It is brass-tone metal with a vinyl seat cushion. The seat measures 16-1/4" high and is 14" in diameter. Backrest measures 26" from floor. The seat has been recovered with gold vinyl that has a leather look to it. There are scuffs and scratches to the brass paint all over the chair. There is a few places around the bottom where there is a little paint transfer when this piece was restored but it is also white so barely noticable and can be easily removed. The wrought iron is also in great condition, and shows no damage but few light scuff marks in the paint. General Description: From an Estate. Tomlinson Sophisticate Lounge Chair in wonderful condition. Two cushions on this chair. Original fabric/upholstery. 24" deep, 28" high and 27" wide. Created 11 October 1962. Condition: Cushions are in remarkable condition with just subtle staining- almost invisible. With a clean, I have no doubt these would end up looking nearly brand new- the fabric is so good that the"fluffing" is at an absoluter minimum, and no need to re-upholster. Chair itself is excellent condition with the typical marks around the legs. Has all original feet(metal feet) Rattan is perfect with not a single dent, hole or tear. Patina is wonderful. Sturdy, better made, vintage brass finished steel cantilever bar stools with foot rail/rest and easy to reupholster seat cushions. The current upholstery/fabric shows some wear and has some staining. Still shiny brass finish with only subtle/minor abrasions or signs of use to finish, mostly on edge of foot rail or under side/outer edge nearer bottom. It is in essence a trapezium shape. I'm not that much of an expert in Victorian furniture(more ... moremy father's field) but I do know that this is a quality piece& with what little information I can glean the paper label puts it to around 1850. The fine unusual cross-banding underneath is exquisite quality I don't know how they did it. So rather than blather on about what I know not I have taken the maximum images allowable(24) trust that these will do the talking for me. It is ebonised all the way along the frame& has smart gilding in the grooved areas to the tapering turned legs. It's a nice angular shape which leads me to believe it is designed for a picture window. Such is the quality of this piece I felt the shape photographed well. Stunning vintage French/Italian Provincial carved chair with blue silk or silk-like upholstery. This is in excellent condition and from a smokefree home. No holes. Tears, or stains to the fabric, and no breaks in the wood. There is some minor scuffing and only slight wear if any really, considering age. This is a gorgeous, well made piece of furniture! Mid Century Lucite Swivel Boudoir Vanity Chair Stool Hollywood Regency Style
Mid Century original lucite/acrylic chair by The Reflectone Corp. Tubular lucite back and legs. The tubular legs do show scratches. The backrest has lucite rope details holding 2 pieces in place. One side of the rope detail has broken off. See last picture. I am sure this can be fixed accordingly. Swivel round seat, upholstered in a light orange faux fabric vinyl. Seat/cushion is nice and firm(tight) Vinyl in good condition with no tears or rips. The seat swivels smoothly when you sit on it, but this swivel portion jiggles when no weight is on it. Now I don't know if it needs to be tighten or that's the way it is. Overall I would say this chair is in very good condition considering it's age that will need minor repair and/or adjustment. Measures 26" high at the backrest, 17 1/2" at the front of seat, 16" diameter ... moreseat. The chair will be shipped with the legs off.
