Wim Rietveld Oase Chair mid century modernist aalto tomado vintage industrial Designed in 1954 by Wim Rietveld for Dutch company Gispen. The Oase chair is a wonderful example of Dutch postwar minimalism. Taking influence for the early Dutch modernist movement"DeStijl" the elements of the chair are reduced to just straight lines and colours. It is constructed from a steel rod frame with the seat and back rests made of sheet steel. An ingenious feature of the chair is that it can be completely dismantled an the upholstery removed without the use of tools or unpicking the fabric(although I'm not sure why you would want to) This is displayed in the original catalogue image below. There is a second chair in a similar condition available. The winner of the auction is welcome to buy it at the sale price of the one listed. Vintage COSCO USA Retro Blue Mid Century Modern Step Stool Chair SWEET!
Up for bidding is this nice Cosco kitchen step stool in wonderful vintage condition. This was quality Made in USA in the 1950s or 60s and features rare blue vinyl and paint. Feet caps are in super nice condition. Vinyl on seat is in pretty good shape for age showing a few paint specks and one very small nick. Seat lifts up easily when using step below it. Measures about 32" tall x 17" wide x 16" deep and about 24" from floor to top of seat. The chair is strong and sturdy and a great addition to your mid-century modern collection!

Cosco Kitchen Stool Stool found this weekend at local Grosse Pointe Estate Sale. It is as found. I have wiped it cleaner with soap and water. It could easily be restored or just painted. I like it As Is! Character from that era, even the COSCO sticker on the bottom side lets me know that it is OLD. The sticker still calls this item a COSCO Product! I believe it to be from the 40's. At least that is what the estate seller told me, hope he was being truthful. The stool is solid metal all around. However. It does show paint loss on the seat and some on the legs. But all of that lets you know this stool has a story! It is still quite sturdy. The seat is 24" above the floor and measures 13 x 11 inches. The 14 x 7 inch back rises 35 inches at its highest. The COSCO stamp is still on the rubber step pads. There are some paint drippings ... moreon the step pads. I believe it is removeable. I will break down as much as possible, probably down to the seat for easy shipping.This stool would fit into any modern, industrial, steampunk or cottage decor! Retro Vintage 1950s Mid-Century Mad Men Cosco Yellow Kitchen Step Stool Chair
Up for auction is a vintage Mid Century Yellow Cosco step stool chair. Good condition. The chair steps pulls out smoothly as it should and back into place. The Chrome legs show some corrosion. They need to be cleaned with some steel wool if desired. Yellow vinyl seat and back have one small tear and need an extensive cleaning. Also 4 black caps on bottom of legs to keep from scratching floors or sliding. The black rubber for steps is in very nice condition, although one rubber piece is missing. Underside of chair is in good condition. The metal part the seat cushion is attached to has some surface rust along the bottom edge. This chair has been stored in a storage shed. TOLE FLOOR LAMP. Vintage Retro Mid Century Modern, Reading Chair 3 way light. You are bidding on one(1) Tole floor lamp. A classic vintage retro mid century design. This floor lamp makes a great reading chair light, complete with a three way light switch for varied brightness. The lamp is in excellent condition for the age. There are a couple minor issues. The glass shade under the metal shade is broken and repaired. This could be replaced. But appears to be fine with the metal shade on it. You can not see the repair. We did not repair this. It is as found. There is a scratch on the stand post. See photo. There are minor signs of tarnish on the base. There is an extremely small dent on the metal shade. This is picking this lamp apart. But should summarize what we see. When the lamp is standing in the room, none of these small things take ... moreaway from general appearance or use. There will be some reassembly required. When we ship this floor lamp. We will remove the wire ties in the base, see photo) remove the power cord, and disassemble some of the lamp stand to keep the dimensions within a reasonable ship rate. Mid Century Danish Modern Vintage ca. 1955 Original Hans Wegner Wishbone Chair
