Chair swivels! No ply separation- very nice to find one of these without separation or stress cracks! The chair looks like Thonet- but the thin tapered legs look more like a Cherner chair- I am not sure of the maker 24 inches wide at arms x 33 high at rear and 17.5 high at seat. One of the arm rests is missing its upholstery but the come off with two screws underneath and would be really easy to recover. The original naugahyde on the seat and back shows some wear and has a few nicks but overall is nice an useable as is. The finish/patina on the wood legs is a little flakey but in my opinion looks great with its aged patina as it is. If you wanted to refinish the wood it would be an easy DIY project- or just use it like it is! If you want me to refinish the chair for you- I can strip it down and make it look perfect for an additional fee- ... morejust write and we can discuss. There are no breaks and no repairs done to them ever. They are all original. The seats have faded also. A couple are warped and one seat is lifting a bit. All the chairs are stamped made in Romania with a black circle with foreign writing that I can't make out. I took TONS of picture so please look. If after that you have any questions just ask. MID CENTURY MODERN THONET SQUARE SIDE TABLE MOSAIC SUNBURST TOP STEAM BENT LEGS
Please scroll down under this description for additional views. A stunning punch of color and design for your home- vintage Mid-century modern THONET side table. 27" tall, 18" square top. Thonet label under the top is extremely worn and difficult to read. The legs are steam bent laminated wood with maple finish- the finish is original and each leg retains the metal slide at the bottom. The finish is worn and has a few marks and scratches but with minimal cleaning and perhaps some wax I think they will glow. Some nicks in the wood at the very bottom of the legs. The underside of the table is painted a very dark brown which seems to be the original color over plywood- very little difference in surface shown when the legs are removed. The frame of the table is painted a matte black(not an original paint job) and the surface is a sunburst ... moremosaic of white ceramic tile pieces with charcoal color grout. The tile is obviously cut and pieced by hand. There are some areas of surface loss to the grout and a chip of wood out of the upper edge of the top. This auction is for 11 ORIGINAL Thonet B32"Cesca" chairs. They were originally designed by Marcel Breuer. And manufactured by a company owned by Michael Thonet in 1928 until the end of WWII. Sometime after 1950. With permission from Breuer, they were produced in Italy by Dino Gavin a. As a token of respect Dino renamed the production model after Breuer's daughter Francesca. Which was simply dubbed"Cesca" These chairs are the original Thonet construction. NOT knock offs. The seat leading wooden edge frame has the extension. That turns down. There are no flat spots in the chrome frame tube bends, which means they were done with mandrels, AND the ends have no caps at the arm rest ends. Finally, the wooden chair back frames are of the larger diameter disposition. Should you need more detail pictures. Feel free to simply ... morerequest them. Fabric seat and back were used for primarily for high use application. As the cane weave type was more subject to be damaged. In turn, it also allows them to be re upholstered should the owner like. These chairs are correct excellent candidates for restoration as they are authentic and undamaged. They are in need of cleaning entirely, but no peeling or structural flaws.Most of the chairs have Thonet Man. tags on the bottom. One does not. There are 3 with different color fabric. The other 8 are the Grey with Burgundy stripes. I am open to offers. And would prefer to have these picked up rather than shipped. We have 1 of this Verner Panton S-chair model 275. The chair was originally sold unupholstered. That was added later. Because of that we cannot see the mfg tags however our expert we consult on vintage chairs does believe this chair is an authentic Thonet. Its in very good used condition. There is a snag in the fabric on the bottom of the back of the chair, a photo is attached. The S-chair(model 275) was designed in 1956 by Verner Panton and manufactured from 1965 by Thonet. This absolutely gorgeous antique bentwood child's cradle or cabinet with canopy arm. C irca 1895 was probably d esigned and most likely manufactured by Kohn or Thonet. In Austria though it is not signed or marked in any way. I provide more information about these individuals and their accomplishments later in this listing but this wonderful bentwood cradle is a marvelous example of fine bentwood furniture making craftsmanship and quality. The overall dimensions of this large cradle are 79 inches tall by 48 inches long by 25 inches wide and I've included a number of photographs with this listing in an attempt to accurately represent the design. Quality, condition and construction of this fabulous antique bentwood cradle, it's marvelous curved lines and pinned or pegged construction as shown in close up. This cradle came out of ... morean old downtown Charleston family estate auction and is really an amazingly beautiful piece of late 19th century history. I will also include the large pillow or mattress, bumper overlay and sheer drape shown that appear unused and were probably fairly newly made for the bassinet for either decorative purposes or for actual use as a baby cradle for a newborn. I love this cradle in it's natural wood color and it appears to have at least one of it's original two swinging bolts though the other may be a replacement. The locking stop pin is missing and would need to be replaced if it were to be actively used as a cradle so it could be locked in a still position when desired. Otherwise this wonderful antique cradle appears to have been very well cared for and it is structurally sound free of any cracks or breaks and is on overall magnificent condition for a piece this age. Ready for either use for your newborn or a terrific Victorian era art nouveau display piece, this lovely antique bentwood cradle is a real find in such outstanding condition. I'm selling a set of six beautiful bentwood chairs(no room in our apartment) I purchased these in rough shape last summer and restored them myself-they were all sanded by hand. Cracks or chips repaired, joints reinforced, and painted black. I do not believe they were originally a set-there are very slight differences between some of the chairs. I'm also not sure if these are Thonet originals or reproductions, but given the age and construction I believe they are originals. It's clear that some of the seats have been replaced over the years. These look great around a kitchen or dining table. And would be perfect in a cafe, restaurant, or bakery. I'm sad to part with them.

