. Weight is 15 lbs each chair. There are small nicks or scratches on the bottom of the legs as would be expected from age and use. I have tried to describe as best I can. Staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
