Offered for your consideration is this Seth Thomas"Red Rosewood" patterned Adamantine 8-day Time and Strike Mantel Clock. It is in excellent condition with very minor age and use related flaws. Low Starting Bid with low"Buy It Now" option for a clock in this restored condition. There will be NO unpleasant surprises waiting for the Buyer of this clock! This is an unusual model which as far as we can tell is unlisted. It has style elements of both the Seth Thomas"Hull" and"Roslyn" But it is a different model. The bottom of this clock has what appears to be a date code, but it's not fully legible. We read it as March(C" of 1915 but we're not certain of that. The clock has what appears to be the original, highly reliable Seth Thomas No. 89 AD. ANTIQUE EARLY 1900s FRENCH ROSEWOOD MARQUETRY INLAY TULIP TABLE CARVED ROSES LEG
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. OLD, French inlay marquetry table. This wonderful accent table features a combination of mahogany and rosewood. There is a unique inlay design on the table top which features a tulip flower at each of the 4 corners. The table is oblong, not square, with rounded curves that soften the lines. The top is skirted on each side with an inlay design on the 2 longer skirted sections. The delicate cabriole legs feature a carved rose and leaf drapery detail on the upper sections with additional carving on the lower regions. The table is quite nice and is in good condition. There are some signs of age/use on the finish. These do not distract from the table and do add to its"antique character" These can be resolved, if you prefer, with a little stain and a top coat of varnish. As is common with these ... moretables, it is not heavy. It is structurally very good. THE TABLE IS STUNNING! The table measures 24" wide at the top. Antique Seth Thomas Adamantine Rosewood Mantle Clock, pendulum & key NR
This is a nice Seth Thomas mantle clock. The Adamantine is in great condition with only a few minor chipped edges along the lower region of the clock. It is very difficult to find the brittle Adamantine rosewood finish in such good condition. I believe the clock is all original with key and pendulum. The original label is inside the rear cover; it has the numbers 296-C M.P. 73990 on the upper left corner and a patent date of September 7. 1880. The movement is stamped 89C and Made In US America. The clock runs for several minutes, then stops. I presume it needs oiling and a cleaning. It stands 9 ¾ inches tall. Check my feedback. This buttery smooth rosewood burl opium ta ble was gotten by my aunt and uncle when they lived in Shanghai. China in 1930. After being in storage since 1994. I have rubbed it thoroughly with a crushed walnut in the old method of wood care. It has a very lovely surface. See photos as part of description. It measures 18-1/4 inches in length x 11-3/4 inches in width x 6 inches in height. It weighs about 8-1/4 pounds. So to calculate shipping to your destination you need to figure about 10 pounds.

Up for auction is a beautiful nest of 3 high quality plant or flower stands made of quality solid rosewood with solid burl wood inlay accenting the top surface. No cheap veneer work. Everything is solid wood and hand carved. Good vintage condition showing normal age wear with a few vintage repairs and each of the burl wood inserts has a crack somewhere as described in the item description above. The largest stand measures approximately 19 inches tall and is approximately 6 3/4 inches x 6 3/4 inches square. The second largest stand measures approximately 17 1/4 inches tall and is approximately 5 1/2 x 5/2 inches square. Please look at the inlaid metal and wood on the lid. There appears to hears inlaid on the centre of the lid. There are a few places on the lid where the metal inlay has been lost and replaced or repainted. The lock is not functioning and the pin is loose. It could be tightened and repaired but I do not want to tamper with it in any way. It closes and does not lock(which is a good thing making it possible to use the box) Please look at the pictures as there are little nicks on this piece that in my opinion do not detract from the looks of it. It is in restored condition with replaced brass fittings and a small amount of stringing has also been replaced. Despite being restored it still has the blemishes of age and it retains a sense of character and age beneath a new wax finish. Vintage c.1905 Washburn Brazilian Rosewood Antique Parlor Guitar
Vintage c. 1905 Washburn guitar in very good restored condition. Adirondack spruce top with herringbone inlays for the rosette and purflings. Very nice straight grained Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Mahogany neck. Ebony peghead overlay. Fingerboard, and bridge. Pearl position markers. Ebony and pearl bridge pins. The length is 37" Width is 12 1/4" the scale is 24 1/4" and the neck is 1 13/16" at the nut. Very good restored condition. The original top to this guitar was damaged beyond repair and has been replaced with a new top of Adirondack spruce. This spruce was harvested in the early 90's. So is approximately 20 years old and well seasoned. It was rebuilt with the original Z bracing pattern and has the original bridge. The back and sides are in very good condition with no cracks or apparent repairs. It has ... morebeen refinished with a hand applied shellac polish. There are a few small scratches and dings, but overall in very good shape for 100+ years. The neck has been reset to the correct angle and the action is very good with a string height of 1/8" at the 12th fret. There is plenty of saddle height to lower it further in the future if needed. Both the nut and saddle are bone and are new. It has had a partial re-fret with the first three frets replaced and the others leveled. Plays very well with an excellent tone- very nice! A case is not included with this. But it will be carefully packed for secure shipping. The standard shipping rate is for US only. The case is 16 1/4" wide. 9 1/2" tall and 5 1/8" deep. This clock was produced in two different colors