From an estate we are liquidating an circa 1955 Mid Century Danish Modern Vintage Original Hans Wegner Wishbone Chair that needs some tender loving care. Needs to re-glued at all the joints. Back rest is damaged and needs to be repaired and/or replaced. Included is a new oak back rest from Hans Wegner, it is not finished, so the buyer will have to finish it to match the patina on the rest of the chair. A small section of wood on the back of the wishbone part is missing, this is not a structural issue at all. We are including another oak replacement part from Hans Wegner, that does not match any part of this chair, but the oak might be useful in making the necessary repairs. If we were keeping the chair we would cut the part that needs replacement from the new back rest and attach it to the old backrest, thereby keeping as much of the original ... moreas possible. The buyer has the option of using the entire replacement back rest or using only in part. The patina on the chair is absolutely beautiful and the really cannot be photographed adequately by us. The caning on the seat is in excellent condition. In person inspection is welcome. This vintage piece came out of a home in Denmark and clearly was a take on the Hans Wegner Papa Bear ottoman/ stool. It is a cool design with its minimalist lines and would make an nice compliment to any Danish modern chair/ décor. The piece is constructed out of solid teak(handles and legs) with black leather like vinyl upholstery. It is supported by 4 teak taper legs which will unscrew for shipping. This is a very simply DIY upholstery project that you can do in about 15 min with any style/ color fabric of your choice and a staple gun. measurements 21" wide by 11 5/8" deep by 15" high at the sides(14.5" high in the middle) condition This shows a fair amount of age and ... morewear. The chair measures 28 1/2 inches high. 31 inches deep, and 29 1/2 inches in length. The seat height is 17 1/2 inches. The chair and ottoman are structually in excellent condition. The upholstery has no tears. Rips, holes, or damage. The upholstery on both the chair and ottoman need cleaning and since I am not an expert with fabrics I will leave that up to the buyer. There are a couple of spots that ate on it and in my humble opinion I believe that they will come out with cleaning. The cleaners today are amazing and when something is spilled on our carpet we just mix a few cleaners together and it comes out like new. Vintage ASE All Steel Industrial Metal Office Arm Chair Mid Century Modern
For auction is one vintage All Steel Equipment(ASE) armchair from the 1960s. Beautiful. Well-designed brushed steel frame and original upholstery. The frame is spotless and the upholstery is in fantastic condition; not a nick or tear to be found. It is upholstered in a sharp blend of black vinyl and black fabric, and has been thoroughly cleaned. The frame has also been cleaned and polished. The only flaw is that the padding in the seat has deteriorated somewhat and the front edge of the seat slumps a little(see photos) and there's some yellow dust coming out underneath. However, it looks like it would be possible to re-pad the seat cushion while using the original upholstery, as it's stapled around the bottom of the seat. I have the amazing. For auction is one vintage Domore metal armchair from the late 1960s or early 1970s. It is in excellent original condition and has been thoroughly cleaned and polished top to bottom. I am selling a super cool vintage Contour Chair Lounge Co. Model 100 Lounge Chair with the vibrator. Electric powerslide and thermomatic HEAT! Yes, it still heats up! It has the knobs on both sides so if you only want the heat on the right side and not the left, then that is an option. The vibrator lets out some strong vibes! The name of the chair is called"The Cuddler" for a reason! You can cuddle up with the one you love while you watch a movie! We have had one like this before in better shape but it didnt heat up like this one. These extra wide chairs are kinda hard to find and weve had two in the past several months. We got about $550 for the last one, it is pictured on my ME PAGE. I've plugged it in and it moves forward/backwards and has a vibrating unit built-in but it is loud when you turn it up so it may need some work ... moreto quite it down. When the vibrator is on low the noise is where it should be for being turned on. It still gives out a great message on low. Its when you turn it up that it gets louder. One of them will need resewn in area on the strap and the other one is missing the sand inside to weight it down on the end of it, but in good shape. One of the knobs are missing on the left side for the viberator. The Brown Vinyl on this chair has some wear and tear and will need reupholstered. I have seen them reupholstered on Ebay and they still look great and have sold around $850 on Ebay. MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT ALL PICTURES. Overall it is in average shape for being from the 1950's or 1960's. This is heavy, solid, and well constructed. The feet could use a refinish, but are intact and sturdy and I believe are walnut wood.
