Made by the Hamilton Company. Of Two Rivers, WI. marked on the metal tag on the center bar) Its versatile, and fully adjustable, whole top raises up and down, and tips back and forth to either side. Can be stood straight up and down too for using as a display for drawings or artwork. I think it makes an amazing table when its set up flat! It locks down properly, its sturdy, solid, quality built. Its all original and in good working condition. Complete, no missing hardware or parts. The top measures 48" x 38" Center point of table when adjusted flat can be set up in height anywhere from 32-1/2" to 41" The table/desk top is plywood with what appears to be a maple veneer. It appears to have had a border around the edges at some point, missing now, leaving the edges discolored. Could use some restoration or could be replaced easy enough. Wood parts have some character from age and use but still looks great overall. Structurally sound. No cracks or repairs. They just don't make them like this anymore! Whether your looking for a work area, drafting table, kitchen island or table, something to do your crafting on, a place to put together a puzzle or play a game, this would make a nice addition to your home, office, garage. Flat table sections are teak veneers over solid wood(mahagony? ... moreedge band on table and all other elements of table and chairs are solid teak. I would guess this table is from circa 1970. Table and leaves are 3/4" thick. Table apron 1 1/2" thick and table legs 2" thick. All pieces are in very good shape, but show normal wear. The table surfaces are a bit dry and would improve tremendously with a good application of teak oil. The chair seats are in nice shape. I assume they have been recovered at some time. Table is 28" high and 47" in diameter. 87" long end to end with both leaves installed. Chairs are 30 1/2" high at back with 17 1/2" at the seat. Seat is 19 3/4" wide and 18 1/2" deep. Table leaves are beautifully bookmatched and the chairs and table section are joined with contrasting(rosewood? inserts. Table and table leaves have quality solid brass receiving holes and pegs to give a solid and quality surface. Latches underneath add to the quality and give a very solid table when fully extended. This is a fine piece of Danish modern furniture from Dyrlund. The round shape works very well with smaller spaces. Yet the leaves enable you to have seating for eight when you need it. Local pickup only. I'm also selling a Danish teak entertainment center(or bar? so look for that if you are interested. The original 4 piece protective pad that I have does not allow for the extra center leaves. This table has only a couple of very minor flaws: a couple of watermarks on the top. And a couple of minor abrasions to the legs at chair seat height. These are just flaws in the finish only-there are no scratches, gouges, chips, cracks or repairs to this original condition, elegant piece. The 2 original leveling feet for the center support are missing. Once again lighting and photographing this piece presented a bit of a challenge for me. Here is a description of the table: The travertine marble top sits atop a wood. Triangle-shaped base. I’m not sure what kind of wood this is. It is finished a pale blond color. The base is very sturdy. The white travertine marble top is a triangle shape with rounded corners. It is more than an inch thick and very heavy. The marble has grooves and holes in it.