and this one is the rosewood shade. The bezel is brass and is clean and polished. The clock has a painted dial. The dial background is white with black Arabic numerals and it says SETH THOMAS above the hands and MADE IN U.S.A. at the bottom under the"6" The movement is a SETH THOMAS#89 movement and it's stamped as such on the lower right of the back plate. It also has the ST logo. This is an 8-day spring-driven mechanical movement that strikes once on the half hour on a cathedral gong mounted in the bottom of the case. Then it strikes the appropriate ... morenumber on the hours. Now as to condition, it's very nice for an old clock like this. The case is nice but does have some minor chips in the adamantine on the corners. The worst is the back left edge of the base and that's about 1/4" Please see the pictures as I've tried to photograph the edges to give you an idea. The dial is nice and not washed out from use or someone trying to clean it improperly like some are. It does have a little bit of soiling mostly around the winding arbor holes(please see pictures) The glass crystal is held in by two brass keepers that are soldered onto the inside of the bezel. One is missing, but the one that's still there seems to hold the glass in with no problem. They're easy to replace. The hands don't match and I'm not sure which is the original so please see the pictures to make your determination. Movement-wise, it's running well and keeping pretty good time. The strike also works well. The movement looks pretty good and doesn't have much wear. Also, it hasn't been abused but could most likely stand a cleaning. Nice early drafting set in rosewood case. It has a brass plaque inscribed Walter Nelson. I can't make out middle initial. It appears to be missing a couple pieces. There is some light rust that can be cleaned up. It also has a protractor with Nelson's name inscribed in it. The escutcheon where the key goes is missing and lock is a little loose. REDUCED - Antique Chinese Reverse Painted Crystal Sphere with Rosewood Stand
Beautifully detailed. Reverse painted crystal ball. I purchased this at an estate auction, it is at least 60 years old, they knew nothing else about it and I have been searching for information ever since. I believe this is glass, I am no expert but there are no bubbles, scratches etc. The only thing is a small, what sort of looks like a bullet hole an inch from the opening in the bottom of the piece. Actually I just noticed it for the first time when I was inspecting it to photograph and I have had it for years. It does not go very far into the glass and you cannot feel it on the surface. Maybe it was dropped at some time by someone and this is the damage. It in NO WAY detracts from the exceptional beauty of the item. The globe is 13 1/2 inches in diameter and is perfectly round. The entire inside is painted in a diaphenous gold color(background) ... moreand has many people dressed in shades of orange and green, umbrellas, a horse, boats, beautiful trees, the roofs of buildings, Chinese lettering(in black) Chinese symbols(in red) water and land. The colors are muted yet very distinctive. There are lots of geometric shapes, designating the rooftops of buildings and what apears to be a wall or fence. The workmanship is impeccable and the detailing is extremely intricate. Unfortunately my description pales in comparison to the real thing and cannot do it justice. The chest sits on a small stand to elevate it from the floor, I don't know that it is original with the chest. Inside the chest is a metal lining, I am told it is lead. There is a label on the lid for"Benson and Hedges, Importer of Havana Cigars and Egyptian Cigars" there is an address for London and for Park Avenue in New York City, between Holland House and Waldorf Astoria, at the bottom of the label it says Pat'd 1901. updated information from a fellow ebayer- I have collected and restored many B&H humidors over the years. Part of an old estate that I am liquidating is this 19th Cent. Antique Chinese Rosewood(Hardwood Stool Bamboo Motif Carving. It is in good condition. It measures 19 inches high and 16-1/2 inches in diameter. Very heavy because of the marble and the wood. See also my other items this week. THIS IS NICE ANTIQUE E. N. WELCH MANTEL CLOCK CASE. IT IS IN GOOD OVERALL CONDITION WITH SOME WEAR ISSUES. THIS IS A CASE ONLY. THE CASE DOES NOT HAVE ANY OBVIOUS REPAIRS THAT I SAW. WE JUST TREATED THE WOOD WITH A SPECIAL WOOD CONDITIONER MADE FOR ANTIQUE CLOCKS. THE ORIGINAL FINISH IS IN GOOD CONDITION. THE CASE HAS BEEN AROUND FOR OVER 100 YEARS AND DOES HAVE THE USUAL DIGS AND SCRATCHES. IN THE 4TH PHOTO YOU SHOULD SEE A VERY SMALL CHIP IN THE RIGHT CORNER. IT HAS AGED WITH THE CLOCK SO. I'M SURE IT HAPPENED A LONG TIME AGO. THE OTHER ISSUE ON THE CASE IS THAT SOMEONE HAD THIS MOUNTED ON THE WALL, AND THERE ARE SOME HOLES ON THE BACK OF THE ROSEWOOD CASE. ONE OF THEM A BIT LARGER THAT THE OTHERS. THESE CLOCKS WERE COMMONLY MOUNTED IN A KITCHEN, ON THE WALL TO SAVE PRECIOUS COUNTER SPACE) THE PAPER LABEL IS ALMOST 100% THERE AND VERY ... moreLEGIBLE. THE REVERSE PAINT GLASS IS IN GREAT SHAPE. BUT JUST A LITTLE LOOSE AT THE BOTTOM. WE WILL MAKE SURE IT IS PACKED WELL. THIS CASE MEASURES 11 1/8" TALL X 7 3/16" WIDE X 3 9/16" DEEP. Vintage antique Lyon and Healy bowl back mandolin in very good shape. Lovely MOP Mother of Pearl inlay. I don't see any cracks or issues that affect playability or cosmetic as well. Plate is worn off on back of mandolin from years of use. Some of varnish is gone from front– again from years of use. Came from person who played this instrument. Belive it to be in working order though not sure if you would need to replce strings. a

First. The Buy It Now price is a joke. well not really, but I am looking for some guidance as to who made this chair. I know it is pre-1900 and that is highly carved and that the frame is rosewood. I'm not sure if the fabric is original. The dimensions are 44" tall at the back of the chair x 31" wide across the arms x 33" deep x 16" tall to the top of the seat. Now.
