This chair ... morewas recently picked from an old nh home. It's possibly all original. The finish and upholstery appear original. Upholstery is a bit dusty dirty but useable with a cleaning. The chair frame is a little loose. Not bad but with that said a very useable and very comfortable piece! The back has deep tufting and the seat cushion I believe to be feather filled. The finish is like a light walnut, the chair has wonderful carving and the style is just fabulous! Measures 43" tall, 30" wide and about 36" in depth. This is a Beautiful Antique French Chair. Inherited from my Great Aunt. In great shape. There is some wear on the arm padding but not worn thru the fabric. Beautiful shade of Pink Fabric, Carved and painted Roses on the top. The chair is a shade of off-white with Gilt trimmings all over the chair- hopefully I gave enough photos to show how wonderful this chair is and would fit in many rooms. 1 Antique Oak Desk& Chair Overall dimensions of this desk are 35" deep X 46" wide X 30 1/2" high. The hutch part of the desk is 17" Deep X 46" Wide X 21" High. The depth of the back filing section of this desk is 13" Deep and app. 46" wide. This desk is much different than any that I have seen. It is a desk. With hutch that sits on top and is held in place with 4 dowels, one of which is broken. The desk has 12 drawers all of which are original and work. There are no guides, they slide on the wood. The drawer locks that hold the other drawers shut/locked all work and are not broken in any manner. The locks on the drawers do work but some how I have managed to lose the keys to this desk. The hutch has 4 drawers 16"cubby holes" for storage and one pencil holder drawer on the right and only ... morethe front piece of the left pencil holder. A very nice antique. Circa 1920's- 1930's, Louis XVI style kidney desk in the round(may also be used as a vanity. It has satinwood veneers with oil painted flowers, the drawer interiors of oak. The six cabriole legs are carved, the legs and trim in the original ivory enamel paint. It has a matching finish chair, new upholstery. The desk measures 30" tall by 43" wide 19" deep. From bottom of center drawer to floor is 23" tall, the kneehole 16" wide from leg to opposite leg. The chair is 35" tall by 16" wide by 17" deep. This is a fabulous piece that dates to the Mid Century(1950s- 1960s) The bench is a luxurious piece of fine quality. It features a French Provincial, Louis XVI style and form. The chair has a solid wood(no veneer) frame with fabric seat and removable arm cushions. The wood frame has a whitewashed finish in a cream, light tan color. It features carved/incised floral medallion accents at the tops of the legs as well as on the arms. The roll arm design is accomplished/accented with spindles. The legs are straight and tapered. The fabric is original. It is a minty green background color and is a flat weave. There is an abundant, textured(raised) iron scroll pattern in golden chenille. We are pleased to offer to you this FABULOUS. Mid Century chair. This is an incredible chair with both French(Louis XV) and Napoleon III design/form characteristics. It features a substantial WOOD(not composite) frame which is exquisitely carved in a dimensional rope pattern. Carved tassels accent the arms as well as the feet. There is also a"tied knot" accent on the lower legs. The wood has a heavily applied, silver leaf finish with a black, slightly mottled over glaze. The chair features the finest silk fabric. The fabric is original and is a beautiful, antique ivory color(a very light cappuccino color in indirect light) with a pearlescent sheen. There are a few Solid Kumfort Folding chairs out there. But; you do not see very often ones that have a fabric seat cushion as most are vinyl. The metal frame and latch works. This old chair is in overall good condition for its age, a few paint spots and at the top of the back frame there is a small surface split. ANTIQUE FRENCH LOUIS CARVED WHITE WOOD SETTEE CHAIR CUSTOM OLD SLIP COVER 1 OF 2
We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique settee/chair. This piece has gorgeous lines and features a wooden frame with ornately carved floral details in the French. Louis XVI style. The frame is whitewashed and is paired with a gold striped velvety fabric. The gold does pull a light green in certain lighting so there is a greenish element to the gold. The chair is antique to older vintage and is from the early half of the 20th century. It is rounded in shape with a curved/arched back. The chair has a removable cushion(not attached to the chair) It is stuffed with a combination of feathers and batting. The cushion is very full and comfortable to sit on. The chair has had a custom slip cover made for it at some point. The cover is a heavy cotton and has zippers located on the back of the cover and on the cushion. It has finished details ... moresuch as piping and ruffles. It hides the wooden frame but it is custom made for the chair and therefore I am including it with the chair. The original fabric is in very good condition with only minor signs of age/wear. There are no rips, tears, etc. The wood is also good with a"chippy" appearance that adds to the aged character. The frame is in good condition for its age. There are some minor cracks which are not severe and can be corrected if you so desire. The chair is sturdy but, because of its age, it is not a piece that is meant for everyday or heavy use. It is a lovely accent chair with elegant and graceful lines and details. I am guessing that the slipcover is about 40 years old(based on the stitching and the zipper style) It is in very good condition but it does need to be hand washed as it does have some soiling around the bottom where it has touched the floor. I would recommend hand washing and would hang it up to dry(no machine wash or dry) just to be on the safe side. Please note that this listing is for 1 chair and slipcover. However. We do have the identical chair and another slipcover available should you want a pair. The chair measures 45.5" wide.
