Vintage Wax Dolls Grandma/Grandpa in Wooden Chairs
Vintage pair of wax dolls sitting in wooden chairs. There are no maker marks on either that i can find. They are slightly over 13' high sitting in chair. Both sets of clothes are aged. Somewhat stained, but not brittle. Both wear eye glasses. Her.flowered dress. Bib apron, eye glasses, braided hair, knitting bag on lap, black shoes. Him.trousers. Collared shirt with tie, belt, black shoes, eye glasses, newspaper on lap written in Spanish. A small hole near his mouth where perhaps a cigarette once was. Unfortunately I do not have the cigarette to include in this sale. He may also have had some facial hair at one time. But no longer does. He also has a split/crack on the left side of his head above his ear(see photo) Both dolls have somewhat elongated fingers that may have lost their shape a little over time. 2 Vintage Strombecker Folding Wooden Chairs for 8" Dolls
This is a lot of 2 little Strombecker folding wooden chairs. I believe they were used for 8" dolls like Ginny. Muffie, Wendy and others. They are in very good used condition. The only real"issue" I can see is that"glue" was put on some joints and not wiped off well. I decided not to try and either clean or chip it off. I will leave that up to the new owner. The wood is oak with the same color of wicker on the backing. The seat is a light beige in color and believe that it is a type of vinyl. The folding collapsible bars are all in good condition and works great. The measurement for the chair in standing position is as follows: 32" tall and 16" wide the seat is 16 1/2" wide at the front and 14" wide at the back. Two Vintage Handmade Handpainted Miniature Wooden Chairs
Two adorable handmade. Handpainted miniature wooden chairs. They appear to be handmade because even though they match, they have differences. All of the gold paint is hand painted. The flowers on the backs of the chairs are an applique. These were an estate sale find, so I have no idea on the age. They stand about 5" tall, the seats are 2 1/2" high and measure about 2 5/8" x 2 7/8" These are slightly larger than normal dollhouse scale. I put them in my own dollhouse and they just appear to be slightly too big. They are adorable and would look great with some small vintage dolls displayed on them. This is a beautiful. Hand crafted in Mexico, one piece table, that sits on two big wooden pedestals. Notice the finish on the far end seems to be a little brighter than the closer side. We don't know why, we bought this at an estate sale ten years ago the way it is, which is beautiful. The chairs are wooden arm chairs with a microfiber padded beige seat. Very comfortable.
