The chair has a removable cushion upholstered on both sides in the rich yellow crushed velvet. The wood seat frame continues around the whole bottom of the chair. Usually the vanity benches found have a round seat. So this bench style is a great find for someone. The white seat has a nice embossed design and is some kind of vinyl. As mentioned, the frame is gold metal with little feet protectors intact. I love the way the legs were designed.so pretty. This would be wonderful with pink( soft pillows at the backrest. A great antique Regency style chair circa 1870's/1880's. Chair has elegant lines with straight edge design so typical of Regency styling. The frame is mahogany and there are some imperfections in the wood graining and staining typical of the age of this chair. The front feet have brass caps that add to the overall style. Cute and"all girl" is the best description for this vanity dressing table chair. It is metal and has been repainted a bright sunny yellow gloss. The seat cover is new with new batt also. The fabric is a cotton decorator weight. As you can see in the last pic. I made every part of this stool pretty; the bottom is covered with new pink gingham. Hollywood Regency Vintage Cane Club Barrel Back Chair Yellow
This is a vintage caned barrel back chair. Designed in the Hollywood regency style, and probably dates from the 1960's. The cane is in good condition. And has a patina due to the finish wearing thin around some areas. Also, one section where a few strands are cracked, but all the caning is in place so it isn't very visible. The seat has a few spots on it, but these can be cleaned up. See pics) Also, chair legs have some scuffs, and one leg has a chip by the foot(see pics) Measures 26" deep. 24" wide, 27" tall, an the seat is 18" high. No shipping on this chair.
