Art Deco Retro Brooch Lot Repair Craft AB Rivoli Rhinestones Floral Boucher ?
These are fabulous old brooches. But each one needs some attention or repair(missing stones, missing clasp at back, broken piece.etc. If you repair things like this, the lot is very appealing, and even if you don't repair, the stones or pieces are wonderful for a crafter. There is only 1 here with a signature.and I think it may be a Boucher stemmed floral, but it is so tough to decifer whether that's a B followed by numbers.or if it is letters.sorry, I've tried and tried, I just can't get it! There is 1 brooch here that may be just fine, I just wasn't sure if it was, that's the BIG RED ONE with huge AURORA BOREALIS stone and other smaller AB's. It's 2 3/4" long and clasp works fine.beautiful! The other LARGE RED BROOCH has 1 missing main stone and missing the clasp. It's 2 1/2" tall. That STEMMED ... moreFLORAL is missing 2 stones and there is a chip on the side of the center Rivoli stone.but it's absolutely a gorgeous brooch, 2 1/4" tall and the colors in those rivoli stones underneath there are incredible! That's the signed one I can't read! The YELLOW RHINESTONE one WAS perfect.that piece snapped right off in my hand.it's a beauty though, 2" across with a domed shape. clasp is fine) and the LARGE WHITE RHINESTONE brooch is missing that one stone, it's 2 1/4" across with a working clasp and that center sits up high and gives the brooch great dimension. Up for auction is a wonderful. Rare vintage Hopi Art& Crafts Silvercraft Cooperative Guild sterling silver& Turquoise cuff bracelet& matching earrings by Paul Saufkie. Sr. Paul Saufkie(Shungopavi) learned his trade from his father. Andrew Humiquaptewa, and taught veterans' classes in silvermaking at Oraibi from 1948-1950. He made very little silver for fifteen years, but continued working until 1993. His hallmark is of a snow cloud. The Hopi Arts and Crafts Silvercraft Cooperative Guild located on Second Mesa is a non-profit membership organization that helps members promote their arts and crafts. The Guild has been instrumental in training individuals who now sell their own work in private shops located throughout the mesas.
