Pair of Nice Vintage Antique Wooden Folding Slat Chairs Light Natural Finish
This is a very nice pair of vintage folding slat chairs that are in very good condition. Both are strong and sturdy and easily fold up flat for storage or portability. I am not really good at identifying types of wood. So I don't know what kind was used for these chairs. They are both identical and the wood has a light natural finish in very good condition. They are a little scuffed around the bottoms of the legs from use, but the rest of the chairs show very little wear. When folded, they measure 14 1/2" W x 32" H. When they are open, they measure 14 1/2" L x 16" W x 27 1/2" H, and the top of the seat is 14 1/2" off the ground. They are a little smaller than the average chair that is used today, but I don't think they are child size, they would be good for a large child or a small to medium sized adult.

Two vintage childrens folding chairs. Wooden, with slats. Don't know exactly how old they are. If I had to guess I'd say probably the 1950's. Condition is very good. Structurally sound but could probably use a cleaning. They measure approx. 24" high at the back when unfolded with a 12" seat height. These are from the late 1920's/ early 1930's. They are marked Made in Czechoslovakia. They are a nice golden brown patina. Perfect for the kids at the beach or in the backyard. Wow.back in the heyday of the Beatles. The Rolling Stones and, yes, Hermans Hermits, these wonderful seats were. Probably busy roaming the hills and dales of the English countryside. A previous and inventive owner. Salvaged these bucket seats and gave them a new lease on life as a unique pair of office chairs. They exhibit the wonderful patina of age that shows itself in leather and wood and that cannot be duplicated artificially. LOT OF 3 VTG SLAT SLATTED SEAT BACK WOOD WOODEN FOLDING CHAIRS EUC
Beautiful old chairs with quaint slatted seats and two wider slats for the back. These are in really good physical shape. They are very sturdy and will hold a good size full grown man or woman, I had my boyfriend sit in them and move around a little just to check for rickety-ness and there was none, he is over 200 lbs. I didn't measure them but they are your average chair size, when put next to an average table they are the proper size. There is one chair that has one slat in the seat that sits a little lower than the others, it might be warped or perhaps it has just been knocked out of line, I didn't mess with it much, but I took photos of the slat in the photo with the chair folded up, and with the backside facing the camera, I zoomed in on it so that it could be seen. As to the finish on the wood as seen in the photos they are ... morelosing a little of their original varnish and I didn't want to refinish them as sometimes this devalues antiques, they could definitely use some sort of oil, the wood seems a little dry, and there are some surface scratches as one would expect in a chair of this age. The mechanic of the chair are great, they fold up and out smoothly, they have been stored inside and unused for the last 10 years that I have had them and don't appear to have ever been kept outside. These would look great on a porch or deck or inside in a mission style décor or if you are planning an old fashioned wedding, I am not sure but they look a lot like the old chairs that churches used to use for extra seating. The Table folds and retracts smoothly. 2 of the chairs have particle board crack(See Photos) and will need to be repaired. The Stakmore Company is still in existance and if you needed them repaired it will cost you 15 dollars a chair to replace the part. Pretty simple task. Antique Cane Chairs - Primitive Wooden 1880s ornate hand carved
This set of 4 Antique Primitive chairs were hand crafted in the late 1800's in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania. They are really unique beautiful chairs. Lots of elegant hand carvings adorn the back and arm rests as well as under the seat. The seat measures 18" from the floor and over all chair height is 33" 3 of the 4 have recently been recaned. These would be a beautiful set for a dining table or for desk chairs. As they are over 120 years old they do show some age however it appears to be only minor cosmetic issues. Structurally these chairs are solid. I have sat in all four for an extended period to make sure. Please refer to the photos to judge condition for yourself. If you have any questions. Please ask. c1900 Hospital Ward, Iron Beds, Wooden Chairs, Fireplace Photograph
This is a very old photograph of what appears to be a hospital ward. There are white iron beds with a wooden chair next to each bid. There is a fireplace which must have been to provide heat. There are also stands next to each bid and a fan in the ceiling. It is pretty grim! There are 18 beds as close together as possible. There is no indication of the place. Photographer or date the picture was taken. The image itself is 6& 3/4" by about 5" It is glued to a gray mat which has alittle foxing. There are no tears, bends, creases or writing on the piece. There is no information on the back.

Set of 4 Mid Century Leg O Matic Airstream Folding Wooden Chairs
Complete set of 4 Leg O Matic Airstream folding wood chairs Yellow floral vinyl upholstery in good condition All labels are attached and in good condition All function properly Offered for your consideration is a complete set of four Leg O Matic Airstream Trailer folding wood chairs. These chairs are of excellent quality made by the Bridgeport. Connecticut Company of Leg-o-Matic. They were first patented on August 16, 1933. The family company was established in the 1930's and went out of business in the late 1950's sometime after the death of its founder, John Kovats. These were offered as an option by Airstream dealers and would complete a fitting or restoration of an Airstream nicely. The wood is in original condition. Not refinished or painted. One chair has some damage to the wood on the back of the chair(pictures 3& 4 show ... moreclose-up of damage) The folding metal mechanisms. Show little wear and no rust and all work perfectly. The hinges could use some oil but I'll leave that up to the buyer as well. There's a tension bar that is pulled which releases a latch interconnected with a series of metal frames which then lock in place. Folding back up is done in reverse and only takes seconds. Each chair measures about 19 1/2" x 16 1/2" x 4 1/2" folded. And weigh about ten pounds each. The stain is a light blonde color(Ivory 102 per the label) which is less common than other colors. Also the chair back is made of wood unlike the less expense and more common rattan backed chairs. The labels. Still affixed to the bottom of each chair(see photo) show the style and color.
