Quite rare and unusual to find a matched pair of saucer pan candlesticks from the 17th century. These are bell metal and have a nice old patina. They are constructed with the very coarse threads of this period. They measure 5 1/2" high and 5" round base. There is a split in the rim of one of the bases. The glasses have large well striated bucket bowls sitting on a collar on a short stem with large basal knop all sitting on a domed foot with a rough gadget made pontil. The stems differ slightly in shape due to the free blown manner of production and contain a nice bubble of glass. One glass stands at a height of 5.3 inches(13.5 cm) the other 5.4" have a diameter to the bowls of 3.1" and 3.3" and to the foot. 2.7 and 3 inches and weigh 219 and 275 grammes. This is a great pair of Vintage Bedside talbe lamps. They are a very pale creamy peach/pinkish color with cream color shades. The shades have tan tulle trim and white lillies of the valley. The lamps each have the flower Lillies of the Valley on them. Base is goldtone. It is always recommended that lamps of this age have their cords redone but this is up to you. Shade is 10 by 8.5 inches. Base is 13 inches tall without bulb by 5.5 inches wide. Condition: One lamp is perfect. 2nd lamp has a scuff mark on one flower and a bit of white stuff on one lily. Weber speaker Classic British Series C1265 G12-65 8 ohm 65 watts pair Celestion
For sale is a pair(2) of hardly-used Weber C1265 Classic British Series 12 inch speakers with the pre-Rola treatment. Each speaker is rated at 65 watts and 8 ohms. These were purchased in 2012 and only have 50-100 hrs on them. Mostly at house volume. Compared to a Celestion G12T-75, these speakers have a more pronounced but very smooth midrange and are much much smoother on the top end. Compared to a Celestion Vintage 30 the midrange is similar but they are smoother on the top end and without the Vintage 30 ice pick. They have a real classic rock-like sound(very reminiscent of the lead tone in Heart's Magic Man) When pushed with Marshall amp distortion and with the treble up, they can get nicely crunchy but without being shrill or coarse-sounding. Nice tight bottom-end. They were used in conjunction with a 50 watt Marshall head with the ... morevolume at no more than 4-5(5 gigs total) so they have not had much of a workout. As you see by the pictures, there is no collected dust on the cones. The only reason I am selling them is that I have too much stuff and need to trim back. They are truly awesome speakers and you will not be disappointed. No overseas shipping.
