1880's Antique Victorian type Oak Dining Set with chairs and built in leafs
Oak table and chairs. This table is 5 feet long when the leafs are not extended and 9 feets when they are. There are 4 leafs each 1 foot in diameter. The is a crack on the top of the table that was there when I bought it. Everything to my knowledge is original except the seat pad. This is a beautiful table especially foir a large family gathering. I cannot ship this or pack the table. If you want it shipped you must either do it yourself. Hire someone to pack it up and ships or pick up from a local mover company to have it delievered to you. This is not part of the auction price and totally paid for by you.

Here is a really great set of 19th century heavily carved solid oak chairs with original cane seats and pegged construction. The barley twists are fantastic and there is a lot of it.along the backs of the chairs as well as the front and rear legs and stretchers. The carved crowns of each chair is a little different and they all have the same design of bellflowers. Shells, C-scrolls, foliage and other floral touches. This is all carved thick oak and is shown from the front and the back. The seat edges are all very interesting carved. Almost a gadrooned look, to the side and front edges of each chair. Height to the top = 40 3/8" Height to top of seat = 18 1/2" Width at widest = 18 1/4" Depth at deepest = 15" I do have other photos if there is something that I didn't show that you would like to see. I am selling my beautiful. Newly restored 1920's wicker dining set. I am told that a pedestal wicker table with an oak top, of this age and condition is very rare. The set comes with a table with oak top and extension, and four chairs. All in excellent condition. The chairs each have a few places where the caning is broken but it does not affect their function at all.all of them are incredibly sturdy. Under the table is an old fashion electrical outlet, for plugging in a lamp. I left it there, to keep it authentic but it can easily be removed. The only reason I am selling this is that it will not fit into our new house. This set would look perfect on a porch, deck or in a sun room.

The table without the leaves measures 3-1/2' x 5-1/2' Each leaf measures 3-1/2' x 1-1/2' Which extends the table to 3-1/2' x 8-1/2' The table has 4 column like, pedestal legs. The chairs have burgundy velvet and gold ribbon. The wood on the chairs have spoon carvings near the top. The springs are good in the cushions. The chairs may have been recovered. This set is in good shape. It isn't perfect, but, it doesn't need to be refinished. Heavy, excellent quality, hard to find a set built like this anymore. Please look over the pictures. Protective glass for the table top. 57 x 38" smaller than average size, extends to 77" with the leaf. It is in very good condition, cared for through the years. There are a few minor age marks, nothing of importance. The chairs are covered with black vinyl, probably not original. Paul Frankl was one of the most admired American furniture designers of the 20th century. It comes with 4 chairs and one captain chair as well so their are five chairs altogether. When I moved it was too big for my dining room. I used it at my store. This beautiful antique replica dining set comes with 6 double-pressed back chairs and a table leaf that makes the table open to 48" oval. The table. When closed measures 36" round and when the leaf is put in it, it measures 48"long x 36"wide oval. The wood is walnut in color and is solid oak. The table has a single pedestal in the center of the table top. Pictures above show set with leaf in it. In great shape, with few small flaws from wear and tear(like slight scratching here and there, not much though) A must see. Offered is one antique 54" round tiger oak dining table with Griffin ball and claw feet and 6 tiger oak dining chairs with paw feet. This is a magnificent set that has been in our family for a while but we are now redecorating. The set has a very nice warm and inviting patina from decades of loving use. Look at the massive. Hand carved talon feet on the table! The detail is second to none and I included a picture of the feet against my hands(I'm 6'3 with very large fists) The table has some nicks, scrapes, bumps, and missing veneer but is in overall excellent condition. The underside of the table has been secured with wood to ensure rigidity. You can convert the table back to being able to expand easily. No leaves are included and the additional rail and pedestal extension are not included. The chairs are not original to the ... moretable but go well with the table. All chairs have caned seating and 4 of the 6 are functional. 2 chairs will need the caning replaced. Notice that the chairs are in excellent shape and are all sturdy but do have some nicks and bumps with one of the chairs with the broken caning having damage on the backside as pictured. Berkey and Gay 1930's Carved Oak Dining Set 5 Chairs Buffet
This oak dining room set bears the make of Berkey and Gay and the Simmons Co. Who bought Berkey and Gay in 1929 and owned the Co thru 1935. The set has been in my Chicago family since the 1930's. Some may call it a Jacobean style, but I think of it as Art Deco. The table measures 60 inches long and 40 wide. There is a built in 18 inch leaf on each end which adds another 3 feet. There are four chairs, the fifth with arms. The seats are covered in a turquoise cotton and are not original, but easy to replace. The buffet stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 3 feet 9 inches across. It has one long drawer and then two shelves inside the bottom drawers and the pulls are original. Because it is at least 80 years old, the set has some chips and could be refinished. But this is solid oak with a great deal of carved wood. The table is heavy, so that in ... moreorder to move it the legs must first be removed and the bottom and top moved separately.
