Up for auction is a darling antique wooden child's or doll's rocking chair. It has a very deco looking carved pattern on the upper back with spindles. The original woven seat is present but needs repaired. I am thinking a small woven rug would look great to cover it if you don't wish to spend the money for repairs. I don't know if the finish is original or not. I've taken photos so you can check it out. There are some numbers written on the bottom that do no appear to be original markings. I will be listing several items from this same estate. He collected art work, rugs, walking canes, pottery, glass wear, primitives, collectibles, etc. Nice 1950's wood child's rocker. The family told me it was purchased new in the early 1950's and was their chair when they were little. Black with gold decor or house. Cow, fence, chicken, tree, sun, and birds and flowers. Measures 16" wide across the top piece. The rocker pieces on the bottom measure 24" and this is about 26" tall. Wood spokes. Rocks nice. Condition-nice preowned condition. Needs a good cleaning! There are some scrape marks. I have tried to capture ... morethem in the picture. There is also paint rub throughout, actually giving it a nicer old look. I carefully inspect all items. Up for bidding is a Victorian style folding rocker Possibly Made by Albert M. Lock& Son. Inc. 80 Canal St. Boston 14, Mass. It Dates between 1920's-1930's. Solid wood construction which seems to be cherry? has a medium brownish stained finish and very sturdy. Hand carved back and spindled wood support cross bars in the front and back. Beautiful floral print design tapestry fabric with a decorative trim. which appears to be in good condition but may need some cleaning. The bottom of the seat material is in need of cleaning. This was purchased at an estate sale. The rocker is very sturdy. But. One side of the seat which shows it has separated a little. Has a minor crack. With a little tlc it will show its beauty. Vintage Wicker Rattan Rocking Chair with Bottom Seat Springs, Design in Back
Up for bid is this very vintage wicker rattan rocker. The rockers themselves are wood. This rocker is handmade and is probably from the 1930's or the 1940's. It has an attractive geometric design woven into the front of the chair's back. I do not see any broken wicker, so it is in great shape for its age. It is missing a great deal of paint due to its age. Underneath the seat are metal corner seat supports and metal springs. All the metal pieces are rusted, but they do not appear to be broken. The overall depth of the chair, not including the rockers is approx. 24 3/4" The seat depth is about 19 1/2" The ground to the top of the seat is about 15 1/2" High. Vintage Black Harvest Adult Rocking chair made of solid maple from Hitchcock factory. I believe this piece dates from the 1950's This Rocking Chair has had no repairs and is intact. Signs of age are wear on the bottom of the rockers as shown in the photos and several minor indentations on seat consistent with gently used vintage furniture. The rocker was an accent piece and was always placed in the corner of a room in combination with the matching dresser and twin headboards( available in a separate auction) All belonged to my grandfather who passed away at 98 and were cottage furniture so saw minimal use. It has been painted because when I turned over it was green on bottom land under rockers. I had a dealer tell me it was a great find. I am offering local pickup. Vintage Childs Upholstered Rocking Chair~w/matching pillow
measures 23"w x 21"d x 25"t I just couldn't let this sweet thing go to the dump or? So I saved it. Stripped the ugly vinyl off and painted the bottom and re-upholstered it. It had those brass brads all up the sides of the arms. But for kids.I didn't replace them, so the front panels are sewed on. I have no idea how much it would cost to mail out.so I will put it up for a local pick-up. I would work with you on the mailing.but it's heavy and I'm guessing it will be over $70.00±. I don't have a scale big enough to weigh it and I'd have to find a box big enough.

This is an original Ernest Race Rocking Chair first produced in 1948. I would say this is a very early production model. It is a beautiful design from the immediate post-war period. It has of course signs of age and use and could be further cleaned to preserve the antique look of it or could be stripped and repainted as you wish. The original seat with it's fabric is present. There is no back cushion but this could easily be made in a fabric to match a recovered seat pad. From a local estate sale comes this beautiful very old. 1880's, handmade wood antique child's rocking chair. Previously owned by my neighbor who is 92 years old, she tells me this was made by a German carpenter(name unknown) in Kansas City for her mother's 1st birthday! Wood(unknown what kind) is gorgeous and still has shine to it but not sure what to use to polish.so sold as is. Measures 28-1/2" at the floor base and 18" high. We can only imagine how many little ones throughout the years rocked away in this historical little chair. She also tells me that the upholstery was changed several times throughout the years.but can't remember when. Cast iron salt and pepper shakers that are made to look like an Amish couple sitting in rocking chairs. The man and woman are the pepper shakers and the rockers are the salt shakers so there is a complete set for each end of a table. There are corks in the rockers and the couple. Great patina. They are approximately 3” tall and 1 ¼” wide. Paint has very little chipping. Bottom of one of the rockers has a sticker of Mount Vernon. Virginia.

For your consideration is one(1) EAMES Herman Miller fiberglass arm shell in uber-rare green. Overall great vintage condition with no cracks or integral damage. Just age-appropriate wear such as standard superficial scratches, surface dirt, stress marks, and normal edge wear. The shock mounts are original but brittle. Two of the mounts are detached and will be sent with the chair, while the other two are still on but look to have been reinforced by the original owner. Can be reattached with epoxy or a strong glue. Selling as is and already reflected in the price. The armshell is vintage. While the rocker base is new and US-made to original Eames specifications. This green is extraordinarily rare.
