Very good overall condition, This elegant oak monks chair was crafted in England around 1900. Which places it at the close of the Victorian period and the beginning of the Edwardian period. The oak remains very beautiful, with a lovely patina and a distinct grain. Intricate carvings adorn the front, while the armrests feature turned columns. The most unique feature of this chair is the folding backrest, which drops down and slides forward to make this chair into a two-tiered side table. The seat also opens to reveal a small storage space, making this chair as useful as it is charming. The right armrest has developed a small separation in the wood, which is part of the natural aging process, and there are a few scuffs characteristic of an antique piece, but otherwise this chair remains quite attractive and sturdy. Overall condition is therefore very good. The sides look great. Shown here is the other side. Shown here is the back. The seat opens to reveal a convenient storage space. The oak displays a distinct grain. This seat remains as sturdy as it is elegant. With intricate carvings along the front. This is a Wonderful Old Piece. I am not sure if it would be considered Art Nouveau or Art Deco. My best guess as to age would be 1910-1930. The base appears to be cast iron and it is a heavy/sturdy piece. It is 19" high from the floor to the top of the piece. From the floor to the top of the cushion. It is 16& 1/2" It is 19" Long by 13" Wide. I do not know the history of this piece so cannot say if it has been around pets or smoke. I consider it to be in vey good condition however there is some paint loss/fading that does not affect the overall good looks of this Unique piece. The Metal is a shade of Green with Ivory. There are scratches on the wood and there is rust on the metal but I think it just adds to the charm of it. Sadly. We have no information about what kind of wood it is or how old it is exactly. Vintage(c. 1950? Advertising Thermometer Picture w/Reverse Paint on Glass. The ad is for Cooper Furniture Co. Inc. of Newark, NJ. The size of the picture is 5" x 4" And the thermometer works. There once was a pull-down calendar on the back(see pic) In overall very nice condition! Be sure to look at all three photos of this item. Note: We have collected advertising pictures with thermometers since the mid-1990s. But. We recently moved and no loner have the space for all of them that we have collected. So, over coming weeks, we will be selling several dozen of them on eBay to other enthusiasts of these. As always, we are happy to combine shipments.

Vintage Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse Furniture Dolls Lots of Extras
This is a Fisher Price Loving Family dollhouse from the 90's. It is in good condition but does need to be cleaned. I will try to get to it before shipping but just in case I don't have time please be aware you might have to clean it. It is loaded with dolls. Furniture and lots of extras. There is furniture for every room plus lots of outdoor things like a slide and a swingset. There is a bicycle for Mom and Dad and even a carrier to pull the baby behind. There is also a jeep, a tricycle and a double stroller. Please view pictures for everything that is included. There are a couple of defects to this. The picture on the easel is torn and the jeep is missing one door. One of the window frames on the back of the house is faded. This item weighs about 22 pounds.