Retro Bar Pub Table & 4 Vintage Thonet Mundus Bentwood Chairs Round Wood & Metal
THIS AUCTION IS FOR A Set of 4 USED Thonet Mundus Bentwood Chairs and a USED Vintage Blue Round Bar Pub Table This set of table and chairs were obtained at a local estate auction. The only history I do know is was obtained from the contents of Historic National House Inn(Est. 1889) located in Indian Orchard MA From what I have heard this building had a variety of establishments on the location including a hotel. Lounge, banquet hall, bar& mechanic shop. I am quite sure this set was once used in the bar area. It is a usable set. Perfect size for a small apartment or Man/ Woman Cave. If you want to bring a style from a retro era. You may be interested in this set. The new owners of this set may want to refurbish the chairs or table or keep them as they are. I dusted them off but they are in need of some cleaning. The chairs and table show ... morewear along with some scratches. Nicks etc. There is also surface rust on the base of the table predominantly. I was able to identify a couple of markings on some of the chairs I had obtained from several sets. The tag on one of the chairs read"Made By THONET BROS. INC. 29-06 REVIEW AVE. L.I.C. N.Y. That chair also has a stamp in the wood marked"Made In Poland along with a stamp Mundus on the bottom rim on one of the seats. Another chair had a"Mundus" sticker. The markings I have just described are what I have found on a couple of the many chairs I had on hand from different sets I am selling. The chairs that are pictured may or may not have tags or markings. The Chairs I am not a chair expert but they appear to be from the 1950's or possibly earlier. I am not sure. The chairs are Bentwood type. The chairs seat is red in color and lightly padded covered with a soft vinyl type covering. There may be paint over spill. Small cigarette holes along with scratches and wear on the base of the seat. The chairs and table pictured are the items for this auction. DESCRIPTION: Exceptional and rare set of eleven Thonet stacking conference lounge or dining chairs. Possibly designed by Massimo Iosa Ghini. Use 10 and one as a chair as parts. Reminiscent of George Nelson"Aluminum Group" designs. These chrome finish frames are accented with aluminum back bracing(magnet sticks to chrome section but does not stick to aluminum section) The arm wood insets look like maple. The chairs stack. The back rest is attached only at the arms offering a minimalist and sexy sculptural quality. These chairs are very solid and sturdy. At first, I thought the upholstery was vinyl. Upon closer inspection the quality and finish were so good that I took a seat off the frame and uncovered the back of the"fabric" last photo) which shows the suede graining on the back of the leather seats. Chairs have Thonet ... morelabels. I'd guess these are 1980's era. CONDITION: Very well constructed. Heavy and sturdy. One chair missing one foot pad. One seat back has green paint splatters. Several of the birch( arms have minor scratches and abrasions(no major chips to any of the arms) One seat leather is"dented" Other seats have small imperfections(bumps, small creases) No tears. Leather has been reconditioned with professional grade"Leatherique" cleanser and oil. Antique Austrian Michael Thonet bent wood childs chair woven seat all original
Antique Austrian Michael Thonet bent wood child's chair with woven seat. This is all original with no repairs or replacement hardware. I believe this chair pre-dates the 1900's but there is no date marking on this piece. This is branded with the name"Thonet" and Austria on the underside. All the joints are still solid with no movement and the woven seat does not have any tears or frays. The small hoop on the back of the chair is separating at the joint as shown in the photos but the hoop is still securely attached to the chair. This could be re-glued but I did not want to alter this piece. Overall this is a very nice example of an original antique Thonet. Original antique Bentwood No. 14 (now 214) Thonet style cafe bistro chair
Original antique bentwood Thonet No. 14-style bistro cafe chair. This design type is now known as a'214' The'chair of chairs' a design classic traditionally used in bistros and now fashionable as good kitchen chairs. Has an original patterned pressed seat and double hooped back rails. My research indicates that this chair was probably made in the 1950s. It is marked on the underside of the seat with the product number 14 but no other manufacturers markings have survived. The existence of the additional diagonal braces between the seat and back might mean that it is actually Thonet. Nevertheless. It is a beautiful antique chair and is fully useable even though one wooden plug is missing from the back. Collection from SE19. Crystal Palace or postage by courier.

This is a lovely beech wood bentwood doll settee. Ca 1880s from Gebruder Thonet, made in Vienna, Austria. There are some condition issues due to age and use. Typical of old beech bentwood there is some tilt to the piece from warpage, but all four feet sit level on the ground. There is also a small cut in the wood on the left front leg(shown in the picures) And there is damage to the seat caning as shown in the pictures. It is 14" wide. 7 1/4" deep and just about 12" tall. Mid Century Thonet Knoll Marcel Breuer B32/ "Cesca" 11 genuine chairs!
This auction is for all 11 ORIGINAL Thonet B32"Cesca" chairs to be sold together. They were originally designed by Marcel Breuer. And manufactured by a company owned by Michael Thonet in 1928 until the end of WWII. Sometime after 1950. With permission from Breuer, they were produced in Italy by Dino Gavin a. As a token of respect Dino renamed the production model after Breuer's daughter Francesca. Which was simply dubbed"Cesca" These chairs are the original Thonet construction. NOT knock offs. The seat leading wooden edge frame has the extension. That turns down. There are no flat spots in the chrome frame tube bends, which means they were done with mandrels, AND the ends have no caps at the arm rest ends. THONET Possibly pre-1950. 21.25" wide 31" tall 31.5" deep Seat 17-14" Quite a hard to find chair from Thonet. Features lasagne springs beneath seat and solid plywood construction over the sides. This model has faux leather on it with flea bites and minor tears including where the back meets the seat(from tension) While can be used in its present state this would look outstanding reupholstered.
