It's a circa 1900 English Queene Anne style burlwood and walnut library armchair. The construction and carvings are super with the shell carved knees and the fan in the center. It has a stretcher connecting the top front rail to the rear back stretcher. You only see the on high quality pieces. The burl wood with a slight cleaning will jump out at you. The curved arms and the carvings at the top and bottom of the rear splat just add to desirability of this great chair. But it's the needlepoint seat of the 2 Sottish Terriers the send it over the top. It's a SUPER chair. There is some separation in some spots of the veneer. Which is common it these antique chairs. Not a big deal really. And it could prob use a good cleaning. The chair though has no old repairs. There are a few very small veneer chips which I pictured,and it's very sturdy. The chair originated in England and was made there sometime around 1980. The seating area on this wing back measures 19″ wide and 22″ deep. The seat is 18.5″ from the floor and the arm rests are 23″ from the floor. You can remove the cushion for easy cleaning. Perhaps the most striking ... morefeature of this chair is the gorgeous red leather. It is a semi-aniline dyed leather that has aged quite well over the years resulting in the leather having the optimal look that will last for many years to come. At the bottom are Queen Anne feet done in mahogany. These feet compliment the shaped wing backs and arm rests quite well. Finally. Rows of brass brads provide some contrast to the leather around various lines of the chair. Both arm rests display some discoloration and minor crackling primarily on the right arm. We have captured this in the photos for you. You will also see some minor crackling on the wings. Just above the arm rests. The leather has recently been reconditioned and as long as it is conditioned regularly(about twice a year) the crackling should not worsen. We have also included an image of some light indentations in the seat cushion that can only be seen in certain lights and that we do not feel detract from the piece. Gorgeous Vintage SINGER Queen Anne Sewing Machine Cabinet Bench Stool Chair This is absolutely a fabulous vintage Singer Queen Anne sewing machine bench! Simply gorgeous. Hard to believe that this furniture is over 60 years old! No spills inside the bench, fabulous condition! It is the walnut finish and still shines like a new penny! This lovely bench measures 15' X 17' and is 19¼' high. The original cover of the top that comes off. To reveal an ample storage area for those very necessary sewing accessories, was worn so I replaced it with a high quality upholstery fabric in a nice spring green and I added a'tad of pad for the tush' while doing so! I added a new bottom to the bench as the one weak area in these benches is the bottom. They are very thin and only supported by 1/8' of wood all the way around. This ... morebottom is substantially stronger now. This bottom will not cave in! The bench will be disassembled for a lessor shipping rate so some assembly will be required when received by the buyer. Simply a matter of reattaching the bolts. This Wing Chair shows off the Queen Anne style of the classic Colonial period. The chair is made of solid mahogany, has a tight seat with brocade upholstery and is in untouched original condition. The wood has a beautiful brown finish with Queen Anne front legs. A stretcher base and thick slant back legs. Chair has been recently reupholstered and it is in excellent condition except it has a hairline about 1 ½” long in one of the armrests. It has been repaired and it is extremely sturdy. The canning is magnificent and it is in superb condition. Educated guessing the wood is mahogany but not 100% sure On a scale from 1 to 10 without any hesitation it is at least 9. Queen Anne Style Dolls in a Chair with Dog
Approx. 13 1/2" tall. 7 in. wide and 8" deep. Very unusual display. Dolls are made of wood and cloth. Both dolls have wooden heads and arms and the girl also has wooden legs. their bodies are cloth. The Dog is wood also. They were originally glued into the chair but the glue on the girl has come undone. The chair is also made of some kind of wood.

It has a fully developed and scrolled crest and a highly developed and carved center splat. It is block turned with a dramatic cant to the rear. IT HAS A BOLD ... moreTURNED SINGLE FRONT STRETCHER. TURNED DOUBLE SIDE STRETCHERS AND A BOTTOM SPLAT RAIL. IT HAS A WONDERFUL SHAPED TOP CREST AND ENDS IN STRONG WELL FORMED"SPANISH FEET" WITH A VERY FINE ADDED TURNING WHICH ARE ALL ORIGINAL. BOTH CHAIRS ALSO HAVE A VERY RARE OCTAGONAL CHAMFERED BLOCK ABOVE THE FEET AND BOTH ALSO HAVE AN UNUSUAL PINNING OF THE SPLAT TO BOTH THE TOP AND BOTTOM CRESTS. THIS CHAIR HAS BOLD BLOCK TURNINGS AND REAR POSTS. It is from the NORWICH. CT AREA AND DATES CIRCA 1730-1740. The wood is Native MAPLE. The shape of the nicely carved crest is indicative of that area as well as are the fully developed and bulbous turned single front stretcher and the typical elongated turned side stretchers as well as the BOLD CARVED SPANISH FEET. This chair is structurally all original. The replaced splint seat is about 75 years old and is in nice condition with only minor wear. NO REPAIRS TO THE FEET THEY ARE ALL ORIGINAL.
