ANTIQUE VINTAGE CHAIRS MAHOGANY WOOD 1890– 1915: As consumer style preferences changed. So did Berkey& Gay, but the feeling of massiveness and strength in its furniture remained. The company continued to produce whole suites for the parlor. Bedroom, and dining room. Pieces were in Golden Oak or mahogany. Berkey& Gay’s Golden Oak pieces have very high relief in their carving, which ranged from grottoesque fantasy creatures to swirling French flourishes. Still sturdy and strong after all of these years. These were purchased new by my family in the early 80's- I believe it was actually 1981- the year we built our first deck- always stored inside. Only remained outside overnight a handful of times. In the last 15 years or so they have not seen any use at all. Great design- very mod. Florida, retro, minimalist, even though they are from the 80's they have a bit of a 60's or 70's look. Still very"today" What is your decor? What style do you have imagined for your deck. 4 Vintage Thonet Swivel Plywood Bentwood Arm Chairs. 4 Vintage Thonet Swivel Plywood Bentwood Arm Chairs Here we have a group of 4 rare vintage bent plywood Thonet swiveling armchairs. Although no markings were found. They appear to be Thonet chairs, in my opinion. These are swivel only chairs, no tilting. They are matching except that 2 are ivory color vinyl and 2 are beige color vinyl. These chairs are in good overall working condition, solid/sturdy and with multiple tears to the vinyl coverings. At some time, holes were drilled at the bottoms of all the legs, it looks like there was possibly some sort of casters or feet attached at some point, but not really sure, so needs some work there. The swiveling mechanism is good on all chairs. The arm rest components are all good with no issues for recovering. One plywood armrest riser piece shows ... morea crack which was repaired(glued) and looks fine. All four backrest components are good for recovering. One of the backrests has some separation of the two halves. All the seats are good for recovering. All the plywood components are in very good condition except for the issues noted above regarding the legs bottoms and the one armrest riser with repaired crack. Measurements: Seat height is 15" overall height is 27.5" width is 24" and depth is 22" Each chair weighs about 21 lbs. unpacked. See all the photos for cosmetic condition. This is a ROMWEBER Dining set that includes the Hutch 82" H x 62" W X bottom 19.5" D and top 15" D. The 2 glass shelves have a plate groove. The hutch is in 2 pcs. The bottom has 3 drawers and 2 push open doors(1 shelf in each door section) It is lighted. I believe it would be Queen Anne or French Provincial style. It is a light cream/yellowish color with hand painted floral. The matching table is 42" wide and 58" Wide without the 2 leaves. The leaves are 19" wide each. So the table extends to 96 when both are installed. The table top is beautiful. There are 6 chairs. They are all armed chairs. 2 of the chairs are original and are painted to match the hutch. 4 chairs were originally purchased unfinished and have been painted to match the rest of the set. They have been very well preserved and maintained. There are only this row of 2 seats still available. Which consists of 3 side panels( arm rests) 2 backs, and 2 seats. They easily dismantle for transport. Then easily re-assemble: Stand up two side panels and between them fix a seat slotting it into the slots for the seat on each panel. Fix a back in the same way. Slotting it into the slots for the back. Stand up the third side panel. And between it and the second side panel fix in a seat and back exactly the same as you did for the first seat. Vintage Metal Folding Chairs Lot 4 Heavy-duty Industrial Hampton MA
Very cool vintage metal folding chairs in a dark brown. To fold. These pull from the back of the seat up to display the face of the back rest and of the seat. These are heavy duty and while the weight capacity is unknown, they were tested by a 230 pound person and found sturdy.probably a 250 max. Weigh 8 pounds each and have their original stickers on back of the back rest. When open, these will be 14" wide x 13" deep front to back and 17" up to the seat and 17 1/2" from seat to top of back rest. Overall 32 1/2" high and fold slim for minimal storage. The seats each have 4 holes in the corners and may have been padded at some point.could be re-padded if desired. Missing original tips.
