I do not know the exact age, but I believe the tiles and marble mostly date to around 1880-1910. This washstand comes in two separate pieces; 1)The marble top, wood and tile backsplash; 2) wood cabinet base that is supported by four nicely turned legs on original convenient casters. Naturally this piece has some minor imperfections but overall it is in very good cosmetic and structural condition; it is strong and sturdy. Not sure of the type of wood. But this spacious cabinet opens with two paneled doors. The doors are beautifully adorned with the original ornate bronze pulls that show a lovely patina. The cabinet finish may not be original. I have owned this for 30 years and never refinished it, I don't know what was done prior. The marble top is one solid beautiful piece. It is ¾" thick with straight edges. The veining color is in shades of browns. Burgundy and creams. It is the original marble top and is among the nicest to be seen. It is very heavy as it sits on top of the cabinet. The backsplash is attached to the marble with screws from underneath. But. The best thing about this is the gorgeous set of original Art Nouveau hand-made, hand-painted glazed tiles. The floral designs are raised and detailed with a 3-D look; these original tiles are in great condition, and the colors as well as the Art Nouveau design, complement the cabinet perfectly. The tiles show light crazing and only one shows a hairline crack. I have not removed any tiles to see if they are marked, but this piece is worth the price

The overall size is 40.5 inches long, 24 inches wide when the leaves are closed, 15 inches wide on each leaf, 52 inches long when the leaves are flipped up. The finish is very nice for being 180 years old. It does show normal nicks, dings and scratches, but I believe it would rub out nicely to make a good presentation.

Rustic and charming hand-crafted antique barn wood and plow parts table
I can't throw away history so I repurposed antique and vintage materials to make this one-of-a-kind table and built it to last another century. I left it unstained in case someone wants a different finish on it. The wheels work so it is easy to move. It is available for pickup in the Nashville area. Anyone outside the area may purchase but pay the shipping costs but I will gladly pack it and ship it for you at the service of your preference. This is an antique table from an abandoned storage unit. It seems to be an exam table of some type possibly. But not sure(was told an old birthing table, but there are no stirrups, but place where they could have been attached) It has drawers that open from either side and under the padded top there is a cylinder like opening of some sort. I have no idea what this really is so ask me any questions and I will try to answer and/or get more pictures. Really kind of neat. It measures approximately 30 inches tall with the cushion-29 without and is approximately 3 feet long and 20 inches wide. The cushions have been wet and there is some damage to the bottom on one side, see photos. It is missing one drawer pull on one side and the other side has no drawer pulls at all. Possibly a restoration project?

Beautiful walnut marble top stand. Center table, lamp table with a great base. The top shape is unusual. It is flat on the long sides and has an architectural curved shape on the ends. Wood base matches shape of marble. Marble is not attached to base. Both pieces are original, no screws, no broken pieces, minor fissures from age. Stable, sturdy base. There is a fissure on the very bottom underneath in the center. Original to piece as it's been repaired with a nail that matches all other nails. No chips on the corners of the marble. One small fissure in one corner. Like a shallow chip. Does not distract from piece. Two very small scratches next to this. Normal slight surface scratches normal for a piece this age. Very cool Shabby chic side or end table. This table has been faux finished and came out great. The surface shows amazing depth and age, along with some crackling. I am not sure of the actual age of this little table, Id guess its from the 50s or 60s, it is solid wood and a very sound sturdy tabe. It has been finished in an earthy tan tone paint and glazed with black antiquing glaze, it brings out some gray tones and the black helps show surface wear and crackling. My mom bought it a long time ago. I've recently moved and it's showing it's age. It needs to be restored by someone with some woodworking experience. Once of the little overhangs is loose and there are some parts of wood on the bottom that have started to wear off. The top surface itself is actually in great shape, and probably only needs some cleaning and polishing. Other than what the tag says, I know nothing about the table or it's origin. I do have a very rudimentary base that I built to hold the table. Antique French Cherry& Dark Wood.Very Ornate, 3-Drawer Side Table with Inlaid"Floral" Marquetry work and GORGEOUS very hard to find Rose Marble Top. Made in France is painted on the underside of marble and also the top of the table. This is a superb piece whose value only increases as the years go by. I've seen pieces not nearly as nice as this one go for thousands. Incredibly! The drawers have"key holes" for a"skeleton key" but no keys and I don't think it was meant to actually function with locks. Although. The inside DOES have a lock looking mechanism ... morein the front of each drawer. I was never one to tally in locks and didn't care to investiage. Who locks drawers anway? Legs have lovely iron engraved attachments on them, such a pretty feature! I purchased this table many years ago at a very good auction house for over 1400.00 after all the buy ins. My high bid was between 1000/1500. But of course there were a few other people who wanted it.and of course that made me want it more.lol.I"had to have it"lol I was pleased it didn't hit 1500.that was my cap! lol. Fourteen hundred plus bucks. And a very satisfied grin later. I was on my way home with the piece: I've never looked back. Sometimes we regret spending money. But this wasn't one of those times. I've always loved this one and right now I need to sell some furniture because I am downsizing as well ans money is very tight. Sometimes you just have to let things go and give it new life. Tiled Art-Deco Antique Table
This is a heavy antique table that was tiled in an Art-Deco style and it has a"Sterling Quality" seal at the bottom of the table. Alot of hard work put into this project but moved to a new place and have no space to put it in. There are 2 small tiles missing along one corner(please refer to picture#4) that can be easily replaced and the wooden stand has started to crack thus with the tape.
