The abbreviation of DKR stands for Dining or desk height(K) Wire seat Rod base. This is a project for somebody. This wire chair was designed in 1952 as a part of newest contribution of low-cost seating comfort. The Eames office used bent and welded wire mesh as the bases for the furniture designs. Set of 3 Vintage German Bisque Lovers Figures, Loveseat & Chairs, Biscuit Ladies
Antique German Bisque Set. Charming set of three hand painted bisque figures dating from the early 20th century. All three pieces are marked Germany and the loveseat has the number 8574 as well. The two chairs are marked with item number 8572. We were unable to identify a maker of this set. The grouping depicts a young boy courting a demure young girl. Each of them in their separate chairs. The larger figure group shows this same couple presumably after they are wed. In the larger figure they are cuddled together on a loveseat toasting with silver champagne glasses. This set is decorated with large applied bisque beads painted a brilliant gold. The figures are made of unglazed biscuit porcelain, but they do have small areas that were finished with a glossy glaze. These glazed accents include the gold edging on their clothing, necklaces, shoes, ... moregoblets, the blue bow and the pillows, as well as the front surfaces of the loveseat and chairs. There are old(inventory? labels on the back of each chair and the couch has slight residue on the back where an old label use to be. The bottoms of each of these figures have residue from where a former owner had attached felt pads. The loveseat measures 5 ½” 14 cm) tall, and has a width of 4 7/8” 12.5 cm) Each chair figure stands 5 5/8” 14.3 cm) tall and measures 2 ¾” 7 cm) wide. Condition: The larger couch figure is in excellent condition. The only flaws we could find on the larger piece were a couple of missing gold beads on the man’s pant leg. The single young man is in excellent condition as well. With no damage. The single girl in the chair is only in fair condition, as she has a broken fan. Quite a large section of her fan has broken off(see detail photos) but we didn’t notice this damage at first glance because it appears that she is holding a partially open fan, making the damage less obvious. This is a great mid century modern dining set with six chairs and large rectangle table. The chairs are chrome with plush burgundy upholstery. The table has two chrome v shaped bases with thick glass top that has a beveled edge. These chairs are done in a Milo Baughman style and would complete any modern decor. This is a pair of bright red/white children's Tip N Rok chairs from the 1960s. These vintage plastic chairs spin. Rock, tip, and twirl. The chairs were obviously loved- one of the chairs has a chip out of the top, both have scratching, especially on the bottom. This is an older Coleman table and chairs that has been in my family for years. I hate to part with it but i don't think i will be using it and i hope someone likes this and can use it. Dating to the 1930 to 1950 time period. This American set is constructed of solid Oak with gorgeous Burl Walnut decorative veneers. It has an English Jacobean look with a Spanish Revival or Moorish flair, and is sure to attract attention and garner compliments. Hardware is original, with vintage KBC( Keeler Brass Company) drawer pulls. The set consists of the following: Dining Table. Two individual pull-out leaves give this Table enormous flexibility. With both leaves stowed. The Table measures 66 inches in length. With one leave out, the Table extends to 84 inches in length. All are in good/great condition with exception to 2 or 3 small areas of wear which I have taken close ups of. Great estate find to pass on to you. WOODMARK ORIGINALS Wingback Chairs Ladies Floral Vintage High back Seats NICE!!
For sale is a pair of Woodmark Originals wingback chairs. They are in excelent condition for still being the original fabric. Woodmark makes fine pieces of furniture that are ment to last generations. These retailed over 1k apiece when new. Some minor wear can be found and I have done my best to picture it. It appears these chairs were used very little and were taken care of. One dirty spot in picture#4 and some wear to one arm in picture#5 is the worst of things. The dirty spot I believe to be a dusty finger print and may come out with a proper cleaning. Measurements are 40-1/2"tall X 25-1/2" wide. Local Pick-up or Free Delivery with 100miles of 47033.
