The fabric is very faded and is worn, particularly at the bottom of the back, and will most likely need to be redone. The seat is in good condition, with no holes or tears, however, there are some stains on it that may not clean out, and the fabric is a bit faded. There are some light surface scratches on the wood portions of the chair as well, but it is in over-all good condition, especially considering that it is most likely more than 100 years old.

This authenticated antique desk and chair has hand carvings throughout the entire desk even including the back. There are 5 carved open compartments for organizing and a hidden drawer that opens the full length of the desk with 4 divided sections inside. The center disposal is the original period velvet sack with a hanging cord attached to a lovely ivory pearl stone set within a bronze circular ring with designs. A walnut wood weight is attached. Hand wood carvings include 2 beautiful ladies protruding from sides of desk and removable cupid on the top that is attached to the lid that covers the compartment where the clock sits. The clock has 3 different hand designs and incased in bronze. The face is a natural cream ivory? porcelain with black Roman numerals. The face is aged with some hairlines but the numerals are bold without any color loss. The clock has 2 front legs and a weighted bronze pendulum that you can view from the photo. It does move side to side and I hear ticking but is in need of adjusting. The clock is original and fits perfect to view from a circular opening made for it within the desk. This all original desk is in very good condition without repairs. It is hard to believe there are only two tips missing from the delicate finials. Located on left side underneath the desk and on the right side bottom between the legs. You will need to really search in the pictures because they are very hard to find. It is very rare to find a set. How fortunate to have this elaborate matching chair with velvet padded seat in such wonderful condition. The carvings are amazing and please view the lion and the Fiorentino symbol on the back of the chair. In my 30 years of experience I have never seen a desk set like this. Vtg. Antique child's chair. Wicker cane children's Victorian furniture, decor! This antique chair is a charmer! From the days of gentility and decorum! This little chair was a copy of an adult's cane chair. And was a cherished one! It is made from bent wood, cane and wicker or reed. It may very well have been handcrafted, as I have never seen another like it. It measures 20" high. 19" wide, and 11-3/4" deep. At one time the seat wore through and was covered with a piece of corduroy, which has proven to be pretty sturdy stuff! It has some of the most unique construction I have seen, and looks like it may have been constructed of bits and pieces of what was handy or available at the time. Three of the legs have a metal tip, another thing that makes this chair different! Most of the chairs frame was wrapped in the ... morewicker, and over the years much of it has come off. Was made by The Biggs Antique Furniture Company of Richmond. Virginia. The original of this chair was brought to the White House of the Confederacy in Richmond. Virginia when Jefferson Davis became President of the Confederacy. This Victorian chair was described by Biggs as"a comfortable chair that will harmonize well with your family heirlooms" Also known as a"Gentleman's Chair" This Victorian style parlor chair has upholstered arms. Tight seat and mahogany finger-carving wood. The frame is constructed of hardwood. It has eight-way hand tied springs. Fire breathing, winged griffins/dragons to the left and right of a center European shield. If that wasn't enough, all carvings are complete! Antique Victorian What Not Shelf Walnut Furniture Corner Bookcase Etargere 1800s
This auction is for a wonderful antique corner what not shelf. It is Victorian. Was used to display fancy glassware etc. and from the mid to late 1800's. Made of a beautiful walnut, it is of a nice weight and is sturdy. It is about 60 inches tall. It is in very good condition for its age- it does have one piece of decorative trim that is missing on the upper left(see photos) This could be replaced or you could probably remove the decorative trim from both sides if you want to even it up. There is one small area of old scratches in the wood on the second to bottom shelf.see last picture) I consider this very minor. I believe it is the original finish and it is in great condition. Interesting pieces of carved wood. Almost 8" long, 2 7/8" wide, and 1 1/8" thick. Have holes in the back for pegs to hold this on whatever if came off of. Has no finish that I can tell. May have originally held a shelf on an old pump organ, dresser, or dining room piece, maybe even off an old mantle. Anyway, very nice. Decorative Wood Salvage Piece Eastlake/ Victorian Style? I don’t know the history or original function of this piece. But it may have come from a dresser or a mirror. It has some interesting details with finials on each side. It might even have been Frankensteined by someone out of different parts for all I know. It measures 15” long X 5-7/16” high(not measuring the rough tab like part at the bottom) X 1-11/16” deep. It weighs 1 lb. 1 ounce. Please see the photos as they are part of the description. It is in good condition. The finials are not glued in and are removable. There are a few nicks and chips on the wood. Obvious glue is seen. This card is possibly from the 1880's but it is so anachronistic to me as it has such odd fonts and Artistic Furniture seems too futuristic. Even the strange markings on the front of the card with strange lettering of the address looks like it was printed on part scroll and Flintstone rock. On the back of the Guernsey Furniture Company there is a drawing or engraving of the large building that it owned. What is unusual is that under that there appears to be a rebus puzzle. I saw one other on a trade card that made a little sense but if this rebus means anything and you can figure this out you are a cryptologist and were great at the game of Concentration. The card appears to be in good overall condition with some staining on the front. Gorgeous Solid walnut antique nightstand Own some American History.no doubt made by an American country craftsman Circa 1850-1895 Beautiful original drawer ring pull.notice the fine details in the back plate.the pull has a great naturally aged& worn patina! I restore fine antiques and this lovely nightstand/table was in need of some meticulous restoration.I restored it from top to bottom and added some custom touches along the way! The legs are no doubt hand made/turned.they are beautiful What I love the most about this piece is the rich walnut wood.the wood is actually about 350-400 years old considering when it was cut down to make this table.the graining is spectacular I restored the finish entirely by hand. Just like when it was made.I hand scraped and sanded the failed original finish.then hand rubbed many, many coats of varnish ... morewhich showcases the wood and protects it as well. The hand scraping and sanding is labor intense but provides the most stunning look when restored! The finish is silky smooth but you can still feel the walnut grains/pores just as I designed the finish! I resecured the original loose top with screws& added the twelve antique walnut pegs around the top.it looks superb and add architectural detail! Whatever they were- legs, corbels etc, they were beautifully made, dark walnut in color, not sure of the wood though. Victorian Tramp Art & Crafts Mission Furniture Piano Bench Chair Wood Art
It’s hard to put this bench into one category. It could be anywhere from Victorian to Mission to Tramp Art. I not sure if it was sold in a store or hand made? But, it’s a beauty with a wonderful architectural design. The bench is very sturdy and put together with screw which appear to be original to the piece. The screws have a very aged patina and are in areas had to be screwed in as the bench was put together. The fabric top may or may not be original, it has a very Art Deco triangle design which could be of the period. Fabric may be slightly faded from time.The bench has its original finish. Some expected vintage show of age, but in excellent shape.The measurement are 34” by 17 1/2” by 14 1/4”

This auction is for a antique circa 1880. Its made of solid oak. There are 6 double cast iron hooks. Behind the top 2 there are japaned metal plates. Storage for hats& gloves under the seat. Umberella stand with a brass drip pan. This hall tree has some wonderful carving on it there are spade designs, round carved balls at the top and a rectangular carving in the middle. It is about 33" tall at its highest point, and is about 34" across, making it easy to fit just about anywhere. I would guess the wood to be mahogany, but I don't know.
